She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 20
“Is this really not a dream?” Zhou Yahuan stared in disbelief at Shen Yilan, who was seriously playing “Honor of Kings.” He raised his hand and slapped his own face. “Ouch… that hurts.”
“If your sister wasn’t so young, I’d recommend her for a career in esports. With this talent, it’d be a waste if she didn’t pursue it,” Zheng Qi said regretfully. Unfortunately, she was only six years old—too young.
After leaving the internet café, Zhou Yahuan suggested they check out the arcade. Fu Yinxuan glanced at Shen Yilan, whom he was holding by the hand, then looked at the high sun in the sky.
“Let’s find a place to eat first. It’s already noon, and little Yilan still needs to grow,” Fu Yinxuan said.
Zhou Yahuan checked his watch. It was already past one o’clock. They had been so focused on gaming that they had forgotten about lunch.
“Sure, how about that western restaurant we went to before?”
Zheng Qi nodded and agreed. “That place really does have good food.”
“Let’s go then,” Fu Yinxuan said indifferently.
Shen Yilan looked at the three tall guys, all about 1.75 meters tall. How did they grow so tall? They were only sixteen years old and already so tall!
“Brother, carry me. I don’t want to walk, I’m tired.” Shen Yilan, always preferring not to walk when possible, opened her arms and looked up at Fu Yinxuan expectantly.
Fu Yinxuan sighed and picked her up, walking toward the western restaurant with Zhou Yahuan and Zheng Qi.
At the restaurant, they chose a seat by the window, ordered some signature dishes, and then the three of them pulled out their phones to play “Honor of Kings.”
Fu Yinxuan glanced at his rank, then opened his match history. He stayed silent for a moment. Ten games, not a single loss. Each game was about ten to fifteen minutes long, and he had played as Li Bai in every one of them.
“Yinxuan, how did you go from 25 stars to 35 stars in “Honor” so quickly? Wasn’t it just yesterday you were at 25?” Zhou Yahuan asked in surprise.
Fu Yinxuan looked at Shen Yilan, who was sitting beside them, lost in thought. “She just played. Ten games as Li Bai, 100% win rate.”
Zhou Yahuan and Zheng Qi were speechless.
“Holy crap!” they both said at the same time.
Is she even human? A six-year-old child, playing for the first time, and got a 100% win rate with Li Bai in ten games? This was enough to make them, the experienced players, feel completely embarrassed!
Shen Yilan ignored them and kept her eyes on a nearby table.
A man, two women, and two children—a boy and a girl.
Shen Yilan eagerly watched the drama unfold, her heart racing and her hands trembling.
There was only one table between them, so the voices from the other table were easily audible. Since Shen Yilan was an ability user, her hearing and vision were sharper than normal.
From what she overheard, it seemed that the man and the woman beside him were married, and the little girl was their child.
The other woman, who was dressed simply, was the man’s one-night stand from the past. She had gotten pregnant and given birth to the little boy. The man had only just learned about his illegitimate son today.
The one-night stand woman, who was terminally ill, was worried about her son and didn’t feel safe leaving him behind. So, she approached the man’s family, hoping they would accept and raise the boy.
The man’s wife, however, firmly refused, saying there was no way they could take him in.
The little girl, looking at the little boy’s shabby clothes, showed clear disdain. She didn’t understand what an illegitimate child was, but she could tell that this boy was here to take her father away!
