Lu Ningwan fixed her gaze on the painting. She reached out and lifted the layer of cloth covering it. What came into view was a girl who was concentrating intently on drawing. The girl had a slender neck, and her delicate face featured a pair of slightly alluring eyes. The corners of her eyes sloped downward just a bit, making her look even more pitifully charming. This person was none other than herself.

Lu Ningwan turned her face to look at Shen Tian, who was watching her from the side. She pursed her lips and smiled before asking, “When did you draw this? How come I didn’t know about it?”

Shen Tian took Lu Ningwan’s hand and shook it coquettishly. “I drew it secretly. I wanted to give Little Lu Sister a surprise. Little Lu Sister, did I draw it well?”

Lu Ningwan’s gaze softened even more. “It’s beautiful. Thank you, Tiantian. I like it very much.”

Shen Tian simply pulled Lu Ningwan into her arms. “I knew Little Lu Sister would definitely like what I drew! Little Lu Sister, is there any reward for me?” As she spoke, she looked at Lu Ningwan expectantly.

Lu Ningwan leaned against Shen Tian’s shoulder and looked at her own little puppy with amusement. Could she not understand what her little puppy was thinking?

Lu Ningwan reached out and poked her little puppy on the forehead. “What do you think about all day long?”

“I’m thinking about Little Lu Sister.” Shen Tian replied almost without thinking.

The smile at the corner of Lu Ningwan’s lips grew even wider. Her little puppy was too good at hitting straight balls, and she almost couldn’t handle it herself.

“Alright, go get that lipstick of mine from the bathroom.” Lu Ningwan directed Shen Tian.

The latter immediately fetched the lipstick from the bathroom obediently. She got it, but Shen Tian had no idea what her Little Lu Sister wanted to do with it.

Shen Tian simply voiced her confusion. “Little Lu Sister, what do you want lipstick for so late at night?”

Lu Ningwan held back her laughter and kissed her way down from Shen Tian’s forehead. She didn’t spare the sides of her face either. By the time she finished, her little puppy’s face was covered in lipstick marks. Lu Ningwan looked at her little puppy’s face and nodded in satisfaction.

Shen Tian was completely dazed. How many kisses had her Little Lu Sister just given her? Shen Tian felt like she had stepped into a pile of cotton, so happy that she was beside herself.

She lifted her misty eyes and murmured to Lu Ningwan, “Little Lu Sister? What was that just now?”

Shen Tian thought about it and muttered softly, “You can, but you still treat me like a little kid.”

Lu Ningwan ignored what her little puppy was muttering. She picked up her phone and snapped a photo of her little puppy’s face full of lipstick marks. She edited on a line of text: “I’m back from fooling around~”.

After finishing, she held the phone out for her little puppy to see. “Tiantian, see if it’s cute?” As she spoke, Lu Ningwan handed the phone to Shen Tian.

Shen Tian saw the emoji of herself with a face full of lipstick marks. She squirmed a bit and cried out, “Little Lu Sister, you learned bad things from mommy and bullied me.”

Lu Ningwan smiled, propped one hand against the wall, and gave her little puppy a wall slam. “Are you mad?”

Shen Tian shook her head. “No, it’s just… I feel like Little Lu Sister always treats me like a little kid.”

Lu Ningwan’s eyes drooped slightly, but she soon looked at Shen Tian again. “I hope more than anyone that you grow up soon. Alright, no more teasing. How about I help Tiantian wash her face clean?”

Shen Tian sensed that Lu Ningwan’s mood was off. She reached out and tugged at Lu Ningwan’s sleeve. “Little Lu Sister, I’m not mad. Don’t be unhappy.”

“I’m not unhappy. I also hope you grow up soon.” Lu Ningwan looked at Shen Tian with gentle eyes and brows. “Alright, Tiantian, come over here and lean in. I’ll help you wash.”

Shen Tian had no idea what was wrong with her Little Lu Sister. She just felt like she had said the wrong thing earlier. She obediently reached out to support herself on the sink and looked at Lu Ningwan.

Lu Ningwan first wet her hands with water and dampened Shen Tian’s face. Then she applied a layer of foaming facial cleanser. Afraid it wouldn’t clean thoroughly, Lu Ningwan applied the foaming cleanser twice. Once she had teased it clean for Shen Tian, she instructed her to go back and wash up first.

Shen Tian looked at Lu Ningwan and felt even more like she had said the wrong thing earlier. Back in her room, Shen Tian felt a bit irritated. She was a little annoyed. Little Lu Sister had just been joking with her, but she had made Little Lu Sister unhappy.

She buried her whole self under the covers, her little face scrunched up in annoyance.

“I’ll go check on her.” Lu Ningwan said as she went upstairs and knocked on Shen Tian’s door. When Lu Ningwan pushed the door open, she saw her little puppy lying on the bed listlessly.

Lu Ningwan curved her eyes slightly as she looked at Shen Tian. She walked over and patted Shen Tian’s back. “What’s wrong? You don’t even like custard buns anymore? Wang Auntie just said you barely ate anything. What’s going on?”

Shen Tian sat up and looked at Lu Ningwan. She hesitated for a moment but still asked, “Little Lu Sister, are you mad because of what happened yesterday?”

Lu Ningwan shook her head. She had wanted to touch the top of her little puppy’s head, but after thinking about it, she didn’t. She also needed her little puppy to see her own heart clearly soon.
