After Lu Ningwan finished her IV drip, the teacher went in to remove the needle. Shen Tian did not forget to remind her thoughtfully, “Teacher, please be gentle when you pull it out. My Little Lu sister is afraid of pain.”

The teacher looked at Shen Tian expressionlessly. She had already been numbed by the affection these two sisters showed each other. “I know. You help hold it down for her. You won’t need to if there’s no bleeding in a bit.”

“Thank you, teacher.” Shen Tian immediately thanked her sweetly.

Once the teacher removed the needle, Shen Tian followed her instructions and pressed down on the small puncture site under the tape for Lu Ningwan. Lu Ningwan leaned comfortably in Shen Tian’s arms and watched as Shen Tian busied herself attentively around her. Lu Ningwan felt as sweet inside as if she had drunk honey.

“Little Lu sister, do you have any strength in you? Do you want me to carry you out?” Shen Tian asked with concern.

Lu Ningwan rubbed her head lightly against Shen Tian’s neck. “No need. I just feel a bit weak, but I can walk on my own.”

Lu Ningwan wanted to stick close to Shen Tian a little longer, but she also felt sorry for her sweet Tian Tian, who could not carry her. After all, Tian Tian had already broken out in a full sweat from carrying her over earlier.

“Mommy, Little Lu sister differentiated at school today. Luckily, they discovered it in time. I went with Little Lu sister to the infirmary.” Shen Tian explained as she carefully helped Lu Ningwan sit down to rest.

Lu Ningwan watched Shen Tian fuss over her so nervously, and tenderness overflowed in her eyes like water.

Lin Qinghan quickly asked, “Ningwan, is there anywhere that feels uncomfortable? Are you dizzy?”

Lu Ningwan shook her head. “It’s fine, mommy. I got an IV at school. I just feel a bit low on energy. I should be okay after resting for a few days.”

Just thinking about it made Lu Ningwan feel suffocated. How could her Tian Tian be lured away by someone else?

Lu Ningwan tilted her head up, and her nose tip rubbed lightly against Shen Tian’s neck. “Really? Then good. From now on, I’ll let Tian Tian hold me while I sleep, okay?”
