Stealing Moonlight (Lily ABO) - Chapter 9
“D-D-Dear in-laws, let’s s-s-set a g-g-good day, shall we?”
Li Jiahe, Li Ling’er’s father, was poked in the lower back by his wife. Though his face showed reluctance, he still bit the bullet and stammered this to Liang Fengying.
“The most important thing is to first make the betrothal gift, dear in-law, don’t you agree?” Li Jiahe’s wife added with a smiling urgency.
“You two can stop dreaming. As long as I live one day, that trash from your family will never enter our Ruan family’s door!”
Liang Fengying, standing in the clinic corridor, said this with a pale face but firm tone.
“Trash? Why is my daughter ‘trash’? Isn’t it because your daughter dragged her into the cornfield and ruined her?”
Li Ling’er’s mother immediately flared up upon hearing this. She was no pushover; if anyone so much as touched one of her family’s cornstalks, she’d curse them in the field for a day and a night. Being cursed directly by Liang Fengying was naturally unbearable, so she immediately raised her voice and yelled in the clinic.
“Good heavens, what kind of world is this? Evil people are in power! Everyone, come and judge! A college student is amazing, an Alpha is amazing, but she dragged my daughter into the cornfield and ruined her! My daughter is an Omega; in the city, without ‘three turns and one sound,’ ‘thirty-six legs,’ she can’t even get to meet anyone!”
Ruan Jing closed the consultation room door, shutting out the noise with a pounding headache.
She stood by the bed, looking down at Li Ling’er, who was still unconscious. Her head was wrapped in layers of bandages, still seeping bl00d. The excessive bl00d loss made her face and lips paler than the yellowed sheets beneath her.
Ruan Jing genuinely hadn’t expected such a seemingly fragile and harmless Omega to possess such a relentless drive.
The female Omegas at school were all like fruit candies, sweet and docile. Ruan Jing had never seen an Omega like Li Ling’er, who dared to gamble with her own life.
“I won’t marry you, but I can take you away.”
Ruan Jing spoke abruptly, completely disregarding whether Li Ling’er could hear her. “Tell your parents to go back.”
“Heh, if you marry me, you’ll naturally have to take me away,” Li Ling’er said faintly, her eyes still closed.
She was severely weak; even her pheromones were undetectable.
“If I marry you, I can take you away, and I can also make you bear litter after litter, like a rabbit, until you die, never leaving our village.”
“Ah, truly a college student. That little brain of yours really turns fast… Hiss!” Li Ling’er struggled to sit up from the bed. Ruan Jing stood by, watching coldly, showing no inclination to help.
Li Ling’er had hit her head quite hard; even the slightest movement caused her to feel dizzy and nauseous.
She only managed to sit up halfway before she couldn’t hold on, leaning against the headboard. She didn’t dare open her eyes, her throat bobbing as she swallowed intensely, her fingers clutching the bedsheet tightly.
The continuous cold sweat permeated her delicate skin, making it remarkably lustrous. Under the stark white light, it had a silk-like texture. More cold sweat gathered from her temples and chin, flowing downward along her collar into unseen depths. In no time, her hospital gown was half-wet and clung to her body, outlining her full br3asts and slender waist.
Ruan Jing didn’t want to look, but her eyes involuntarily darted to the small protrusions on her hospital gown, pushed out by her n1pples. Li Ling’er now smelled strangely sweet, like the scent of sweet sorghum stalks.
Before this, Ruan Jing had never known that “weakness” could possess such a pleasant scent.
The moment Li Ling’er opened her eyes, she caught Ruan Jing looking.
Though tears still lingered in her eyes, she immediately flashed a seductive smile, her gaze hotly falling between Ruan Jing’s legs. She even deliberately and slowly unbuttoned a button on her hospital gown, showing her br3asts to Ruan Jing.
Ruan Jing recoiled from the bedside as if struck by a whip.
“You tricked me!” Ruan Jing was now completely certain that Li Ling’er was intentionally trying to make a fool of her.
“College student, if you marry me, you can play however you want in the future.” Li Ling’er swung her br3asts at Ruan Jing. The bruised marks left by Liang Fengying’s kicking and hitting made Ruan Jing too guilty to look again.
“You’re dreaming.” Ruan Jing’s mouth was harder than her p3nis.
