Stealing My Stepsister's Fiancée - Chapter 26
Chapter 26: Self-Resolution
Su Yu couldn’t identify the specific scent on Ni Hezhi. Unable to undergo differentiation herself, she naturally didn’t associate it with pheromones, instead guessing it was perfume.
When the scent wafted to her nose, Su Yu felt as if she had lost her soul. A sense of bliss surged from her very core, an excitement like a traveler lost in the desert for days finally seeing a source of water.
Growing more addicted with every breath, Su Yu subtly pressed against Ni Hezhi’s jaw. In her hazy vision, she greedily inhaled the intoxicating scent into her lungs.
It was an intimate and lingering gesture.
A wave of joy washed over Ni Hezhi. She was in full heat, her body desperate for relief. She instinctively raised her hand to embrace Su Yu’s waist, pulling their bodies even closer together.
But the next second, her expression froze.
Was she mistaken?
Why was there a faint, woody scent on Su Yu, one that only an Alpha would have? The scent was very light, a subtle wisp, yet she could still detect it despite the overwhelming presence of her own intense pheromones.
Ni Hezhi was a high-grade Omega with rare pheromones. The pheromones of an ordinary Alpha couldn’t produce a high concentration of dopamine in her brain. In other words, low-grade Alphas couldn’t arouse her.
Yet, this subtle woody scent made her dizzy and captivated. Every cell and pore in her body felt an unbearable emptiness.
“Jiejie…” Su Yu’s body was hot, her temperature abnormally high. The head buried in the Omega’s neck felt like a furnace.
Ni Hezhi’s heart trembled.
No, it couldn’t be…
Could Su Yu be about to differentiate?
Despite her usual bold and unrestrained demeanor, Ni Hezhi had never witnessed someone else’s differentiation. She recalled the details of her own at age thirteen and realized it was completely different from Su Yu’s current state.
When the Omegas around her, including herself, differentiated, they would also get a fever, but the temperature was low, even lower than a normal body temperature. Their bodies would feel weak and powerless, making it extremely difficult to even stand.
Su Yu, on the other hand, had a terrifying amount of strength. Her arm, wrapped around Ni Hezhi’s waist, felt like an iron band, almost suffocating her.
Maybe… maybe she just had a fever?
The little goofball jumped into the water to save her and then spent the whole day in wet clothes. It was entirely possible she had a fever.
“Xiao Yu, get up first.” Ni Hezhi pushed her head away, wanting to get a thermometer from the suitcase. “Jiejie will help you take your temperature.”
Su Yu’s limbs and brain’s control system seemed to have failed. She was unresponsive. As Ni Hezhi tried to pry her hand from her waist, the figure in front of her suddenly flipped them over.
Ni Hezhi let out a gasp. Before she could react, Su Yu pinned her underneath. Looking up, she met a pair of eyes filled with overwhelming arousal.
Su Yu’s face was flushed, her eyes bloodshot. The area around her eyes was a mesmerizing, maple-leaf red, and her entire being exuded an aggressive aura.
How did this goofball suddenly become so A?
She loved it…
Ni Hezhi’s heart felt like it would melt. Her “triangle area” was like a broken faucet, dripping water that formed transparent flowers on the old-fashioned peony-patterned bedsheets.
She no longer had the capacity to distinguish whether Su Yu was in heat or had a fever. All she wanted was to pull her close and try every position she’d ever seen in a movie.
“Xiao Yu…” Ni Hezhi wrapped her legs around Su Yu’s waist and pecked her on the lips. “Did you learn everything Jiejie just taught you?” she asked coyly.
Su Yu was clearly out of her mind, her breathing quick and shallow. Ni Hezhi heard her mumble a hoarse “mm,” but her mind wasn’t on the answer. She just kept burying her head in Ni Hezhi’s neck, leaving a trail of scorching heat.
Ni Hezhi turned her head to accommodate the angle of the kiss. In her shifting vision, she saw their intertwined silhouettes on the mottled wall.
The single wooden bed, missing a leg and propped up with a few bricks, couldn’t support their combined weight and swayed back and forth.
The subtle creaking sounds made Ni Hezhi blush.
Who was this libertine on top of her?
Was she still that naive, honest little goofball?
The breathing grew more hurried. Su Yu’s lips and teeth lingered on the Omega’s neck. The scent coming from that spot was intoxicating, and Su Yu couldn’t control her obsession with it. She greedily drank it in, her wet, fragmented kisses falling continuously on Ni Hezhi’s tangled hair.
Ni Hezhi couldn’t handle her aggressive force and mumbled for her to slow down.
“Ugh… that’s not right, you clueless blockhead, not there…”
“Don’t just kiss there, other places too…”
“Xiao Yu, go a little lower…”
Su Yu had no sexual experience. She just felt intoxicated by the Omega’s scent and instinctively rubbed against her neck. This action, however, left Ni Hezhi in a state of tantalizing frustration. Her fragrant, sweet peach, left unattended, felt unbearably itchy.
“Xiao Yu, do it like Jiejie taught you.” Ni Hezhi arched her back, bringing her peach to Su Yu’s lips. Because of the angle, she couldn’t see Su Yu’s canine teeth, which were now pressing hard against the skin on her neck.
Su Yu’s lips trembled as she opened them, instinctively moving towards the Omega’s scent gland.
Just then, a flash of lightning streaked across the window, followed by a sudden clap of thunder. Amidst the deafening roar, a sizzling electrical sound could be heard. The incandescent bulb overhead flickered a few times, then went out with a pop. The entire room was plunged into darkness.
The power was out!
Su Yu was startled and sat up abruptly, as if waking from a nightmare. Her bewildered eyes slowly cleared. She belatedly realized she had been taking liberties with an Omega.
Overwhelmed with shame, she was about to apologize when Ni Hezhi suddenly hooked her neck. Her body, following the force, lurched forward, and the Omega’s soft lips pressed against hers again.
Su Yu: “?!”
“Don’t you dare hide…” Ni Hezhi held onto her neck, ignoring everything else, and softly moaned, “Xiao Yu, come and eat Jiejie.”
She lifted Su Yu’s hand, placed it on her swaying peach, and, like a siren, begged her in a whisper against her ear.
Su Yu hesitated, her palm beginning to close around it, when a sudden, urgent cough came from outside. She then heard her grandmother’s slightly hoarse voice: “A’Yu, A’Yu… the power’s out. Get up and see if the circuit breaker tripped?”
Su Yu froze, as if a bucket of cold water had been dumped on her. She instantly sobered up, scrambling away and tumbling off the bed in her haste.
Thump!
Her back hit the floor hard. Su Yu ignored the pain, frantically got to her feet, and scurried around the room like a headless chicken.
What should she do?
If she went out now, she would undoubtedly run into her grandmother. Dressed so improperly…
Ni Hezhi was also startled. She bit her lip, trying to suppress the heat surging through her body, and pointed to the small window above the desk: “Go out that way, circle around the backyard, and go into your own room. Grandma walks slowly; she won’t notice.”
With no other choice, Su Yu hurriedly put on her clothes. She looked back at Ni Hezhi one last time, whispered “I’m sorry,” and leaped out the window.
After she left, Ni Hezhi curled her body, her slightly bent legs involuntarily rubbing together. She wanted to chase away the strange sense of emptiness, but the more she rubbed, the wetter she became—more so than the rain outside.
She had no other option. She grabbed a pillow at random and pressed it between her legs, rubbing back and forth. No matter how hard she tried, it only brought discomfort; she felt nothing else.
The rain was coming down hard. Moisture filled the room. Amidst the sudden roars of thunder, Ni Hezhi closed her eyes halfway and bit down on her sweat-slicked fingers.
The fine sweat was cool, but her saliva was warm, slowly moistening her fingers.
Ni Hezhi’s breaths were rapid, her forehead was sweating, and her face was flushed. Drops of sweat glistened as they ran down her cheeks, dripping into the rising and falling depths of her cleavage.
It was a beautiful and seductive sight.
Ni Hezhi bit down hard on her lower lip, hoping to use the pain to curb her uncontrolled desire.
It was no use.
She felt powerless against her Omega’s biological nature. Even when she had been given an inducing agent at a nightclub and forced into heat, she was able to tough it out until she got to a hospital to have her stomach pumped. She had never felt this kind of unbearable need before.
Ni Hezhi’s thoughts were a chaotic mess, but her mind still clung to Su Yu. She unconsciously called out her name.
“Xiao Yu…”
Thunder boomed again, and with that sound, Ni Hezhi parted the lace fabric with her saliva-coated fingers…
Since her differentiation, Ni Hezhi had never had to relieve herself on her own. The maids at home kept track of her cycle and prepared suppressant pills in advance, so accidental heats were almost unheard of.
This was the first time she had to find relief for herself without suppressants.
She had no experience and no method. She fumbled around, trying to find some way to save herself.
