Reasonable Loss - 53
“Let’s go to my house and watch it together.
And then we can go watch the next episode tomorrow.”
Dokwon, having finished buttoning Eunsoo’s coat, held her hand tightly.
Eunsoo scratched her cheek with a vague expression.
“……Your house, Dokwon?”
“Why? Do you dislike it?”
“No… It’s not that I dislike it… But what if you get sick again?”
Eunsoo was worried.
She had been thinking that maybe they were meeting too often these days.
She had said twice a week would be good, but they had been seeing each other four times a week…
It wasn’t bad for her, but she worried Dokwon might have a fit.
“I won’t get sick.”
But Dokwon quickly brushed off Eunsoo’s concern.
“How do you know that?”
“Since you haven’t been sick even once during the weeks we’ve been meeting, you won’t be sick now.”
Dokwon’s voice was filled with confidence.
However, Eunsoo’s eyelids, heavy with worry, showed no signs of lightening.
Dokwon quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him along.
It was only a 15-minute walk from here to his house, so there was no need to take a car; it was a very nice “date” location.
It was a pity that they hadn’t realized it until now.
Eunsoo reluctantly took a step forward, looking somewhat excited by Dokwon’s enthusiasm.
This was Dokwon’s house after a full month.
It was still clean and still luxurious.
Unlike the last time he visited, Eunsoo entered the house timidly.
He glanced at Dokwon while taking off his shoes, looked at him while taking off his coat, and looked at him while drinking water.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
Dokwon asked as he opened the refrigerator door.
“I’m worried you might collapse.”
Eunsoo replied, dragging his toes along the floor as he sat in a chair at the table.
“I told you I won’t.”
“You never know.”
A hint of irritation glimmered in Eunsoo’s eyes.
It wasn’t something one could assert so confidently.
Do people who suddenly collapse think they will?
The body isn’t that kind.
If Dokwon collapsed in front of him, the shock would be tremendous.
Even now, the images of Dokwon glaring at him in pain, of Dokwon with a nosebleed, and of Dokwon crumbling while holding his head flashed before his eyes.
Dokwon casually closed the refrigerator door and approached Eunsoo, who had a sulky expression.
He gently cupped Eunsoo’s cheeks with his large hands and spoke clearly in a low voice.
“I don’t have a headache.
If I feel like I might, I’ll let you know in advance.”
