Dokwon’s lips twitched at Eunsoo’s sudden outburst. He stared blankly at Eunsoo’s determined face. Then suddenly, he burst into laughter. What was so funny and curious that he even clapped his hands?

“Are you sure I’ll continue to love you even after I regain all my memories?”

“Yes. I am.”

Eunsoo’s answer was unwavering, like a very solid and firm wall. It made Dokwon involuntarily swallow dryly.

Dokwon stood up and pulled his hand from Eunsoo. But Eunsoo grabbed his hand again, squeezing tightly, not wanting to let go.

Eunsoo let go of Dokwon’s hand.

How long had he been holding it that the place where he held Dokwon’s hand felt warm? Dokwon quickly covered the back of his hand with the other. He didn’t know why. Was he trying to erase Eunsoo’s touch? Or did he dislike the idea of Eunsoo’s warmth fading away?

While Dokwon stood frozen, Eunsoo fastened the buttons of his coat.

“I’ll be leaving now. I thought of having lunch together, but I don’t think I can digest it…”
