She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 19
“You’re not afraid Fu Uncle will find out and scold you?” Zheng Qi joked.
Fu Yinxuan shrugged, then sat down at the nearby computer next to Zheng Qi. He picked up Shen Yilan and placed her in front of the empty computer next to him.
After turning on the computer, Fu Yinxuan joined them for a round of “Chicken Dinner” (a battle royale game).
Shen Yilan sat there, bored, watching them finish a game. Without asking, it was clear they didn’t win the “Chicken Dinner.”
“Brother, can I play with your phone?” Shen Yilan asked.
Fu Yinxuan glanced at Shen Yilan, seeing that she was clearly bored. With a sigh, he unlocked his phone and handed it to her.
Shen Yilan scrolled through the main screen and found a game called “Glory,” then tapped to open it.
Hearing the sound, Zhou Yahuan was surprised and asked, “You’re letting a six-year-old kid play on your account? Aren’t you worried about being reported?”
Fu Yinxuan glanced at Shen Yilan, who was already selecting heroes for a ranked match.
“It’s fine, if we lose, we can just play again. If we get reported, we’ll just have to play more matches,” he said casually.
Zheng Qi couldn’t help but comment, “So brave…”
Shen Yilan stared at the hero icons. She had never played this game before, but she had often heard people talk about it in her past life. It seemed like a lot of people played it.
After searching through the hero pool, Shen Yilan saw an icon for a hero named Li Bai, who looked good, so she clicked on it and confirmed.
Immediately, harsh comments filled the game chat.
“Is this guy on the fifth floor an actor? I already said I’m jungling and picked Lanling Wang, and then this guy picks Li Bai! Is he trying to ruin the mood? Probably didn’t even finish elementary school! I’m reporting him!”
Shen Yilan turned to Fu Yinxuan, who was still playing “Chicken Dinner,” and asked, “Brother, someone is talking to you. Is he scolding you?”
Shen Yilan had never played games before. In her past life, she was always supervised by Mr. and Mrs. Shen, studying academic subjects, and in her free time, learning arts like music, chess, and calligraphy. She never had time for games.
Fu Yinxuan was speechless.
“He’s not scolding me; he’s scolding you.”
“Why is he scolding me? How does he know I didn’t finish elementary school? Can this game tell how many grades people have completed?” Shen Yilan didn’t understand—why would anyone insult someone while playing a game?
“Uh…” The three people who were playing “Chicken Dinner” didn’t know how to respond.
“Don’t mind him. People like that are just clowns,” Zheng Qi said.
“Okay!” Shen Yilan nodded with a smile.
As the game began, Shen Yilan hit everything she could. By the time she reached level 4, she looked at the mini-map, clearly puzzled by the moving hero icons in the rectangular frame.
“Brother, how do you play this game?” Shen Yilan asked.
Fu Yinxuan was confused. “Aren’t you reborn? Didn’t you play games in your past life?”
He grabbed Zheng Qi’s phone from the table, signaling Zheng Qi to unlock it. Then, he opened a few tutorial videos about the game and placed them on the desk in front of Shen Yilan for her to watch.
As Shen Yilan played while watching the videos, she quickly understood how the game worked.
Shen Yilan was incredibly quick to learn and very smart. After watching the videos for a bit, she started playing like a pro.
“Hmm? It was like playing against bots before, but now it’s so smooth. Could it be that a real adult is playing now? Maybe the kid handed over the controls?” A teammate’s confused voice was heard.
Then, the game broadcast announced: “Double kill, Triple Kill, Quadra kill, Penta kill, Rampage, Unstoppable, Godlike, Aced.”
The game’s announcements caught Fu Yinxuan and his teammates’ attention.
“Holy cow! Li Bai is a god! When I entered the game, I clearly saw it was a green marker, but now he’s so strong! I’m sure an adult took over playing!” one teammate said, excited.
Fu Yinxuan was also surprised. He usually played shooter roles in the game and had never played the jungler position.
He didn’t expect Shen Yilan, who was playing the game for the first time, to be so good just by watching a few tutorial videos. He was genuinely impressed!
