Seducing Him - Chapter 52
The room was enclosed with bare walls, similar to the third-floor art studio. However, the transparent display cabinets on the counter did not contain butterfly specimens or colorful oil paintings. Instead, they held used objects.
Some were items she had used, discarded, or thrown away in the past.
Both memorable and forgotten items almost filled the entire room. Each transparent cabinet was marked with a date, a number, and even a handwritten label in bright red.
Ci Yiyang hadn’t expected to find these things inside. She walked in, stunned, and stopped in front of a cabinet, distractedly reaching out to touch the handwritten labels.
“The pearl hairpin my sister wore the first time she seduced me: So pretty, I love it. It’s like her eyeballs. I wish I could lick them, but it’s a pearl.”
She had worn that hairpin the first time she agreed to live in the mansion and tried to seduce Lu Jin by lying on his bed. She felt disgusted after touching Lu Jin, so she threw it into the trash with disdain when she got back. Now, it was in a display cabinet.
A red circle was drawn next to the label.
He had only licked her eyelashes and eyelids but never her eyeballs.
“The black lace lingerie set my sister wore the second time she seduced me: She looks so good in black, I love seeing her in it, but I want to rip it off her when we make love.”
She had worn that lingerie the first time she entered his bathroom, deliberately leaving it in a corner to tempt him. He never mentioned it, so she had forgotten about it.
Now, a bright red check mark was drawn next to the label.
Ci Yiyang’s eyes shifted as she read each label.
“My sister’s third time seducing me…”
“My sister’s fourth time seducing me…”
“My sister’s fifth time…”
Her used earrings, her underwear she thought the maid had thrown away… and even the ill-fitting, carelessly used condom from their first encounter. Everything was stained with filth, and he had soaked them in some unknown liquid, displaying them like treasured possessions.
The more recent the items, the fresher her memory of them. The number of check marks next to the labels also increased, as if a boy’s innocent dreams had come true one by one. She had already experienced everything that was checked off.
So, she also saw some of his strange and eagerly anticipated descriptions of things that hadn’t happened yet, like ‘trampling’ and ‘facial sitting in the living room’…
The entire room was covered with his abnormal, sick affection.
And this scene of a perverted collection paled in comparison to the countless surveillance screens hanging on the wall, which terrified her even more.
Ci Yiyang stood frozen in place, her eyes trembling as she looked up at the monitors.
The center screen showed her room, with every detail clearly magnified.
It wasn’t just her room. The bathroom where she had changed and showered to get close to him was also on display. Everything was exposed on the screens without any privacy.
A single sofa was placed directly beneath the monitors, suggesting someone sat there, watching the footage. Every night, every hour, every second she was in her room, she was being silently watched from a hidden corner.
Her intuition had been right all along. Someone was watching her from a place she couldn’t see.
Lu Jin…
Ci Yiyang stared intently at the foggy bathroom on the screen and then uncontrollably backed away, her body stiff.
The person who was showering inside seemed… to have disappeared.
When did he disappear?
It seemed there was no one in there since she came in and saw these things.
Ci Yiyang felt her scalp tighten until her nerves started to go numb. She couldn’t stand it for another second and turned to rush out.
But when she reached the door, her trembling legs weak, and tried to escape, the door that usually opened with her fingerprint seemed broken. No matter what she did, she couldn’t open it.
It won’t open, it won’t open… How could it not open?
Ci Yiyang stared at the beeping door, frantically trying to open it, until a pair of slender, pale hands reached out and gently held hers.
“Where are you going, sister? Don’t you want to sleep with me tonight?”
Ci Yiyang raised her clear, trembling eyes.
The boy, who had just stepped out of the bathroom, was leaning against the door frame, his eyebrows wet with mist, smiling as he looked at her. His cool tone was just like the day he first arrived, with a gentle, undisguised affection. The hand that touched hers was still warm and damp.
That warmth was so scalding that her breathing suddenly stopped, her mind blank. She didn’t know whether to confront him or keep trying to open the door and escape.
The things in that room had gone beyond anything she had known about Lu Jin, even to the point of fear.
No normal person would do something like this. She thought his collection of butterfly specimens in the art studio was already perverted, and she never imagined that one day, she would be one of the ‘butterflies’ he kept in a display cabinet for observation.
“I…” Ci Yiyang tried her best to suppress her panicked breathing, forcing a smile onto her stiff lips. “Lu Jin, I didn’t actually come here to do anything tonight. I have something to tell you. We’ve thought it over carefully, and our relationship isn’t right. So, I plan to break up with you for a while.”
“Break up?” His gaze fell on her tense lips, and he raised his voice in confusion. “What do you mean, sister? I don’t understand.”
“Break up means ending our relationship. Aunt Lu told me she isn’t going to marry my dad anymore, so you won’t be my brother either.” Her lips were pressed into a thin line as she desperately tried to pull her hand away.
The thought that her every move had been monitored since she moved in made her feel like a butterfly imprisoned in a glass case, waiting to be killed. She felt sick all over.
Even his warm hand felt slimy to her.
Lu Jin didn’t say anything. He just slightly turned his face and looked at the half-open door. His long eyelashes drooped, and his wet hair hid his expression in a dark shadow. No one knew what he was thinking.
Ci Yiyang’s lower back was pressed against the electronic lock. He had been silent for so long that she held her breath, her body involuntarily tensing up.
After a long time, the boy slowly turned his head. His thin eyelids were droopy, and his face was flushed from the steam. His scarlet lips let out a light ‘tsk’ that betrayed no emotion.
“Did you want to break up with me because you saw the things inside, or because of someone else?”
He seemed genuinely confused, his dark eyes staring unblinkingly at her.
The gentle facade in those eyes was gone, replaced by a cold, unsettling detachment.
Ci Yiyang’s heart pounded violently, each beat threatening to leap out of her throat as he stared at her.
The dark room, the boy with an impeccably clean aura, and the prolonged fear of being watched pushed her emotions to their peak.
“Lu Jin, let go of me first.” She suppressed her terror and couldn’t help but struggle to pull her wrist away.
Just as she was about to break free, his grip on her wrist suddenly tightened.
Lu Jin pulled her struggling hand up and pinned it against the door with one hand. He expressionlessly observed her panicked face. “Let go? Didn’t you actively pursue me, sister? And now you want me to let go? You have to give me a reason.”
Ci Yiyang was pinned and couldn’t move. She bit her lower lip and glared at him with her slightly red, teary almond eyes. “What do you think?!”
He knew what he did, and he was still asking her for a reason.
The thought that her every move had been under his watchful eye every day she lived here made her feel utterly unclean.
“What do I think?” He raised his beautiful brow bone and leaned in, his nose touching hers as he looked her in the eyes. His voice was as gentle as usual.
“Since you want me to say, then let me guess. You’ve been lying to me all along, haven’t you, sister? You didn’t want your father to remarry. To break them up, you approached me, intending to reveal that we had slept together at your father’s engagement party. You wanted to disrupt a marriage you felt should never happen. But since your father’s car accident, the woman he was supposed to marry came to you and said she was no longer going to marry him. So now you don’t need me anymore and you’re in a hurry to get rid of me.”
“Am I right?” He lightly rubbed her nose, his intimate tone like a lover’s whisper. “But how can you be sure I’ll let you go? What if…”
“What if I don’t want to let go and decide to kill you?”
His last words were very soft, but they sent a shiver down her spine, like a poisonous snake wrapping around her.
“What… do you mean?” Her voice trembled at the end, and fine cold sweat beaded on her forehead as she stared at the boy who was smiling, seeming innocent and harmless.
“I mean, I love you very much, sister, and I can’t leave you.”
Lu Jin gently took her face in his hands, his snow-white features looking like a piece of unadorned porcelain, so clean that even his aura seemed transparently white.
“So, sister, we have to stay together until we get married. We can’t be apart.”
When she heard him say marriage, Ci Yiyang looked at him in disbelief. “You’re crazy!”
How could she possibly marry him?
“Hm…” He gently picked her up and looked down, his eyelashes lowered. “You haven’t even tried it yet, sister, how can you say I’m crazy? From the first moment I saw you, I knew that I, and only I, would be the one to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Ci Yiyang was thrown onto the bed.
The boy leaned over her, kneeling on the bed. His gaze lingered on her pale thighs, which were exposed as her skirt lifted with the movement. He unhurriedly untied his bathrobe with one hand.
“Lu Jin.” She panicked and instinctively tried to crawl toward the edge of the bed.
Just as she was about to touch the edge, a pair of hands reached out from behind her and, with a very gentle force, grabbed her slender ankles and began to pull her back.
After dragging her back, the boy took a tie from the bedside drawer with one hand and bound her frantically struggling hands.
Once she was completely unable to move, he leaned in and pressed his forehead against hers, lightly rubbing her face with his nose. “Why are you running? Didn’t you say you liked me and wanted to be with me, sister? I feel the same way. Look, every time you get close, I get so excited that my body trembles uncontrollably.”
He held his left hand in front of her for her to see.
Ci Yiyang stared at his constantly shaking hand, a reflexive response to being overly excited.
She had noticed before that he often lost control for no reason, but she never imagined it was for this reason.
Seeing that she had noticed, he lovingly cupped her face again. The boy’s face, which had been so reliant on her like an older sister, finally showed a pure, innocent smile. “Sister, I have loved you since the first moment I saw you. I was born to exist for you.”
“Because I love everything about you, sister, I have also given you everything about me.”
“Sister, so we can’t be apart. We have to be together, always and forever…”
