Rumor Has It I Don’t Follow A-Class Morals - Chapter 60
Just as Ming Muyao was getting ready to pack up and escape, a new email popped up from Heng Jingxian, followed immediately by a call from her.
Ming Muyao looked at the incoming call with a miserable expression, then said to Su Yin, “Let me take this call real quick, don’t hang up.”
Su Yin responded with a soft “Okay,” and Ming Muyao answered the late-night call from Heng Jingxian.
“President Ming, I’ve sent the documents to your email. Please take care of them. Also, send a few people with me to the factory tomorrow. I want to inspect the actual production process,” Heng Jingxian said clearly over the phone.
Ming Muyao replied in a grumbly tone, “President Heng, don’t you ever date?”
Heng Jingxian: “?”
Ming Muyao continued, “Your assistant runs around with you all the time. Don’t you plan to take her on a trip or something? You know, let her relax?”
Heng Jingxian probably had a hunch where this was going and replied coolly, “She’s my employee. It’s perfectly normal for her to do her job. I pay her a salary; it’s not to let her enjoy a vacation.”
Ming Muyao let out a sigh.
Just wait a few months until you’re standing in the rain crying your heart out chasing after her. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Heng Jingxian was completely unaware of the impending disaster and still spoke with that overbearing tone, “If you think it’s too much, I won’t say anything, but you must arrange someone to go to the factory with me tomorrow.”
“Fine, I’ll make the arrangements,” Ming Muyao said helplessly. “Anything else?”
“That’s it for now. I’ll call you if something comes up.”
After hanging up, Ming Muyao pursed her lips and mimicked Heng Jingxian’s tone, “‘I’ll call you if something comes up…’”
Su Yin paused, confused. “Hm?”
“Ah, not talking about you,” Ming Muyao suddenly remembered she was still on the line with Su Yin and said apologetically, “Sorry, I probably won’t make it home tonight. I’ve still got some work to finish, so I’m sleeping at the office.”
“…Do you even have a blanket or pillow at your office?” Su Yin sounded a little upset, though she tried her best not to show it. She spoke gently, “If you get hungry, order takeout. There are still places open at this hour. Don’t go hungry.”
“I got it.” Ming Muyao hated being apart from Su Yin too, but she really did have to work overtime tonight. There was no other choice but to let Su Yin stay home alone.
After a few more casual exchanges, Su Yin said softly, “It’s been a while since we… exchanged pheromones. Tomorrow at the latest, we need to do it.”
Right after saying that, she must’ve turned red, because her voice became flustered. “I-I’ll hang up now. Go back to work.”
Before Ming Muyao could say anything, Su Yin quickly ended the call.
Staring at the darkened screen, Ming Muyao felt her heart itch from Su Yin’s words. She wished she could fly home and kiss her right now.
But tonight wasn’t possible.
Ming Muyao frowned slightly. I have to make it back tomorrow no matter what. Even Su Yin, with how shy she is, brought it up… I can’t ignore that.
In the middle of the night, An Jinyao—still fast asleep—suddenly received a call from her boss. She groaned and buried her head under the covers.
Early the next morning, Ming Muyao returned home.
She had worked all day Saturday and even spent the night in the office. Her whole body felt stiff and uncomfortable, so the first thing she did after getting home was head to the bathroom to wash up.
Hearing the sound, Su Yin came out of the bedroom. When she saw Ming Muyao, her mind immediately flashed back to the words she’d said before hanging up last night. Her ears turned red, and without a word, she closed the door again.
Ming Muyao opened her mouth, guessing Su Yin was just shy. She raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything.
Aunt Chen had made breakfast. Ming Muyao ate a little, then went back to bed for some much-needed sleep. She didn’t wake up until noon, feeling lazy and unmotivated.
She didn’t rush to get up. Lying on her side, she opened her phone and saw a bunch of messages from An Jinyao, who had apparently been venting for a while.
Heng Jingxian was a workaholic. Not only did she demand work over the weekend, but she also insisted on going to the factories for in-person inspections.
An Jinyao just didn’t get it. What’s even worth inspecting in those half-dead factories?
But she was a well-paid employee, so of course she wouldn’t say anything rebellious. All she could do was plaster on a smile and follow Heng Jingxian around, factory after factory.
During their short lunch break, An Jinyao messaged Ming Muyao with some updates. Apparently, a few factories were underperforming, and Heng Jingxian planned to clean them up. She also wanted to gradually move away from traditional manufacturing and focus more on the internet economy.
This had actually been Ming Muyao’s plan all along. When Heng Jingxian became a shareholder, they had already shut down most of the unprofitable old factories.
But the few that remained were performing well and had good growth potential. Ming Muyao didn’t agree with Heng Jingxian’s idea of cutting everything all at once. She figured she’d wait until this so-called “new broom sweeping clean” phase was over, and then have a proper talk with her.
Just as she was about to get out of bed, she heard the door to her bedroom being gently twisted open.
Su Yin quietly tiptoed in, moving like a little cat without making a sound. She approached the bed, trying to see if Ming Muyao was awake.
But before she could get a good look, Ming Muyao turned her head, smiling slyly, and pulled her into the covers.
It was getting warmer lately, so Su Yin had been wearing a thin nightgown at home. She didn’t even have time to react before she was pulled into bed, everything around her spinning.
“Why didn’t you say anything if you were awake?” Su Yin was startled and looked up at her. “Aunt Chen said lunch is ready. I came to check if you were up.”
“I’m awake, just didn’t feel like moving.” Ming Muyao wrapped her up like an octopus, pressing their cheeks together. “Last night… you said we needed treatment, remember?”
Su Yin squirmed uncomfortably, but when she couldn’t break free, she blushed and said, “I remember. You said we had to follow the doctor’s advice.”
“Mm, then let’s follow it.”
With that, Ming Muyao leaned in and kissed her waist, her face close to Su Yin’s as she whispered, “It’s almost lunchtime. Let’s wait until tonight.”
“I just wanted a kiss,” Ming Muyao laughed softly into her ear. “The real stuff is for tonight, of course.”
As she spoke, she patted Su Yin’s butt under the covers.
Su Yin was completely flustered. She peeked out from the pillow with a half-turned face. “You really only want a kiss?”
“Yup.” Ming Muyao teased her, “Haven’t seen you all day. I just want a kiss. What? Not allowed?”
“…No…”
Su Yin hesitated for a moment, then slowly lifted her head from the pillow, leaned in, and gave Ming Muyao a soft kiss on the cheek. Then she turned her head away. “There, kiss complete. Now get up and eat.”
But Ming Muyao wasn’t satisfied. Holding her waist tightly, she pinned her down, cupping her chin with one hand and pressing their lips together again.
Su Yin was annoyed. She doesn’t keep her word at all! She lightly hit her with her little fists a couple times.
But maybe she realized that if she broke this woman, she’d have to take care of her afterward, so she gave up resisting. Instead, she softened and gripped the hem of Ming Muyao’s sleepwear, obediently parting her lips.
Her smooth tongue darted around like a mischievous little catfish, exploring Su Yin’s mouth and palate. Her cheeks turned red, like a freshly steamed crab, and her quickened heartbeat and shallow breathing made her feel hot and weak all over.
The glands at the back of her neck began to stir faintly, aching and heating up.
Su Yin knew this feeling. She was getting aroused.
Her glands hadn’t reacted like this in a long time. Ever since Ming Muyao had damaged them, they’d never felt heat again.
But lately, with the treatments, her once-dormant glands had slowly come back to life.
She didn’t know when it started exactly—maybe it didn’t matter. What mattered was that just thinking of Ming Muyao was enough to trigger a strong physical response. Her body craved her kisses, her bites, the feeling of becoming one in bed.
The slow, drawn-out breaths made Ming Muyao feel a little dizzy too. The scent of Su Yin’s pheromones filled her nose, making her head throb.
After a long moment, Ming Muyao finally pulled away and propped herself up. Looking down, she saw Su Yin breathless beneath her, like a soft pink blossom that had just bloomed—so gentle, so obedient.
But Ming Muyao suddenly frowned.
“Something’s different.”
She leaned in close again, inhaling deeply. “Your pheromones… smell a bit different from before.”
Su Yin bit her lip. Her tear-brimmed red eyes sparkled like pearls, and for a moment, Ming Muyao was completely spellbound. Then she leaned down, flicked her tongue over the tear, and swallowed it.
The taste was salty. It helped clear her mind a little. She looked down at Su Yin.
“I…”
Su Yin’s lashes trembled as she met Ming Muyao’s gaze. “I think… I’m about to go into heat.”
Ming Muyao froze. She knew Omegas had heat cycles, but she’d never encountered it personally. Hearing Su Yin say it now, she frowned slightly. “But I thought your glands were damaged?”
“They were,” Su Yin said softly. “But recently, they’ve started reacting again. I think… maybe they’re healing.”
Ming Muyao sat up and gently pulled her up too. “Let me see.”
Su Yin wasn’t as shameless as the first time anymore. She looked at Ming Muyao shyly, then slowly turned around and lifted her hair to expose the back of her neck.
Beneath the thin nightgown was a beautifully shaped spine, her skin as smooth and pale as cream. Ming Muyao felt an itch in her heart.
She didn’t know why, but a sudden urge to bite down surged through her. Still, she held back, carefully pulling down Su Yin’s collar.
The first time she saw Su Yin’s glands, they were covered in scars and bite marks—ugly, twisted wounds like centipedes crawling across her skin.
But now, while a few deep scars remained, most of the damage had healed.
The once-hideous marks were now fading. Around the old purple bruises, tender pink skin had begun to grow.
They were soft, pinkish-white.
Ming Muyao suddenly thought of something, and her face turned red. She wanted to look away, but her eyes wouldn’t move. She couldn’t stop staring at Su Yin’s freshly healing glands.
Are Omega glands always this… cute?
Her heart began to race uncontrollably. She reached out, unable to help herself, and gently touched the delicate new skin in front of her—
