Scarred Hearts — A Girls' Love Tale - Chapter 59
Yan Shuangfei was caught in endless waves of pleasure, unable to pull herself away. It was her first time experiencing such direct stimulation, and she was a little addicted. Luo Qinghan, rarely taking the dominant role, didn’t want to let her go so easily. So, the two of them tangled together on the bed for a long time, until Yan Shuangfei’s fingers couldn’t even move, only then did they stop.
Luo Qinghan turned over and lay on Yan Shuangfei’s chest, kissing her little by little, causing Yan Shuangfei to breathe heavily with desire. She reached out her fingers and gently touched the “masterpiece” the artist had left on Yan Shuangfei’s skin.
“Does it still hurt?” Luo Qinghan asked softly. With Yan Shuangfei’s heavy breathing, the long mark on her chest moved with each breath, pale and cold, the white scar hurting Luo Qinghan’s eyes.
Yan Shuangfei froze at the question, didn’t answer, just closed her eyes and enjoyed Luo Qinghan’s gentle touch. That warm hand roaming over her skin could easily stir wild waves inside her. Feeling wonderful, Yan Shuangfei turned comfortably in Luo Qinghan’s arms, pressing her cheek against the soft spot and gently rubbing it a few times, then moved her body, silently asking Luo Qinghan to continue.
Luo Qinghan happily obeyed, stroking Yan Shuangfei’s bare back. Yan Shuangfei slightly opened her eyes to look at Luo Qinghan. The cold, sharp look Luo Qinghan had when they first met — like a poppy, both mesmerizing and hurting — had softened. The chill in her eyes hadn’t disappeared entirely, but now they looked at her with tenderness like flowing water.
“Shuang’er,” Luo Qinghan said softly, her warm breath falling on Yan Shuangfei’s face. “Your wound…” She trailed off, even avoiding eye contact.
Yan Shuangfei sighed quietly inside. She had long expected that when Luo Qinghan made love to her, she would see those hard-to-hide scars. She knew Luo Qinghan’s heart wouldn’t feel good.
“It’s my fault…” Luo Qinghan murmured, tracing the scar again and again with her fingers, as if trying to remind herself.
“It’s okay.” Yan Shuangfei smiled broadly, teasingly touching the red mark on Luo Qinghan’s chest, then seriously said, “I understand everything.”
Yes, she understood.
How could she not know the artist was hired by Luo Qinghan? Back then, even the Han family only followed orders from the Luo clan. Without Luo Qinghan’s approval, how could the four great families have joined forces to hire the artist?
Luo Qinghan knew she would be in danger. She knew the artist was ready to catch her at any moment. Yet, before Yan Shuangfei could act, Luo Qinghan had already injured her.
But she didn’t blame Luo Qinghan, really.
Countless days and nights they met—if Luo Qinghan truly wanted her dead, Yan Shuangfei would have died many times over. If Luo Qinghan wanted her dead, why would she leave those secret documents in the room they shared, documents that could easily expose her secrets if Yan Shuangfei found them?
Luo Qinghan shivered slightly when she heard this, silent for a long moment. She fluttered her lashes to hide her emotions. Yan Shuangfei quietly watched her, propping herself up with one hand. Her fingers wrapped around Luo Qinghan’s stray hairs, circling, letting go, circling again, and letting go.
“The situation got out of my control,” Luo Qinghan finally said. “I didn’t expect the person I hired wouldn’t obey orders. She had her own plans all along. She only agreed to work for us to make some easy money.”
Yan Shuangfei listened quietly, said nothing, but hugged Luo Qinghan even tighter, as if trying to meld their bodies into one.
Luckily, I still have the strength to hold you.
Yan Shuangfei thought to herself and then, breaking the heavy mood, said with a slightly lighter tone, “So, I still owe the artist a favor.”
“What kind of favor?”
“To make you accept me completely.” Yan Shuangfei kissed Luo Qinghan’s forehead. “That’s a big gift.”
Some things can only be truly seen clearly when danger is at its worst.
Yan Shuangfei sighed without regret. “I have no strength left now.” She reluctantly pulled her hand back and placed it neatly beside her. “Next time, next time, I’ll demand plenty!”
Luo Qinghan blushed from her bold words, a little annoyed, and said, “I won’t allow it.”
She thought being the dominant one wasn’t bad after all. Seeing Yan Shuangfei act so arrogant but obedient when beneath her—following her rhythm and mood—that feeling was great. Luo Qinghan began to understand why Yan Shuangfei always demanded so much.
“Mr. Han,” a man respectfully said. Han Yu looked down at him coldly. The man bowed his head low.
“Are you sure the person who asked you was Yan Shuangfei?” Han Yu’s tone was flat, showing no emotion.
“Absolutely sure.” The man’s forehead was sweating, and the sweat dripped down his face.
“Good.” Han Yu nodded with satisfaction. “I knew Yan Shuangfei would come, and she has no choice but to come.” He sneered at the man. “Since she’s coming anyway, I might as well tell her part of the truth.”
“Mr. Han is right.” The man quickly agreed.
“If I tell her part of the truth, I’ll wait for her to take the bait and go do the hard work for me.” Han Yu sat down, the man bowed even lower. “What do you think?”
The man snapped back to reality. “What if Yan Shuangfei doesn’t follow the info I give her?”
“Then force her to try.” Han Yu said impatiently, waving the man out.
The man breathed a sigh of relief like being pardoned, wiped the sweat from his face, and hurried to the door.
A gunshot rang out.
It wasn’t loud because a silencer was used. Han Yu calmly took off the silencer and picked up his phone. “Send a few people up here to handle this.”
At this point, Han Yu wouldn’t allow any mistakes.
“Oh.” Ying Sha sneered, watching Yan Shuangfei walk around holding her waist for days. “Living well, huh? Always in the arms of love—you’re not afraid of drowning?”
Yan Shuangfei felt awkward and wanted to ask a doctor, or ask Luo Qinghan, hoping someone would help her out and stop Ying Sha from saying more sarcastic things.
“I won’t tease you anymore!” Ying Sha quickly put on a serious face, cursing Yan Shuangfei inside for being so shameless—always acting like a little kid who tattles when faced with trouble. “The Han family has made their move.”
