However, there are exceptions; if the ranks differ by two, the middle rank is used, and if they differ by three, it’s the lowest rank, among other detailed rules.

“How many ranks are there?”

“There are six ranks, from E to S.”

“So there’s an S rank too?”

“Yeah, but S is not something you can just reach normally. Only those who have accomplished special feats can attain it. So, realistically, it’s more like there are five ranks from E to A.”

“So, that means Tia and the others are pretty high-ranked, huh.”
