Saying that, Elma starts pushing Mia’s back gently.

Mia says with a troubled expression, though she seems happy.

“Well then, Kingil-san, please take care of my daughter.”

I call out to Mia’s back as she walks away.

Elma is muttering something under her breath.

“Sorry about that, Kingil-san.”

“Haha, you two get along well.”

“No, not at all. What about your parents, Kingil-san?”

“Ah… I believe they’re doing fine…”

Elma, sensing something, hurriedly changes the subject.

“Ah! I made breakfast. Would you like to eat with me?”

Saying that, Elma shows the basket she’s holding, inside of which are sandwiches. We return to the inn and eat breakfast in the dining area.

“I usually help my mother. That’s my main job.”

“At this inn?”

The traveling merchants seem to come around the changing of the seasons, and apparently, there were guests staying here until just recently.

“I see… Do you think I could join in on that hunting thing?”

“I feel bad about staying here for free, and hunting seems like something I could do.”

“Yeah! It’s no problem at all!”

“Alright, then. I’ll leave it to you, Kingil-san!”

And with that, I decided to stay in this Ritt Village for some time.
