She reached the door where Huo Ling was confined. With her metal-gloved hand pressed against the door, the electronic lock opened immediately. Huo Ling looked up and saw Sheng Nuan smiling cheerfully, “See, I didn’t lie to you.”

Huo Ling raised an eyebrow at the metal gloves on her hands but said nothing and stood up to follow her out.

“We’re heading to the docking bay to find a ship and leave.”

Huo Ling asked, “What’s on your hands?”

Sheng Nuan smiled, “A new type of weapon developed by Sheng’s research and development team…”

The two of them moved forward quickly, carefully avoiding wave after wave of patrols.
