Red Dot - 140
Chapter 140
“If I want it so badly, don’t wait and come get it yourself.”
Junseong left a seductive, husky voice and looked up at the drone floating in the air. The man holding the drone controller lay sprawled on the ground, so the lens angle was slightly off, but this scene was surely being vividly recorded.
Junseong estimated the drone’s filming range and asked the man in front of him.
“Is it recording?”
The large man, unable to move because of the machete touching his neck, silently rolled his eyes instead of answering.
Junseong took the silence as affirmation and extended an empty hand, beckoning Do Hanseo to come closer.
Hanseo, who had been exuding a menacing aura as if he would slit the throat of the small man he pinned down with a knife, obediently approached Junseong like a well-trained dog.
Immediately, Junseong grabbed Hanseo’s collar and yanked him close.
“Ugh!”
The sound came from the large man, still with the machete aimed at his neck. The machete shifted slightly due to Junseong’s movement, causing a sharp, cutting sensation, but now was not the time to care about that.
Junseong, pulling Hanseo by the collar, kissed him without hesitation.
Their lips met precisely, as if they had kissed more than once or twice. Almost simultaneously, two unseen tongues naturally intertwined between their parted lips.
Hanseo’s arm, holding the knife, tightly wrapped around Junseong’s waist, while his other hand pulled at the back of Junseong’s head. The small head quickly lost control within the large grip.
“Mm…”
Junseong’s eyes twitched.
It was just a performative kiss to provoke Nam Ki-hyuk. But to Do Hanseo, that apparently didn’t matter.
Hanseo’s tongue invaded Junseong’s mouth, licking every tooth. It glided softly, then swept and tapped forcefully, now tickling the roof of his mouth and the front of his throat, leaving him dizzy.
Junseong’s tongue, initially responding, now weakly resisted, like his hands pushing against Hanseo’s chest. But it was quickly overpowered and stimulated again.
He had planned to kiss briefly, but it turned so intense that saliva dripped from the corner of his mouth.
Releasing Junseong after the deep, breathless kiss, Hanseo licked the saliva trailing down Junseong’s lips and chin with his long tongue and glared at the large man. The man, who had unintentionally watched their explicit kiss from the front row, had a flushed face.
Hanseo looked up at the drone, then kissed the head of the panting Junseong leaning against him, as if showing off. His smirking eyes looked annoyingly triumphant.
He was a large dog as skilled at provocation as his master.

Junseong and Hanseo, having forcibly separated Nam Ki-hyuk’s men, headed straight for the director’s apartment.
The surveillance team wouldn’t likely track them again.
They had broken all the drone’s propellers so it couldn’t even attempt to fly, and crushed the controller underfoot. Even so, they didn’t tamper with the device itself, so the footage would still be recorded, and the deliberately captured content would reach Nam Ki-hyuk.
Still, thinking the surveillance team might follow on foot, they tied their hands and feet. Junseong left the two men in a nearby, seemingly safe clothing store and easily found the walkie-talkie they were expected to have.
Through the walkie-talkie, Junseong told them to retrieve the men and the drone, giving their approximate location. Only then could he head toward the director’s apartment with a relieved heart.
After parting with the surveillance team, it took a whopping 30 minutes to reach the apartment.
If they had gone straight, the sharp-witted Nam Ki-hyuk might have guessed their destination, so they deliberately moved away from the apartment until dealing with the surveillance team.
But the delay was also because the “effect” had worn off.
“I’m fine now, but just in case, shouldn’t we draw more bl00d?”
Junseong, finally relaxing his close stance in the empty apartment hallway, glared at Hanseo.
“I said no. If you get weak, we’re screwed.”
“Why not?”
Hanseo’s hand grabbed Junseong’s chin, turned it, and gave a short kiss on his lips.
“If you kiss me like before, it’ll snap me right awake.”
“It’s not just your mind waking up; the problem is something else standing at attention.”
“Caught me?”
Hanseo, thinking he had held back well, added, and Junseong glared at him, standing in front of the director’s door. He entered the memorized password into the still-powered door lock, and with a short beep, the lock clicked open.
The interior looked much the same as before.
If anything had changed, it was the few flies, somehow present, buzzing around the headless corpses in the living room.
If left like this for a few more days, maggots would swarm the corpses, and the stench of rotting flesh would overpower the thick smell of bl00d.
Junseong tore his eyes from the corpses and moved familiarly toward somewhere in the house. He clearly remembered the director’s house layout from the final round in his dream.
Next to the pantry in the house.
It was a tiny room, called an alpha room or storage room in the apartment’s structure.
Unlike other rooms, it had a door lock instead of a key, but Junseong vividly recalled this room’s password too.
As he entered the password, the door opened smoothly with a click.
Inside the small room were a storage case resembling a refrigerator, a small desk, and a laptop on it.
At first glance, the white storage case could pass for a refrigerator. Junseong opened it.
As expected, a row of bl00d bags without name tags filled one compartment.
There were 12 bl00d bags in total.
Thanks to deliberately leaving his backpack mostly empty, Junseong secured all of them.
While Junseong packed the bl00d bags, Hanseo stared at the laptop.
A small USB was plugged into it, catching his attention, and he had already powered it on.
By the time Junseong filled his backpack and closed the storage case, Hanseo had checked the USB’s contents.
“As expected, he copied it.”
At Hanseo’s words, Junseong looked at the laptop screen. The USB contained only one document file and one video file.
[Z-Project Research Data_Ver2.6.pdf]
Hanseo, checking the document’s name, version, creation date, and modification date, narrowed his eyes.
“It’s the incomplete data left at the second lab.”
The director had apparently copied the research data from the second lab when escaping the facility. That data, already tampered with by Do Hanseo to remove all information about himself, was useless without the base bl00d.
If read closely, one would notice the gaps, but with zombies running rampant in the lab at the time, securing the file was impressive enough.
It wasn’t intentional, but with such research data still intact despite its gaps, the Disease Control Agency might produce a vaccine faster than expected.
Junseong, looking relieved, pointed to the video file in the folder.
“Is this also from the research data you left?”
[1101.mp4]
It was a video titled with numbers.
“No. I didn’t leave this.”
Hanseo answered Junseong and played the video using the touchpad.
The screen showed none other than the director’s house interior. Now a grim space with headless corpses, the living room in the video was peaceful, with a small dog lying calmly asleep.
“A camera?”
Come to think of it, a small camera was installed near the large TV in the director’s living room. In the dream, Junseong hadn’t paid it much attention, but now it seemed like a CCTV for monitoring a pet while away.
The small dog, now gone, glanced at the camera. A beat later, the camera’s direction shifted. Someone had manually adjusted its angle.
The person who turned the camera toward the entrance appeared on screen—the director of the bl00d bank.
The director, with a tense expression, checked the camera’s lens, then a doorbell rang.
The director handed the dog, which ran ahead, to his wife and told her to stay in a room. His trembling voice suggested he was extremely nervous.
After the sound of a door closing in the distance, the director, standing at the entrance, took a deep breath and opened the door.
– Why’d you take so long to open?
A cold, irritated voice came through the video.
Junseong, noticing Hanseo’s shoulder twitch slightly, glared at another man entering the frame.
A man in his 40s, wearing a white lab coat typical of a doctor or researcher, pushed past the director’s shoulder and entered. His face became clearer in the camera.
While the director closed the door, the man strode toward the living room and pulled something from his coat pocket.
A half-used bl00d bag connected to a short hose.
Junseong bit his lip hard upon seeing the name tag on it.
Base_Do Hanseo (RH NULL)
Only one man could have that bl00d bag with that name tag.
The man in the white coat, captured on camera, seemed to be Do Hanseo’s adoptive father.
