Sylvie, the Slave Girl (Lily Futa) - Chapter 45 (pt. 2)
On the way back, they stopped at a dessert shop, buying sweets and small cakes.
Wei Qing felt tired and wanted to rest.
The afternoon sun wasn’t strong, warmly bathing them, the perfect temperature lifting her mood.
Wei Qing squinted contentedly, looking out the window.
“Feels like a dream… time flies, like it was just recently,” she says.
They sat in the same spot as their first visit.
“Four months,” Sylvie corrected her.
Wei Qing said “oh,” turning back, casually feeding Sylvie a bite of her different-flavored mousse.
“Okay, then, comrade, tell me your first impression of me,” she says.
The woman grinned, her eyelashes curving into half-moons, her light eyes brimming with curiosity.
Sylvie mirrored her smile, eyeing the spoon at her lips, taking it into her mouth.
The sweet cream melted quickly, making her squint slightly.
“First impression…” she said, voice muffled, pausing deliberately, her expression hesitant.
“Should I tell the truth?”
Wei Qing’s expression stiffened.
She touched her chin, leaning forward, frowning as expected.
“Why that phrasing? If the truth isn’t good, don’t say it,” she says.
Her voice held dissatisfaction.
Sylvie blinked, holding back a laugh.
She quieted for a moment, her voice softening.
“First impression… I was surprised, and… you’re very beautiful,” she says.
“Surprised? Surprised by what? That I’m beautiful?” Wei Qing asks.
Sylvie smiled softly, her eyes bright. “Yeah,” she says.
Fair enough, Wei Qing thought.
She hummed, her expression easing.
“… Isn’t that obvious?” she says.
