She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 17
After returning home, everyone went to their own rooms, and no one said anything. Everyone needed some time to process the events of the day.
As usual, Shen Yilan locked the door, pulled the curtains, and started practicing mental control techniques again.
The next morning, when she woke up, an uninvited guest had arrived at the house.
Shen Yilan walked downstairs and saw a sexy woman sitting in the living room, acting like the mistress of the house. Fu Yinxuan was sitting in the dining room eating breakfast, ignoring the woman in the living room.
Shen Yilan didn’t plan to acknowledge her either. She went straight to the dining room, sat down across from Fu Yinxuan, and a servant placed a bowl of hot porridge in front of her.
“Good morning, brother,” Shen Yilan said with a smile.
Fu Yinxuan glanced at her and responded, “Morning.”
“Eat slowly, brother, don’t choke,” Shen Yilan said with a mischievous smile.
“Mm-hm, cough, cough…” Fu Yinxuan coughed as soon as he tried to answer.
Shen Yilan looked at his funny expression, a hint of amusement flashing in her eyes.
The woman in the living room finally noticed Shen Yilan and stood up, walking toward the dining room. She gave Shen Yilan a condescending look, sizing her up.
“Yinxuan, whose child is this?”
Fu Yinxuan didn’t even look at her. “My family’s.”
The woman froze for a moment, then gave Fu Yinxuan and Shen Yilan a disdainful glance. It seemed like Jingsheng had picked up another child—tch, just another wild kid.
“Little one, can you tell me your name?” The woman asked, pretending to be the caring big sister, as if she had just noticed someone had come downstairs.
Shen Yilan raised a smile and said, “Hello, Auntie, my name is Fu Yilan.”
The woman almost lost her smile. This wild kid really had no manners. “Auntie”? She was only twenty-five! Why call her Auntie?
“Can I call you Lanlan, sweetie?” The woman forced a smile, trying to hide her irritation.
“Sure, Auntie. By the way, Auntie, did you put chalk on your face? I’m eating breakfast, could you move a little further away? I’m afraid the chalk dust might fall into my porridge. The teacher says chalk isn’t for eating. If I eat it, I have to go to the hospital,” Shen Yilan said innocently with a bright smile.
The woman struggled to keep her patience. Was this kid even capable of talking properly?
“Why are you here?” Fu Jingsheng walked into the dining room just in time to hear Shen Yilan’s comment. He turned to look at the woman, his brow furrowed slightly.
“Jingsheng, I heard you came back from your business trip, so I came to see you,” the woman said, giving a gentle and graceful smile that almost made Fu Yinxuan and Shen Yilan roll their eyes.
“Mm.” Fu Jingsheng gave a simple response and sat down next to Shen Yilan to eat his breakfast.
“Jingsheng, is this little one your newly adopted child?” The woman asked, as if she didn’t know the answer.
“Dad, is this Auntie your girlfriend?” Shen Yilan took the woman’s words and asked with a blink of her big innocent eyes, looking at Fu Jingsheng.
Fu Jingsheng froze.
“You called me what?”
“Dad!” Shen Yilan smiled sweetly.
“No.” A smile appeared on Fu Jingsheng’s face.
“So, she’s just your friend then?” Shen Yilan asked again.
“Not exactly,” Fu Jingsheng glanced at the woman and said.
“Then why is she in our house?” Shen Yilan asked, confused.
“Alright, just eat your breakfast. Too many questions, and it’ll get cold,” Fu Jingsheng said.
The woman’s face darkened. She felt extremely embarrassed. This little kid was really annoying!
