Stealing Moonlight (Lily ABO) - Chapter 19
Along with Li Ling’er’s incredibly noisy but surprisingly amusing crying, Ruan Jing slowly recovered.
Li Ling’er noticed it too, but the energy supporting her didn’t immediately dissipate. Instead, she tiptoed, resting her chin on Ruan Jing’s shoulder, and her swollen br3asts naturally pressed against Ruan Jing’s chest, just perfectly brushing against Ruan Jing’s tender n1pples. A tingling numbness spread from the friction-rubbed tips.
Ruan Jing instinctively tried to push Li Ling’er away. Li Ling’er was already prepared, and she took the opportunity to tightly embrace Ruan Jing’s arm. Just as Ruan Jing was about to react, she suddenly noticed that the people surrounding them hadn’t dispersed; in fact, more were gathering.
Ruan Jing’s beautiful, eagle-like eyes swept over the onlookers with their various expressions. She parted her lips slightly, “Is it a good show?”
Those three light words were like throwing a firecracker into the crowd. The startled onlookers dispersed, fearing they’d be the next unfortunate victim if they lingered.
That beautiful young female Alpha, who could rival an Omega, had suppressed a male Alpha so much he didn’t dare move, and she hadn’t even torn off her inhibitor patch. They definitely couldn’t afford to provoke her!
The bus to the train station departed when it was full. Normally, Ruan Jing would have to wait for at least four or five buses before she could squeeze on.
But this time, before she and Li Ling’er even reached the bus, the crowd that had been tightly blocking the door immediately moved aside. A half-grown kid rushed to the front, occupying two rows of seats by himself, eagerly intending to show off to his parents. He was then sternly rebuked by his father.
“Get down quickly, you have no manners! How did I teach you at home?!”
The child was clearly frightened by his father’s sudden harshness and stood there dumbfounded.
“Oh my, what a good child. Why scold him? Sit, sit down!”
Li Ling’er, very much at ease, patted the boy’s shoulder and chatted affectionately with him for a couple of sentences, asking where he was from and what he planned to do at the train station.
The boy didn’t dare to speak, timidly looking at his father. His father, in turn, nervously kept glancing at Ruan Jing.
Ruan Jing didn’t know what to say. She wasn’t very good at interacting with people, so she just smiled at him. The father immediately pulled his wife and elderly mother onto the bus and started chatting with Li Ling’er.
By the time Ruan Jing had stuffed her luggage bag into the overhead rack, the father had already pressed the boy’s neck, making him kneel on the ground to kowtow to his newfound “godmother.”
“Oh my, it’s not New Year’s, why are you kowtowing!” Li Ling’er dismissed the matter with a few words. Ruan Jing couldn’t help but scrutinize her, and this time, Li Ling’er turned her head and caught Ruan Jing looking, leaving Ruan Jing no chance to deny it.
“College student, what are you looking at? No need to be sneaky. Tell your aunt, and aunt will let you look anywhere!” Li Ling’er said flirtatiously.
Ever since the small incident at the ticket counter, Ruan Jing couldn’t stop observing Li Ling’er.
The first two times Li Ling’er tricked her, Ruan Jing felt it was largely her own fault for being “blinded by lust,” and her tactics weren’t particularly clever upon closer inspection. But the recent incident, her meticulous planning, quick thinking, and ability to cry on command—an Omega who had never even left the village entrance of Ruan Family Village—handled things so flawlessly. Ruan Jing was truly curious.
After their fake engagement, many people in Ruan Family Village came to warn Ruan Jing, whether out of kindness or other intentions. Ruan Jing didn’t care.
However, the warnings were largely similar, mostly about Li Ling’er’s antics in bed: a supposedly good Omega whose morals were loose, who’d want to ride a p3nis the moment she saw one.
“Jingjing, you absolutely must think clearly, lest you end up with a mountain of cuckold’s hats without even knowing it!”
Only Ruan Zhengcheng was an exception. That day, he walked back and forth past Ruan Jing’s house several times. Liang Fengying even thought he was looking for trouble and almost chased him away with a broom. It was only when Ruan Jing asked him what was wrong that he grumbled and finally managed to blurt out, “Ling’er’s a little silly, you should treat her well in the future, don’t bully her.”
Li Ling’er silly? Then perhaps there wasn’t a single intelligent person in the entire Ruan Family Village!
