She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 23
In the past, Shen Yilan’s father never married until the end of his life, and the eldest daughter of the Lu family, Lu Huaizhang, was also deeply devoted, waiting all her life without getting married.
Fu Yinxuan stood up, holding Shen Yilan, who was engrossed in gossiping about Fu Jingsheng, and walked toward Fu Jingsheng.
“Dad.” Fu Yinxuan called out.
Fu Jingsheng glanced at Fu Yinxuan and the Shen Yilan in his arms, then looked over at Zhou Yahuan and Zheng Qi, who were sitting at the other table.
“Why are you only here to eat now?” Fu Jingsheng asked. He took Shen Yilan from Fu Yinxuan’s arms and let her sit on his lap.
“Ah, I didn’t keep track of the time, so we’re late.” Fu Yinxuan explained, then looked at Lu Huaizhang and said, “Aunt Lu…”
Lu Huaizhang smiled and nodded, then her eyes landed on the delicate little girl she was meeting for the first time. Shen Yilan looked like a pretty Barbie doll.
“I heard you adopted a little girl. So, this must be her. Hello, little one, I’m Lu Huaizhang,” Lu Huaizhang said warmly.
Shen Yilan nodded and gave a sweet smile, saying, “Hello, Aunt Lu, I’m Fu Yilan.” Compared to that woman from earlier who looked like she had layers of dust on her, Lu Huaizhang was much more pleasant to look at.
Lu Huaizhang didn’t pay much attention to the makeup, just some lipstick, as she didn’t need much embellishment—she was naturally beautiful.
“So, where did you go to play today, Xiao Lan?” Fu Jingsheng asked gently.
Shen Yilan glanced at Fu Yinxuan, who was signaling her with his eyes.
Shen Yilan smiled and said, “Brother took me to a place called an internet café. He even taught me how to play games, it was so much fun! In that game, I could hear strangers talking to me. All the brothers and sisters said I was a genius and even praised me, saying that even the stupidest players couldn’t play as well as I did!” She said it with an innocent, carefree expression.
Fu Yinxuan just wanted to sew Shen Yilan’s mouth shut. He suspected she was doing it on purpose!
Sure enough, after hearing this, Fu Jingsheng’s face darkened, and he gave Fu Yinxuan a reproachful look.
“How old are you? You’re already in high school, and your little sister is only six! She doesn’t understand anything, don’t you get that? You’re always hanging out in places where minors shouldn’t go, and I haven’t said anything about that. But now, you’ve taken her with you? And you even taught her to play games? She’s getting insulted, and you’re not even defending her? You really think you’re invincible now?”
Fu Yinxuan didn’t respond. In his mind, he cursed the whole Shen family, but he didn’t dare say anything bad about Shen Yilan. After spending time with her, he had come to see her as his own little sister and couldn’t bear to scold her. Since he couldn’t blame the Shen family, he just had to curse them instead.
Shen family members: Thanks a lot for that.
“Dad, I know I was wrong,” Fu Yinxuan lowered his head and admitted.
“Dad, after we finish eating, Brother said he’ll take me to the arcade! Brother is so amazing, he knows places I’ve never even seen!” Shen Yilan continued innocently.
Fu Yinxuan: Perfect!
Sure enough, just as Shen Yilan hoped, Fu Yinxuan once again received a lecture from Fu Jingsheng.
“Your pocket money for this month and next month is gone. And when we get home, you’re going to write a 2,000-character apology. How dare you take your little sister to an arcade? You really think you’ve grown wings and can fly just because you can flap a couple of times?” Fu Jingsheng said with a stern face.
Fu Yinxuan didn’t argue. He shot a glare at Shen Yilan. She’s just a little black-hearted troublemaker!
