She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 21
Shen Yilan stared seriously at the scene, thinking, this is really so melodramatic!
“Little milk bag, what are you looking at? It’s impolite to stare at people like that!” Zhou Yahuan, infected by Fu Yinxuan’s casual nickname, called Shen Yilan “little milk bag” as well.
Hearing the voice, Shen Yilan withdrew her gaze and shook her head, looking innocent. “I wasn’t looking at anything, cousin. I was just thinking!”
“Huh??” Zhou Yahuan twitched at the corner of his mouth. What’s there to think about for a six-year-old?
Shen Yilan didn’t respond further, as she had just had another premonition. She saw an image of what was about to happen: Fu Yinxuan had mentioned he needed to go to the restroom, and the path to the restroom happened to pass by the table where the melodramatic scene was unfolding. The lady, upset, grabbed a cup from the table and threw it at the sick woman. However, the cup missed and hit Fu Yinxuan on the head, causing him to bleed, and he collapsed to the ground unconscious.
As Shen Yilan came to her senses, she heard Fu Yinxuan announce he was heading to the restroom. Shen Yilan immediately jumped off the couch and said, “Brother, I’ll go too.”
Fu Yinxuan didn’t think much of it, and he took Shen Yilan’s hand as they walked toward the restroom. Just like in her premonition, as they passed the table, Shen Yilan saw the woman pick up the cup and prepare to throw it. However, she pulled Fu Yinxuan along, and they quickened their pace. This sudden acceleration meant they avoided the cup being thrown, narrowly escaping disaster.
Fu Yinxuan was startled by the sound of the cup shattering on the ground behind them.
He quickly turned around and felt a rush of fear. If Shen Yilan hadn’t pulled him faster just now, would the cup have hit him?
Fu Yinxuan paused, staring at Shen Yilan. Was that a coincidence?
It wasn’t just Fu Yinxuan who was shocked. The entire western restaurant was startled by the sudden loud noise, and everyone turned to look.
Zhou Yahuan and Zheng Qi quickly walked over.
“Yinxuan, are you okay? Are you hurt?” Zhou Yahuan asked, concerned.
Fu Yinxuan shook his head, signaling that he wasn’t injured.
The sick woman was also startled. Perhaps because of her illness and the emotional burden of leaving her child, she was so shaken by the incident that tears began to fall.
The lady who had thrown the cup stood up and sincerely apologized. Her eyes showed genuine regret as she said, “I’m so sorry for scaring you. Is anyone hurt?”
Fu Yinxuan looked at the lady politely and said, “It’s fine. I just hope you can calm down, madam.”
The lady smiled and nodded, then turned to the tearful sick woman and coldly said, “Do you really think I’m an easy target? You did this, you gave birth to this child, and now you need to take responsibility for your actions. You can’t just think you can dump him on us just because you’re sick. If you truly care about him, you should have left him with your own family. You’re forcing him into a life of being known as an illegitimate child. Are you really doing what’s best for him?”
The sick woman sobbed, choking on her words, “I just wanted him to have a father to take care of him. Madam, I didn’t mean for this to happen. It’s just that I don’t have much time left. Little Chen is bl00d-related to Mr. Qi. Please, I beg you, accept him!”
