Sir, You've Got The Wrong Person - Chapter 2.2
But just as she reached it, a white silk ribbon shot out from behind. Before she could react, it had already wrapped tightly around her waist. Yan Yiyi’s reflexes were sharp—she turned around, gave the ribbon a sharp tug, and snapped it apart.
Before she had time to think, another ribbon flew at her, coiling around her waist once more. This time, before she could break free, the ribbon tugged her backward—straight into Chu Mufeng’s arms.
“We just got married, wife. Where do you think you’re going? ” Chu Mufeng’s long fingers gently lifted her chin. His lips curled into a graceful, faint smile, but his dark eyes held nothing but cold indifference.
“Where else? I’m trying to run away, obviously!”
Now that she was caught again, Yan Yiyi stopped resisting. She glared at him with eyes full of defiance. Chu Mufeng smiled gently but didn’t say anything. Instead, he reached out and untied the silk ribbon that was wrapped around her.
As soon as Yan Yiyi was free, she raised her hand and wanted to fight back, but Chu Mufeng pressed her throat before she could.
“I was just making a little joke, and you’re so scared? Weren’t you fearless when you were secretly following me?” The lazy voice still carried the usual smile, but with a hint of coldness and sarcasm, and even the eyes were slightly cold.
Yan Yiyi pursed her lips and didn’t respond. If she knew that following him would bring her such trouble today, she would never have been curious and tried to find out his details again, and again. Today, she was like a tiger in a plain and bullied by a dog. She accepted the defeat, but she didn’t expect that the first time she got into the bridal sedan, she would personally send herself to the wolf’s den.
A joke? Yan Yiyi scoffed silently. Did he think she was a gullible child? That murderous aura earlier was anything but a joke.
Chu Mufeng noticed the look of defiance still lingering on her face. His eyes drifted downward—to her belt.
Yan Yiyi followed his gaze down and said, “What do you think you’re doing?”
Chu Mufeng gave her an innocent smile: “It is our wedding night; what do you think I want to do?”
As she spoke, the hand that was casually playing with the belt exerted a little force, and it was pulled off and fell to the ground.
Her heart dropped as Chu Mufeng tapped her pressure point. Yan Yiyi didn’t expect that he would suddenly use this trick; at this moment, she was paralyzed by the acupoint and couldn’t move. She could only glare angrily at the seemingly harmless man in front of her with her beautiful eyes.
“Chu Mufeng, you know very well that I am not your bride…”
“…”
Chu Mufeng smiled, and his hands had swiftly taken off his coat without paying any attention to Yan Yiyi’s flushed face. He picked her up sideways and gently put her on the bed. Then he stood up and slowly began to take off her wedding dress.
“Chu Mufeng, you…don’t mess around. What happened today was just a misunderstanding. It’s really just a misunderstanding.”
Seeing that Chu Mufeng seemed to be serious, Yan Yiyi became a little nervous, and even her voice trembled slightly.
“……”
Chu Mufeng looked at her with a smile and had neatly taken off her wedding dress.
Yan Yiyi was about to breathe a sigh of relief when she saw Chu Mufeng was sitting on the edge of the bed, slightly bending down to look at her, as his other hand was gently caressing her face.
“Honestly, according to the original script, the bride was supposed to run away halfway, but since you were so eager to step in personally, and considering how you’ve been following me around insistently lately, it seems you must be quite like me. I can’t let you down, can I?”
While speaking, Chu Mufeng had already leaned down, whispering in her ear. His eyes were fixed tightly on her, and his warm breath was brushing against her ear, sending a tingling sensation.
“You’re talking nonsense. Do you think I want to follow you? If it weren’t for… if it weren’t for…” Yan Yiyi abruptly stopped mid-sentence, pursing her lips and saying nothing.
“Or what?” With a slight raise of his eyebrows, Chu Mufeng seemed very interested in her answer.
Yan Yiyi still sealed her lips in silence, but her cheeks unconsciously turned slightly red.
“You are not going to say anything?” Casually glancing at her slightly flushed face, Chu Mufeng’s gaze moved downward, landing on her gently rising and falling chest, as his hand that had been caressing her cheek began to wander downward.
“You dare!” Noticing his intention, Yan Yiyi angrily retorted.
Chu Mufeng gave her a slight smile, his eyes turning cold. He grabbed her collar and forcefully pulled it down, tearing her undershirt off her shoulder.
“At times like this, don’t question whether a man dares or not. The more you say he doesn’t, the more it provokes his instincts and desire to conquer, especially for someone like me who isn’t much of a gentleman.”
His long fingers wandered along her bare shoulder, sliding down to the rise and fall of her chest before stopping. Chu Mufeng looked at her, a smile still playing on his lips, and with a gentle yet icy voice, said,
“Tell me, why do you keep following me?”
