Still, there was only one thing in the living room. A thick blanket that Eunsoo always clung to as if it were a favorite stuffed toy whenever he came over. Though it was originally Dokwon’s blanket, since Eunsoo usually used it, he decided to take it with him.

Next was the kitchen. This space was a bit tricky. Eunsoo hadn’t bought anything here. The cup he often used was Dokwon’s, the grapefruit-flavored sparkling water in the fridge was bought by Dokwon even though Eunsoo drank it, and the freezer was filled with macaroon ice cream. The piles of café latte coffee capsules and soft butter cookies were the same.

Under Dokwon’s stern watch, Eunsoo, who was rummaging through things, glanced at him.

“Even though it’s what I’m eating, what about what you bought, Dokwon?”

“Take it all. Or put it in the trash can over there.”

Dokwon pointed to the trash can in the corner with his chin.

Eunsoo pouted and gathered the cookies and soda. He couldn’t drink the cafe latte because of the caffeine, but he didn’t want to throw it away, so he just left it. He hoped Dokwon, who wouldn’t touch anything but black coffee, would accidentally drink the cafe latte one day and scrunch his face in disgust.

The kitchen was soon finished. Next, he went to the study. There, Eunsoo gathered his laptop, wireless mouse, USB, and so on. He also went to the bathroom. Aside from Dokwon’s neatly lined-up electric toothbrush next to his, there was nothing else to gather. He had used Dokwon’s shower supplies and lotion.

Eunsoo wondered if there was something he missed, so he opened the cupboard and looked through things. While he had left traces in other places, he had to make sure the bathroom was clear. If Dokwon fainted in a place like this, he might get seriously hurt.

When Eunsoo didn’t find anything unusual and closed the cupboard with a thud, a voice tickled his ear with a disturbingly low tone.

“It seems you didn’t take your suppressants today.”

The voice reverberated through the bathroom, sending a chill down Eunsoo’s spine. Startled, he quickly turned his head.

Dokwon was standing right behind him.

Eunsoo stared at Dokwon. It had been a while since he saw him this close. No, there had been times when he was close, but never this quietly. He had either been unconscious, having a seizure, or involved in some silly power struggle.

As he locked eyes with Dokwon in silence, it felt like he was back in the past. Dokwon’s unkempt hair and languid eyes gave off a seductive aura. It was the distinctive charm of an alpha.

In the past, he would have been captivated by Dokwon’s face and pheromones and sought his embrace.

Eunsoo, lost in thoughts of the past, snapped back to reality. He quickly covered his neck. It was a habit, an omega’s habit, even though it wouldn’t hide the pheromones.

“Ah… I came in a hurry.”

“In a hurry?”

“It was bedtime. I just threw on a coat after receiving Secretary Jung’s call…”

Eunsoo took half a step back. Ideally, he wanted to escape a step, or even three, but the wall was right behind him, making it impossible.

But for some reason, Dokwon took a step closer. As a result, the distance between them was now much shorter. Eunsoo only had to lower his head slightly to bury his face in Dokwon’s chest.

A heavy silence fell. Eunsoo turned his eyes away, unable to look at Dokwon’s face. He focused on the wide, sculpted chest and broad shoulders visible through Dokwon’s sweater.

Feeling guilty about doing something wrong, Eunsoo exhaled deeply and tried to turn his body. He felt Dokwon inhale. Startled, Eunsoo pushed Dokwon away.

“No!”

With a fair amount of force, Dokwon was pushed back a step.

“What’s not allowed?”

Dokwon, with a deeply furrowed brow, asked. Suddenly being pushed back made him feel like a shameless pervert. What was once considered his preference now seemed to be an issue.

One of Dokwon’s eyebrows rose in confusion, and Eunsoo looked as if he was about to cry.
