Stealing Moonlight (Lily ABO) - Chapter 11
“Th-this… isn’t this too underhanded? We’re from the same village, after all!”
“Oh, what’s the big deal? It’s good enough she wasn’t sold to a human trafficker! The Ling’er family are outsiders. If something really happened, what kind of waves could her parents stir up in our Ruan Family Village? The village chief already thinks she’s ruined our Ruan Family Village’s reputation. Besides, our Jingjing is a college student; she’s going to marry someone from the city. How can she be held back by such a mess?”
“Aunt, are you coming back for New Year’s this year?”
Li Ling’er and Ruan Jing were riding the villagers’ hand tractor to the county bus station this time. They hadn’t gone far when Ruan Jing saw Qian Zhaolei and the others speeding out of the cornfield on their bicycles, chasing behind and shouting.
“Yes, don’t worry. Aunt will definitely keep her promise to you. I’ll bring you something then.”
“…You’re all in cahoots.” Ruan Jing was so angry her teeth ached. The freshly applied inhibitor patch was useless; the scent of wheat seedlings suddenly became overwhelmingly strong.
“Oh, college student, don’t be so gloomy.”
Li Ling’er always called Ruan Jing “college student” instead of her name, as if deliberately trying to embarrass her.
“So what if you’re a college student? In the end, you still fell into my hands!”
Ruan Jing suspected that was largely what Li Ling’er was thinking. She had earnestly corrected her several times, telling her to use her name, but Li Ling’er would agree readily yet steadfastly refuse to change, leaving Ruan Jing helpless.
At this moment, Li Ling’er leaned on the back of the tractor, smiling and waving goodbye to Qian Zhaolei and the other half-grown boys, telling them to go back quickly.
“Those little rascals truly lust after my body.”
Li Ling’er’s tone even held a hint of smugness. After saying this, she turned back to Ruan Jing. “Don’t you too?”
Ruan Jing didn’t want to engage with Li Ling’er anymore. She couldn’t win an argument with her and would just get needlessly angry.
She simply pulled out a thick book with foreign characters from her army-green satchel and buried her face in it.
Seeing this, Li Ling’er simply tilted her head and began to examine Ruan Jing.
Everyone in the village cursed her as loose and a “maid with a lady’s body,” yet they had to admit she was beautiful. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have managed to lure so many men into her bed.
But in Li Ling’er’s eyes, Ruan Jing was the truly beautiful one.
Ruan Jing had broad shoulders, long legs, and a slender frame. Her face was small; Li Ling’er had noticed when she held it in her hand in the cornfield that it was about the size of her palm. Her features were exquisitely detailed yet flowed seamlessly, especially her eyes, which were remarkably heroic, vaguely resembling the spread wings of a hunting falcon. Though her lips were thin, when she was angry, she habitually pouted slightly, as if inviting a kiss, making her seem endearing in every way.
“What are you reading? What language is that? Can you understand all of it? When did you learn? Do they teach this in college too?” Li Ling’er didn’t watch for long before she couldn’t sit still and leaned close to Ruan Jing, asking endless questions, clearly teasing her.
Ruan Jing turned away, dodging Li Ling’er, and naturally didn’t answer. Li Ling’er wasn’t angry or annoyed. She simply tore off the inhibitor patch from her neck—the one Ruan Jing had given her.
Li Ling’er didn’t actually have any inhibitor patches. By rights, every Omega, from the start of their differentiation period until they are fully marked, receives 15 inhibitor patch vouchers per month, which should be more than enough.
“Sold them.” Li Ling’er replied airily. When Ruan Jing asked her again, she simply pretended not to hear.
The strong, vanishing cream fragrance immediately assailed Ruan Jing’s nostrils. Li Ling’er’s right hand also deftly reached into Ruan Jing’s crotch. With just two gentle squeezes, that area immediately swelled.
“Let go of me!” Ruan Jing nervously gripped Li Ling’er’s wrist. Li Ling’er gasped in pain, but her fingertips were already slowly tracing the outline of the large bulge through Ruan Jing’s pants. She leaned over Ruan Jing’s arm, slowly pressing and squeezing with her br3asts.
“Didn’t get enough in the field last time, did you?” Li Ling’er whispered into Ruan Jing’s earlobe. “Don’t worry, aunt, this time I definitely won’t trick you.”
