Chapter 22 – Gu Gu & Sheng Sheng
Chen Sheng’s hand was caught by the senior, and after hearing what he said—his already burning face suddenly felt like it was on fire, heat spreading throughout his entire body.
He was thrilled, overjoyed, and yet completely unable to believe it—The senior actually liked him too?!
Still stuck in disbelief, he heard the senior say sadly, “Chen Sheng, do you not like me? You don’t want to be with me?”
“It’s just… it’s too sudden. I—Senior, why would you like me?”
Chen Sheng couldn’t believe it and needed confirmation.
The senior pulled him closer and turned him around to face him directly.
Chen Sheng looked into the senior’s gentle eyes.
The senior said, “I noticed you a long time ago, Chen Sheng. And after spending these past few days together—it may not have been long, but I’m certain of my feelings. I like you, Chen Sheng. What about you? Do you like me? Will you be with me?”
Chen Sheng listened to the senior’s words—it was clearly a confession.
He liked the senior too.
And the senior was exceptional in every way.
Looking at the senior’s focused, affectionate gaze,
Chen Sheng found himself unable to refuse.
So, red-faced, he finally nodded in agreement.
As soon as he agreed, the senior wrapped him in a hug.
Chen Sheng, held tightly, didn’t even know where to put his hands.
Worried about the senior’s injuries, he quickly said,
“Senior, you should let go. You’re still hurt.”
The senior let go of him.
But the next second, the senior took off his shirt—right in front of him.
Chen Sheng was completely unprepared—caught off guard, he once again saw the senior’s bare upper body.
With nowhere to hide, his gaze landed directly on the senior’s body—and he was shocked to see that the deep claw wounds… were completely gone.
The skin that had been torn open was fully healed.
But the scratch marks he had left… were still there.
Just one glance, and Chen Sheng felt like he’d been scorched.
“Senior… your wounds… they’ve already healed?”
“Yeah.” The shirtless senior leaned in closer.
“Sheng Sheng,” he said intimately.
“Believe me. I really do have the power to recover from wounds like that.
It’s nothing to me.”
The affectionate nickname left Chen Sheng stunned.
Even when he looked away, he could still see the senior’s physique in his peripheral vision—the firm waist, the broad back, the smooth muscles in motion…
And he couldn’t help but recall what happened that time…
Chen Sheng turned bright red and stammered, “Senior… you… you haven’t completely healed though…”
“You mean this?”
The senior took Chen Sheng’s hand and pressed it against the marks he had left.
The feeling under his palm made Chen Sheng feel like he’d been struck by lightning.
He tried to pull back, but the senior held his hand firmly.
The senior looked at him and continued,
“This was our first time, Sheng Sheng. Of course I had to keep the marks.”
Chen Sheng lowered his head in an instant.
How could the senior just say something like that…?!
Didn’t he say he’d never been in a relationship before?
As Chen Sheng’s ears turned red, and the blush spread down his neck—The senior let him go.
“Sheng Sheng, now that we’re together, don’t call me ‘Senior’ anymore. It sounds so distant. Can you call me something more intimate instead?”
Something intimate?!
Chen Sheng immediately thought of that overly sweet “Gu-gege” (Brother Gu).
It sounded way too mushy—he didn’t like it.
He looked up at the senior, his entire face as red as a ripe peach.
So soft, so juicy—completely ripe. Looking at those innocent, gullible eyes, the senior thought—He could just eat him whole.
Gu Zhen withdrew his gaze, hiding the dark glint in his eyes, and said, “Sheng Sheng, don’t you want us to have a special, intimate way of addressing each other?”
Chen Sheng, blushing, hesitated, “It’s not that I don’t… I just don’t know what to call you…Can I not call you Gu-gege?”
Afraid of upsetting him, Chen Sheng quickly added, “How about… Xiao Gu?” (Little Gu)
“Xiao Gu?”
Gu Zhen’s tone turned a bit dissatisfied. “I’m not little, Sheng Sheng. I’m very big—you’ve seen that already. ‘Xiao Gu’ doesn’t sound right. Pick something else.”
Chen Sheng wanted to bury himself alive.
What was the senior even talking about?!
He clearly meant the name!
He was so embarrassed he felt like he was about to explode.
Racking his brain, Chen Sheng couldn’t think of a good name.
After struggling for a while, he hesitantly said,
“How about… Da Gu?” (Big Gu)
As soon as he said it, the senior sighed.
“Sheng Sheng, I know I’m big…But if you keep calling me that, I’ll start feeling self-conscious.”
Chen Sheng: ……
He felt like he was being roasted over an open fire.
“Then, Senior—you tell me what to call you. I’ve never been in a relationship before. I really don’t know… I’m sorry.”
Chen Sheng looked helplessly at the senior—
And the senior looked right back at him.
Looking at him seriously, the senior said, word by word:
“I’ll call you Sheng Sheng. You call me Gu Gu. Gu Sheng, Gu Sheng—Gu Gu Sheng Sheng. Doesn’t that sound perfect, Sheng Sheng?”
“Mm.”
Chen Sheng stared down at his toes.
It did sound kind of nice.
But he was shy by nature.
Everything was happening so fast—so sudden—it felt like a dream.
“Sheng Sheng, why won’t you call me?”
“I…”
Chen Sheng glanced around nervously, “I’ll just go clean up the room first. It’s getting late. I… I’m a little tired.”
And with that, he fled into the bedroom.
But the moment he stepped inside—a pair of arms suddenly wrapped around his waist from behind.
The senior had followed him in—still shirtless—and pressed up against him.
“Sheng Sheng, why won’t you call me? Do you not like me? Or do you not want to call me?”
“N-No, it’s not that…”
Chen Sheng’s face was burning red.
“I… I…”
After stammering for a long time, he didn’t want to upset the senior, so he whispered softly:
“Gu… Gu…”
As soon as he said it—He was pushed up against the door by the senior.
“I didn’t hear that, Sheng Sheng. What did you just say?”
Chen Sheng tried to turn his face away,
But the senior held his chin still.
“No dodging.”
He locked eyes with him and said seriously,
“Sheng Sheng, call me. Just once. Then we’ll clean up the room. It’ll be quick.”
Chen Sheng’s eyes were already tinged with red.
Meeting the senior’s intense gaze, he mustered all his courage and said stiffly:
“Gu…”
But the moment he opened his mouth—Gu Zhen seized the chance.
Names could wait—he was already impatient.
He wouldn’t let this delicious treat slip away now.
Chen Sheng’s cheeks were flushed, eyes wide.
The next second, a large hand covered his eyes.
When their lips parted—As Chen Sheng panted for air, he heard the senior say hoarsely:
“Sheng Sheng, you’re supposed to close your eyes when kissing. How do you not even know that?”
Chen Sheng’s eyes were completely covered—the senior’s hand fit so perfectly he couldn’t see a thing.
But upon hearing that—His heart skipped a beat, and he quickly shut his eyes.
Then—The burning, entangling, suffocating kiss came crashing down again.
And Chen Sheng—Had no choice but to be swept along, pulled into it…
What he didn’t know was—The senior kissing him, Gu Zhen, was staring at him intently.
Half of Chen Sheng’s face was covered—Leaving only the flushed lower half exposed, along with that slender neck, covered in the marks of his possession.
Gu Zhen…
Was so excited he could lose his mind.
His Chen Sheng,
His Sheng Sheng—Was finally, completely, utterly his.
