She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 35
When Shen Ziyan heard the name “Fu Yilan,” a jolt ran through her. How could this new girl have the same name as the one who died ten years ago?
“Is she always this temperamental?” Shen Ziyan asked again.
Zhao Beiyi furrowed her brow, glancing at her. Why was this transfer student so chatty?
“She has a good temper. She gets along well with the classmates. We’ve known Fu Yilan since elementary school, and aside from a few new students, most of us have been with her for ten years,” Zhao Beiyi answered, her tone slightly impatient.
Shen Ziyan pressed her lips together and said, “But she just…”
“Do your family members know you’re so talkative?” Zhao Beiyi cut her off, clearly annoyed. “She just doesn’t like people sitting next to her. It bothers her when she’s trying to sleep. Look at the students around her—no one disturbs her.”
Seeing Zhao Beiyi getting upset, Shen Ziyan decided not to press the issue further.
After the first class, the students scattered—some went to the bathroom, others played games, and the class was filled with noise.
“Fu Yilan, your little brother is here with your drink,” a male voice came from outside the classroom.
The students seemed used to it by now.
Fu Yilan looked up, stretched lazily, and stood up, walking toward the door.
Shen Ziyan’s gaze never left Fu Yilan.
“Big sister, here you go!” A nine-year-old boy in a primary school uniform handed her a drink.
Fu Yilan looked at the boy. This was Fu Jingsheng’s younger brother and Fu Qin’s biological brother, Fu Ning. He was always attached to Fu Yilan, even though she was indifferent toward him. He still clung to her.
Fu Yilan took the drink and said in a cold tone, “Alright, go back.”
Then she turned to a few boys standing nearby and said, “Hey, you guys, take him back to the primary school.”
The boys exchanged looks. They had no choice but to help.
After watching them leave, Fu Yilan returned to the classroom. She walked in and cast a cold look at Shen Ziyan, who had been staring at her.
“Keep staring, and see what happens.”
Shen Ziyan was taken aback. The students around her noticed the tension, and the girl sitting next to her, Zhao Beiyi, quickly stood up and moved away, not wanting to get involved.
Shen Ziyan awkwardly looked down, avoiding Fu Yilan’s gaze.
“Hey, come on, Yilan, don’t scare the new girl. She’s just curious about you. It’s normal,” a boy walked over and patted Fu Yilan’s shoulder, joking.
Fu Yilan smiled lightly and looked toward the boy in the first row of the third group. “Class monitor, actually, Li Peng didn’t forget his homework. He never did it.”
The boy who had just patted Fu Yilan was stunned. He didn’t expect her to call out his bluff.
“Hey, hey, hey, Fu Yilan, that’s not fair! Class monitor, don’t believe her! I really forgot to bring it!” Li Peng protested.
The class monitor, Xue Xinxie, a neat and refined boy with glasses, adjusted his glasses and said, “If it’s done, go home during lunch break and bring it to me after school.”
Li Peng: At this moment, there’s a saying in Chinese I don’t know whether I should say or not.
Fu Yilan sat back down at her desk. She glanced at Lin Haoqin, who seemed uneasy. Lin Haoqin was a new student who transferred from another school, unlike the others who had been promoted directly to this one. He had only known everyone for just over a month since school started.
“Don’t be scared. I won’t bite. Just be quiet when I’m sleeping, and it’ll be fine,” Fu Yilan said with a smile.
Lin Haoqin didn’t expect Fu Yilan to speak to him. He was a little flattered.
Looking at Fu Yilan, his eyes sparkled in admiration. She was really beautiful. When she smiled, it was so bright and charming.
