She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 31
A person stood up, holding a small knife, and walked over to the man. With the flat side of the knife, they gently tapped the man’s face.
“When the girl inside begged for mercy, did you let her go?” A deep, low female voice echoed.
The cold blade touched the man’s skin, sending a chill down his spine. Fear and panic slowly surged within him.
“I know I was wrong, I know I was wrong! Please let me go! I’ll compensate her family! I’ll turn myself in to the police! Please, don’t kill me!”
At this moment, the man, fearing for his life, would rather turn himself in to the police than die. At least if he turned himself in, he might live and have the chance to hire a lawyer.
“So troublesome…” the girl murmured, “Let me see, did your hand touch her?”
Saying this, she plunged the knife into the man’s right hand with force, then swiftly pulled it out. Bl00d began to pour from the wound.
“Ahhh!” The man screamed in agony.
The girl casually grabbed an apple from the coffee table and shoved it into the man’s mouth. She then took the knife and stabbed his left hand with the same swift, cruel motion.
The man, overwhelmed with pain, was drenched in sweat.
The girl continued to cut into him, slicing the knife across his body, his face, and his legs…
Looking at the battered man, the girl was pleased with her work. Finally, she took the knife and drove it into the man’s lower body with all her strength.
As the man collapsed, unconscious, the girl pulled the knife out, stood up, and walked to the kitchen. She grabbed a fruit knife and drove it into the man’s heart, twisting it twice for good measure.
Just then, the girl’s phone rang. She removed her bloody gloves, took the phone from her coat pocket, and answered it.
“Hello? I’m out picking out a gift for my brother. I’ll be back soon! Dad must have forgotten that it’s my brother’s birthday today, right? Dad, you’re so talkative! I’m on my way back now!”
After hanging up, she returned the phone to her pocket, then slowly walked to the kitchen. With one gloved hand still on, she turned on the tap and cleaned the knife. After turning off the water, she removed the other glove, grabbed a few paper towels from the living room tissue box, and wrapped both gloves in them. Then, she vanished from the apartment.
Fu Yilan stood by the river, far from the apartment, and removed the shoe covers from her shoes. She wrapped them along with the gloves in the paper towels and threw them into the river.
This river was fifty kilometers away from the apartment.
Fu Yilan disappeared again.
She reappeared in a narrow alley near a shopping mall. The alley had no surveillance cameras, so no one would see her suddenly appear.
Fu Yilan walked leisurely out of the alley and headed toward the mall, entering a specialty watch store for men.
…
“Back already?” Fu Jingsheng, sitting in the living room watching TV, turned his head to see Fu Yilan walking in.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Fu Yilan smiled.
Fu Jingsheng was momentarily at a loss for words.
“Didn’t I tell you to always bring a bodyguard when you go out? It’s not safe here in the country. You watch the news every day, don’t you know there’s a wanted murderer who’s a national priority? What if you get targeted, and something happens? Do you understand how dangerous it is?” Fu Jingsheng lectured, his tone concerned.
“Alright, I know, I know. You’ve said that hundreds of times. Where’s my brother? Hasn’t he come back yet?” Fu Yilan answered and quickly changed the subject.
