His arms were twisted behind him and he lost his balance, crashing heavily to the ground.

As his body hit the ground, the dust on the ground was kicked up with a loud thud, falling all over his mouth and nose. He felt someone’s foot pressing down on his head, forcing his cheek against the ground. As he inhaled a big breath of dust, he could not help but sneeze, tears and snot streaming down his face. His mind kept repeating one word: pain… pain… pain…

The dozen or so thugs were completely stunned by what they saw. How could it be that in the blink of an eye, their young master was already on the ground, one arm twisted behind his back and his body ruthlessly pinned down?

Gu Si Yang finally returned to his senses and realised his sister was helping him get revenge. His face immediately brightened with joy. He responded happily then he ran off to push through the throng of Xia’s servants who had surrounded them. Then he went to the wine shop next door and bought a jug of wine. He even specially picked out a large jug, one that was almost too heavy for him to carry.

“Here, drink. My brother will personally pour it for you!” Gu Yu Qi said, removing her foot from Xia Shuang Cheng’s head, only to place it on his back instead.

Xia Shuang Cheng felt a sudden lightness on his head and hurriedly lifted it. Before he could open his mouth, a torrent of wine came crashing down over his head, courtesy of Gu Si Yang.

Xia Shuang Cheng could not even breathe properly because of the wine. He choked repeatedly, wanting to inhale, but all he sucked in was the alcohol. The hot wine gushed into his nose and mouth, and he felt numb from head to toe. It was so hot that he could not even take care of himself.

Xia Shuang Cheng had never endured such torment in his life. He could not even process what he was feeling and he could not even think about it. His entire body from head to toe was overwhelmed by just two sensations, burning and numbness!

By the time the jug was emptied, Xia Shuang Cheng was choking so hard that he could no longer speak. His throat bobbed uncontrollably, and he could not even make a sound.

This brought immense satisfaction to Gu Si Yang. He hurled the empty wine jug to the side, smashing it into pieces. He then huffed at Xia Shuang Cheng fiercely.
