She Came From Hell (GL) - Chapter 51
“Ugh—” The students in the class exchanged knowing glances and started teasing Fu Yilan.
Fu Yilan was woken up by the noise. She sat up, looking at them with some annoyance.
“What’s all this noise about?!”
The students didn’t stop. In fact, they seemed even more excited.
“Yi-jie, Jiang Fan said he saw Yisao in Class One! Did you know about this?” Zhao Beiyi teased.
Fu Yilan paused for a moment, then frowned slightly. What was this? Qi Xiyao was in Class One? How could she be at their school?
Fu Yilan stood up and walked out of the classroom. At the entrance of Class One, she saw Qi Xiyao sitting in the third group, fourth row, surrounded by a group of boys, who were fawning over her.
A flash of displeasure crossed Fu Yilan’s eyes, and she didn’t even realize it.
Zhao Beiyi, Guo Junya, and a few other classmates followed her and leaned against the window of Class One to watch.
Fu Yilan didn’t enter or say anything. She just turned and started walking back toward her own classroom.
Zhao Beiyi and the others exchanged glances and quickly followed her.
Qi Xiyao seemed to sense something and looked toward the door, but Fu Yilan and the others were already gone. She blinked in confusion. She could have sworn she felt someone looking at her just now! Was it just her imagination?
“Yi-jie, aren’t you going to say hello to Yisao? I just asked the students in Class One, and they said Yisao just transferred here this afternoon. As soon as she arrived, the boys were already all over her!” Guo Junya said.
Fu Yilan walked on with a neutral expression and said in a calm tone, “Don’t call her that. She’s just a friend I grew up with, just like you guys. I’ve known you all longer than I’ve known her.”
Guo Junya glanced at Zhao Beiyi, who shrugged and spread her hands.
Due to Fu Yilan’s special physique, she was taller than most girls, about the same height as the average boy—1.75 meters. Among the girls in her class, she stood out, and with her celebrity-like face and reputation, wherever she went, she attracted the attention of passing students.
In the afternoon, as Fu Yilan was about to leave the classroom, she saw Qi Xiyao standing at the door. Fu Yilan was planning to act like she didn’t see her and leave through the back door.
“Alang!” Qi Xiyao called out with a smile.
Fu Yilan: I really want to escape, but I can’t.
Reluctantly, Fu Yilan walked toward the podium and exited from the front, as the students around her began to tease her again.
Fu Yilan ignored them and walked out, while Qi Xiyao hurriedly caught up, linking her arm with Fu Yilan’s.
“Alang, don’t you have any questions for me?” Qi Xiyao asked, looking up at Fu Yilan as they walked through the campus.
Qi Xiyao, at 1.65 meters tall, was half a head shorter than Fu Yilan. Due to her frail health, she appeared somewhat weak, giving off a delicate and fragile vibe.
Fu Yilan didn’t say anything.
Qi Xiyao pouted and then continued speaking on her own. “I wanted to be closer to you, so I had my parents transfer me. I originally wanted to be in your class, but it’s already full. Other classes are full too, but Class One had a spot, so I had to go there.”
“But the classmates are really nice! They were so caring and liked me as soon as I arrived! I made a lot of new friends on my first day. Alang, I’m so happy!”
Qi Xiyao didn’t have many friends at her previous school because she often had to attend performances. She only went to school when she had free time.
As a result, she wasn’t very familiar with her former classmates, and because she was a piano virtuoso, they all thought she was unapproachable, which made them even less likely to try to get close to her. This left Qi Xiyao without friends. Over the years, Fu Yilan was her only true friend.
