She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 45
“Alian! Why are you ignoring me?!” Qi Xiyao, not getting a response, turned to Fu Yilan and said, with a slightly pouty tone.
Fu Yilan couldn’t help but feel defeated by her.
“Buy, buy, buy! How much is it, boss?” Fu Yilan asked.
The vendor smiled warmly at the two of them and said, “You two have great taste! These friendship bracelets are the best ones we have. This pair is a couple’s set, one black, one red. This style is perfect for young people like you. Not expensive, just 20 yuan.”
After scanning the QR code to pay, Fu Yilan said, “We’re just really good friends.”
Then she turned and walked ahead.
Qi Xiyao, holding the two bracelets in her hands, looked very satisfied and playfully said to the vendor, “She’s just a bit shy, thanks, boss!”
After saying that, Qi Xiyao chased after Fu Yilan.
The vendor watched the two girls walk away, his smile widening. Modern couples really have a lot of styles, don’t they?
“Alian, give me your hand!” Qi Xiyao called to Fu Yilan.
Confused, Fu Yilan extended her left hand. Qi Xiyao took the black bracelet and put it on Fu Yilan’s wrist.
Then she handed the red bracelet to Fu Yilan and said, “You put it on me!”
Without thinking much, Fu Yilan put the red bracelet on Qi Xiyao’s wrist.
Looking at the red bracelet on her own wrist, Qi Xiyao couldn’t hide her joy.
Fu Yilan, seeing Qi Xiyao’s sudden burst of happiness, was a little confused.
“Why are you so happy? Did you win a prize?”
Qi Xiyao shook her head with a smile and said, “No, it’s even better than winning a prize. We’re wearing couple’s bracelets… Now you’re my Alian, just mine!”
Fu Yilan raised an eyebrow, clearly not understanding.
“Only you get to call me Alian.”
Qi Xiyao smiled but didn’t respond. She knew Fu Yilan wasn’t getting it, but she wasn’t worried. She believed that if she kept working hard enough, one day, Alian would notice her.
After shopping in the busy district, Fu Yilan took Qi Xiyao out to eat and then dropped her off at the gates of the Qi family’s villa.
Suddenly, Qi Xiyao hugged Fu Yilan. Fu Yilan froze, feeling awkward. After a long moment, Qi Xiyao let go of her and turned, running into the villa.
Fu Yilan didn’t leave immediately. The hug had been too intimate, and she hadn’t quite recovered from it.
Qi Xiyao suddenly turned around. Her face seemed to bloom like a white magnolia flower. Her eyes, clear like green waves, were filled with warmth. The curve of her lips, perfect like a crescent moon, radiated joy and contentment. She looked like an angel, pure and holy, able to dispel all darkness and bring light wherever she went.
“Alian, good night! Message me when you get home!” Qi Xiyao smiled and said, then ran into the villa.
Fu Yilan stood there for a long time before finally turning and walking away. The streetlights illuminated her path as she walked slowly.
For some unknown reason, she lifted her left hand and looked at the black bracelet on her wrist. The corners of her mouth twitched slightly, showing a faint smile that even she hadn’t noticed.
Her sharp hearing suddenly picked up sounds of fighting up ahead. Fu Yilan lowered her hand and glanced ahead. A group of people seemed to be chasing someone toward her.
Fu Yilan wasn’t planning to get involved and was about to take another route.
