Teasing the Strawberry-Flavored Baby Alpha (ABO, GL) - Chapter 49
Chapter 49
After finally making it to noon, Shen Tian stumbled through answering a few of Shen Xian’s questions. For the first two, she managed to weave some convincing responses, but she faltered on the later ones, hoping to charm her way through.
Seeing that her little one had genuinely studied all morning, Shen Xian let Shen Tian go find Lu Ningwan.
Over at Lu Ningwan’s side, Lin Qinghan was still explaining a problem to her when Shen Tian knocked on the door and walked in.
Seeing Lu Ningwan, Shen Tian’s face lit up with joy. “Mommy, Little Sister Lu, it’s noon already. Let’s take a break.”
Lin Qinghan looked at her little one’s expression and nodded. “Alright, you two can rest for a bit. Go eat with Tiantian. We’ll pick up the rest this afternoon.”
“Okay, Mommy,” Lu Ningwan replied, chuckling as she glanced at Shen Tian. Was her Tiantian really an Alpha? A clingy strawberry Alpha?
Shen Xian had an assistant bring up some food, and Shen Tian and Lu Ningwan headed toward Shen Xian’s office.
Halfway there, Lu Ningwan felt the little puppy secretly poking her finger. She turned to Shen Tian.
Shen Tian winked at her. “Little Sister Lu, come with me for a second. I’ve got something to tell you. We’ll eat after.”
“What is it? Can’t you say it here?” Lu Ningwan asked, puzzled.
“Nope,” Shen Tian said, reaching for Lu Ningwan’s hand and leading her to a fire escape in the stairwell.
Lu Ningwan couldn’t shake the feeling that the little mischievous puppy was up to no good lately, and now she’d been dragged to the stairwell?
“Tiantian, spill it. What’s up?” Lu Ningwan asked with a half-smile, curious to see what excuse the little mischievous puppy could come up with.
Shen Tian grinned and hugged Lu Ningwan. “Little Sister Lu, I haven’t seen you all morning. I missed you so much. Did you miss me?”
Lu Ningwan laughed and shook her head. “Nope.”
Shen Xian swayed in her arms, pouting playfully. “Well, do you want some little strawberries then? Sweet and tangy ones.”
Lu Ningwan pinched the little mischievous puppy’s cheek, smiling. “What are you going on about? We’re still at the company. Be good, let’s go eat.”
Shen Tian looked at Lu Ningwan with a pitiful expression. “But I really missed you, Little Sister Lu. I’ll feed you some little strawberries.”
With that, Shen Tian leaned in and kissed Lu Ningwan. The little mischievous puppy, having just differentiated, had recently become quite fond of stealing kisses from Lu Ningwan.
Lu Ningwan hadn’t expected the little mischievous puppy to be so bold as to kiss her at the company. By the time Shen Tian let go, Lu Ningwan’s breathing was uneven, and her lipstick was smudged at the corners.
Lu Ningwan shot a glare at the little troublemaker who’d stirred things up, but with the faint red flush at the corners of her eyes from the kiss, it looked more like she was pouting.
Shen Tian, now behaving herself, said innocently, “Little Sister Lu, your lipstick’s smudged. Let me wipe it for you.”
Lu Ningwan nearly laughed in exasperation. The little mischievous puppy acted like she hadn’t been the one to kiss her, but since Lu Ningwan couldn’t see herself, she let Shen Tian wipe her lips clean. They straightened their clothes and headed to Shen Xian’s office.
When Shen Tian and Lu Ningwan stepped into Shen Xian’s office one after the other, Lin Qinghan gave the two little ones a curious look. “Didn’t you leave before me? Why are you just getting here now?”
Shen Tian smiled. “I went with Little Sister Lu to the restroom.”
Lu Ningwan shook her head with a smile, watching the little puppy spin her lies.
Lin Qinghan could tell the two had a little secret but didn’t press further. She smiled and waved them over to eat.
Even while eating, Shen Tian insisted on sitting close to Lu Ningwan, passing her water one moment and tissues the next, bustling about happily, almost forgetting that their mommy and mother were watching.
That afternoon, Shen Tian pored over documents again and even attended a meeting with Shen Xian. Though she didn’t fully understand everything, she managed to recognize most of the people in the meeting room and learned who was responsible for what. Afterward, Shen Xian went over it again, explaining which people handled which projects.
By evening, back in Lu Ningwan’s room, Shen Tian was visibly wilted.
Fresh from a shower, Lu Ningwan saw Shen Tian sprawled listlessly on the bed and asked with a smile, “What’s wrong with you?”
“I worked all day. I’m exhausted. Little Sister Lu, how’s it going with you learning from Mommy?” Shen Tian asked from the bed.
Lu Ningwan ruffled the little puppy’s hair, smiling. “It’s going alright, but I’ve only got a general idea. Running a company that big isn’t something we can master in a day or two. We’ll take it slow.”
“Mhm,” Shen Tian mumbled with a nod, then scooted over to hug Lu Ningwan as she lay down. “Little Sister Lu, I want to cuddle and sleep.”
Lu Ningwan tapped Shen Tian’s nose. “No funny business. Just sleep.”
“Got it. I’ll be good,” Shen Tian said, already wrapping her arms around Lu Ningwan. She nuzzled Lu Ningwan’s neck, sniffing lightly with a content smile. “Little Sister Lu, you smell so nice. One whiff, and I’m not tired anymore.”
Lu Ningwan playfully swatted Shen Tian, laughing. “What, am I catnip now? Aren’t you a little mischievous puppy? Since when did you become a kitten?”
Shen Tian grinned and leaned in to kiss Lu Ningwan. “Little Sister Lu, you’re calling me a mischievous puppy. If I don’t do something naughty, wouldn’t that be a waste of the accusation?”
With that, Shen Tian kissed Lu Ningwan’s lips, the sweet scent of strawberries filling the air. After a while, she pulled back slightly, muttering, “Little Sister Lu, I’ll feed you some little strawberries.”
“Shen Tian!” Lu Ningwan tried to protest, but the little puppy’s kiss silenced her. The mischievous puppy, still inexperienced, only knew how to kiss and cuddle, teasing Lu Ningwan until she was flustered. But just when Lu Ningwan was riled up, Shen Tian decided she was done and ready to sleep, leaving Lu Ningwan wide awake.
The next morning, Lu Ningwan ignored the little mischievous puppy, wondering if she should find a chance to teach her a lesson.
Time flew, and soon Shen Tian and Lu Ningwan had been at the company for two weeks. From knowing nothing, they were starting to get the hang of things. Shen Xian treated Shen Tian like a secretary, while Lu Ningwan followed Lin Qinghan to meetings constantly.
Finally, the day came to pick up their admission notices. Shen Tian and Lu Ningwan, thrilled to have a break, swapped their professional attire for casual clothes to head to school.
On the way, Lu Ningwan and Shen Tian ran into several teachers and classmates. Their homeroom teacher chatted with Lu Ningwan for quite a while.
Meanwhile, Shen Tian was happily talking with seven or eight classmates.
“Hey, Shen Tian, you differentiated into an Alpha? No way, I never would’ve guessed!”
“But it’s pretty cool. With your personality, I bet tons of Omegas like you. Some Omegas in our class had crushes on you, but you turned them down because you didn’t want to date early. So, what’s the deal now? You can date, right? It’s not early anymore.”
“Yeah, yeah! Omega sisters, look over here! Shen Tian’s an Alpha now. If you like her, better make your move before she heads to university and you miss your chance.”
While Lu Ningwan talked with the teacher, her eyes kept drifting to her little puppy, who was surrounded by seven or eight Omegas, chatting away happily.
Lu Ningwan couldn’t focus on the conversation anymore. Without her around, was her little puppy trying to cause trouble?
She smiled politely at the teacher. “Teacher, I’ll head over now. Let’s catch up another time.”
“Sure, going to find your sister? You two are so close,” the teacher said with a smile, realizing she’d been talking too much.
After a few more pleasantries, Lu Ningwan hurried over to her little puppy. Shen Tian was still chatting happily with the Omegas when she heard Lu Ningwan’s cold voice behind her. “Shen Tian, come with me. I need to talk to you.”
Shen Tian spun around and saw Lu Ningwan standing with her arms crossed.
She flashed a smile at her classmates. “Little Sister Lu’s calling me. I’ll catch up with you guys later.”
Hearing that Shen Tian planned to continue chatting later, Lu Ningwan’s expression grew even colder.
Oblivious to what she’d done, Shen Tian walked over to Lu Ningwan with a grin. “Little Sister Lu, what’s up? Didn’t you want to talk?”
As they stepped away, the classmates started venting.
“Ugh, it was like this at school too. Lu Ningwan kept such a tight leash on her sister. No one had a chance.”
“Yeah, I heard she even confiscated love letters.”
“Now that we’ve graduated, what’s wrong with chatting a bit? If you want to pursue Shen Tian, you’d better act fast. Fair competition, right?”
While the group chattered excitedly, Lu Ningwan led Shen Tian to a nearby school building, not too far from where Shen Tian had been talking. The two groups could still see each other through the trees lining the path. Lu Ningwan pointed at the wall, motioning for Shen Tian to stand there.
Shen Tian looked at her, confused. “Little Sister Lu, why am I standing here?”
Lu Ningwan gave the little flirt a half-smile, poking her chest lightly. Leaning in close, her lips brushed Shen Tian’s ear as she whispered, “Nothing much. Your sister just wants some strawberries. Is that okay?”
Shen Tian’s ears tickled from Lu Ningwan’s warm breath, and being at school made her a bit shy. But when her eyes landed on Lu Ningwan’s lips, she licked her own and said bashfully, “It’s okay.”
Lu Ningwan, exasperated by the little puppy’s shy demeanor after flirting with Omegas, kissed her right on the lips.
Shen Tian wasn’t sure if it was the school setting, but her heart fluttered with a mix of sweetness and nerves. Lu Ningwan’s lips were so soft, and soon Shen Tian’s legs felt weak.
Across the way, someone spotted the bold scene and pointed, whispering in shock, “Oh my gosh, look at Shen Tian and Lu Ningwan!”
The others thought she was overreacting at first, but then they saw Lu Ningwan pinning Shen Tian against the wall, kissing her.
Stunned, they forgot all about propriety and stared as the two kissed for what felt like forever.
Lu Ningwan didn’t care who was watching. If anything, she wanted the whole world to know the little puppy was hers. When Shen Tian was breathless from the kiss, Lu Ningwan finally pulled back.
Gently wiping the smudged lipstick from Shen Tian’s lips, her fingers brushing the soft skin, Lu Ningwan warned with a hint of threat, “Shen Tian, you’re the one who came after me first. Don’t you dare flirt with other Omegas, or I’ll lose control like this again.”
Shen Tian looked at Lu Ningwan softly, her cheeks still flushed. She’d only talked a bit more with her classmates, hadn’t she?
Pouting, Shen Tian whined, “Little Sister Lu, my legs are weak.”
Lu Ningwan laughed despite herself. Was her little puppy really an Alpha? Getting weak-kneed from a kiss at school? “You deserve it for smiling so sweetly at other Omegas.”
Though she said it, Lu Ningwan helped Shen Tian stand. The little puppy clung to her, trying to steady her wobbly legs, and grinned foolishly. Her Little Sister Lu looked so cute when she was jealous~
