Sunny Joy - CHAPTER 31
Song Ciyue wanted to struggle, but her hands were pinned to the top of her head by the boy. He kissed her urgently, again and again, lingering on the girl’s neck. Song Ciyue tried to pull her neck back, but it only fueled the boy’s desire to explore deeper.
He caressed her body, unbuttoned her shirt, leaving her upper body almost bare, and kissed other parts of her body.
But just as the other person was about to take the next step and unzip the girl’s pants, Song Ciyue instantly came to her senses and slapped the boy directly in the face.
“Are you awake?”
The boy didn’t say anything, keeping his head down, looking at the half-naked girl in front of him, his girlfriend, her curves fully on display.
Song Ciyue picked up the clothes from the floor, put them on one by one, and left directly.
Where’s the drunkenness? It’s clearly just the lower half that’s restless, but it did give her an idea.
The next day, the boy came to apologize to her: “Yueyue, I’m sorry, I was too impatient. I drank too much that day…”
Song Ciyue: “Just drank too much?”
“Also, because of a friend. That day, a friend said he and his girlfriend have no more secrets. I thought they hadn’t been together as long as we have, yet their relationship is progressing faster than ours, which made me quite frustrated, so…”
Upon hearing this, Song Ciyue’s tone turned sarcastic: “So this is how you see our relationship. Girlfriends are just for comparing who is more obedient. I’m not your possession, nor am I a tool for you to showcase your strength. I look down on you for this.”
In the boy’s eyes, anger flashed by, but he didn’t show it.
“I was wrong. Please be magnanimous and forgive me.”
“Alright, I have something else to ask you. Does your sister sleep with you?”
“What’s wrong? Don’t overthink it. She’s still young and likes to kick off her blanket, so we often sleep together. You were angry because of this? It’s all my fault for not realizing it sooner.”
Song Ciyue’s anger was surging inside her.
“Why couldn’t she sleep with her female relatives that day?”
Meng Ran said helplessly, “Her bed is small, it can’t fit two people.”
“Bed too small? Then why can’t the two of them sleep in your bed, and you sleep in the small bed, or your sister sleep by herself, and you sleep on the sofa?”
The boy was also angry: “Don’t think so dirty, okay? She’s my sister!”
“Meng Ran, do you understand the principle that boys and girls should sit separately after the age of eight?”
“That’s all feudal nonsense, okay? Can’t you stop thinking about things so dirty? Don’t look at my relationship with my sister through colored glasses!”
“Xu Qiaoqiao said that day that you were targeting her and even spreading rumors. At first, I didn’t believe it, but now I think you might actually be that kind of person.”
Song Ciyue couldn’t believe it: “Is this how you see me?”
The two parted ways unhappily again. The boy walked her to the dormitory building, and she had already gone upstairs. He stood there for a while before leaving, which she could see from the window.
Since then, for several consecutive days, the two of them have not seen each other or talked.
Her roommate noticed that she hadn’t gone out with Meng Ran these past few days and hadn’t talked about him either, so she asked, “Have you two had a fight recently?”
“Almost. Don’t worry, it’ll be fine soon, it’s not a big deal.”
Her roommate reminded her, “If you have something to tell us, I noticed you went out on Friday and came back to sleep directly at night. Don’t keep everything bottled up inside.”
Song Ciyue replied, “Okay, okay, okay, if there’s anything, I’ll definitely tell you.”
Wei Min has been having a rough time these past few days. Her senior is getting married, and her phone, for some unknown reason, keeps getting harassing calls, driving her crazy.
I just hung up the phone and ran into a shady guy on the street who asked if she wanted to hang out.
She frowned, what kind of person is this? She roughly understood the meaning behind the words, immediately fell silent, and quickly walked around him, not wanting to have more contact with such a person.
Not long after, Song Ciyue saw through the space that a girl really liked him. She recognized the girl; it was Xu Qiaoqiao. Meng Ran didn’t reject her advances, and their interactions looked like they were very close.
During this period, the two of them have been interacting more, and some people even asked him why he hasn’t been going on dates with his girlfriend lately, but he didn’t respond.
Meng Ran’s actions seemed to be saying that she should back down sooner; he had someone pursuing him, giving her a sense of urgency.
He thinks Song Ciyue can’t live without him, so he provokes her like this. He’s really manipulating Song Ciyue, and he has indeed succeeded.
She was triggered.
After the argument, the boy asked the girl out and handed her a bouquet of roses.
“Yueyue, I was wrong. I shouldn’t have said you were being unreasonable. But she is my sister, and there’s really nothing between us. Please believe me, I’m also very busy. Please understand, let’s not fight anymore, okay?”
Nothing? A sister adopted by the family like a child bride? At 18, still able to sleep in the same bed as her brother?
She didn’t believe a word he said.
It’s a pity, but who told her she couldn’t live without him? Even though she knows he’s a scumbag, she doesn’t want to let go. However, he still has to pay a price for his infidelity—never underestimate a woman’s desire for revenge.
Song Ciyue held a rose, her head lowered, her slightly long bangs covering the emotions in her eyes.
“Okay, I won’t make a fuss anymore.”
Meng Ran hugged the girl, a relieved smile appearing on his face. If this continued, he really wouldn’t be able to take it anymore. Fortunately, his girlfriend was quite understanding.
Song Ciyue also hugged the boy back, the corners of her mouth lifted, but the smile didn’t reach her eyes.
As usual, they went out to eat, shop, and watch a movie. It seemed like everything had really moved on, just like when a guy apologizes. At least that’s what Meng Ran thought.
After they parted ways, the boy didn’t walk her downstairs as usual but left early instead. Song Ciyue put away her smile and expressionlessly threw the glaringly red roses on the ground.
The roses scattered on the ground, but in her eyes, there was a fire, an intertwining of warm orange and deep red.
She is like a moth drawn to the flame, circling around it, rushing in, surrendering, giving her life to the flame; becoming ashes is the best ending for her.
Just get entangled, she will be tied to Meng Ran for the rest of her life.
Without a holiday, they went for a stroll in the nearest park, quiet and fresh, with few people coming and going, probably one of the rare pure lands in the city.
Passing by a certain place, Song Ciyue suggested taking a photo to commemorate the moment.
“Then I’ll take the photo for you, but my skills are average. If you’re not satisfied with the result, please don’t get upset.”
“It’s okay, I’m not angry. You go ahead.”
Song Ciyue stood in the spot she had chosen, posed for the photo, and waited for the “photographer” to find the right angle. The boy, holding his phone, stepped back, and without realizing what he had stepped on, he fell and ended up breaking his leg.
