Takezawa's Ghost - Episode 13
Just being in a hospital makes me feel depressed.
It’s because they’re filled with all sorts of negative emotions. I think I saw something like that in a video.
I used to think that people who run occult channels were potential scammers who were just saying random things for money, but after being hospitalized for a week, I felt like I could agree with the theory of negative energy.
As usual, I look up at the ceiling of the hospital room, where there are no other patients except for me.
“…As I thought, it’s gotten bigger.”
The mold that was so small I didn’t even notice it when I woke up is getting bigger every day.
When I tried to ask the foul-mouthed (meaning it as a compliment) nurse for her agreement, she simply said, “Really? Maybe there’s something wrong with your eyes.”
 As expected, she is good.
It adds excitement to my boring hospital life.
When it comes to that, there are two possible scenarios.
Is it true that I’m the one who’s crazy? Is the hospital hiding something?
Dealing with that nurse is going to be a pain. I’m already broke.
I’ll ask Michi next time she comes.
,,…..
“…Hmm. It looks like a normal stain, but it’s gotten bigger since the beginning, right?”
“Yeah. Even when you look at it from in front of the ghost, do you sense any evil spirits?”
“Yeah… for now.”
So, maybe I’ve finally gone mad too.
“Sorry for asking such a strange question.”
“Hmm. But, I have a small favor to ask of you today…”
“What?”
 Michi looks down awkwardly.
“I want you to meet that boy.”
“good”
“Are you sure?”
Even though you were the one who made the suggestion and got such an unexpected reaction.
“I just wanted to talk to you.”
“Y-yes… Well, I already scolded you, so don’t scold me too much… No, I guess it’s natural for you to be angry. Umm, how should I put it, I wish you’d be a bit more conscious of braking.”
This is an unusually long sentence.
“It’s okay. It’s been two weeks. He’s not that angry anymore.”
“…In just two weeks?”
“Huh? Two weeks is a long time.”
With all this time on my hands, I don’t think I’m such a cranky person that I can’t tolerate a kid’s tantrum.
“Uh, yeah… then, I’ll call you.”
“Just hurry up.”
 A few seconds later.
The kid came through the window.
 Can it also fly?
As expected, it seems like it could be useful if I could get it in hand.
“Hey. Long time no see.”
“……Yeah”
 Again silence.
I know that nothing good will come from rushing things, so I decide to wait until the kid starts talking.
“……sorry”
 A simple apology.
Well, that’s good enough for a scumbag like me.
“Okay.”
I’ll also give a short reply.
“Eh…? Aren’t you angry?”
“Whatever. You’re just a kid. I hope there won’t be a second time.”
 yes.
 Kids make mistakes.
I read in a novel that it’s not good to blame someone more than necessary.
Besides, it seems Michi scolded him, too.
That would be an unnecessary comment from my perspective.
“But can I ask you something that’s been bothering me?”
“Wh-what?”
“If you have that much power, you can kill Aida-san without my help, right?”
In the first place, the reason I decided to help the ghosts get revenge is because they don’t have the power to curse and kill.
But this thing brought me to the brink of death.
If he could do that much, he thought, one would be plenty.
“…As I thought, the person who killed me is scary.”
“law”
“When I try to touch that man, I can’t stop shaking.”
 This was a blind spot.
Just as humans are afraid of the ghosts they have killed, ghosts are afraid of the humans who killed them.
Of course. Trauma doesn’t heal just by dying.
“I understand. I’ll cooperate again once I’m discharged from the hospital.”
“…Yeah. Thank you.”
And so, we made up for the time being.
No, there was nothing worth fixing, so we were only just getting acquainted now.
