The Beautiful Older Sister I Picked Up Is Good at Flirting - Chapter 63
Chapter 63
Under Fu Siyi’s attentive care, the symptoms of Fan Zhen’s dependency period gradually faded. Aside from the occasional drowsiness, she was almost back to normal—if anything, her complexion looked even rosier than before, her skin dazzlingly fair. Even the jewels around her neck seemed to pale in comparison.
With exquisite makeup and a pure white beaded gown that resembled a wedding dress, her long jet-black hair flowed down her shoulders. A rare string of pale lavender pearls adorned her neck. Holding up the hem of her gown, she gracefully descended the spiral staircase.
Everyone in the Fu residence had gathered in the main hall, eager to get a good look at this so-called “country bumpkin” heiress.
The moment Fan Zhen appeared, they all fell silent. Her poise, her presence, her elegance—there was not a trace of a lowly maid. She was every inch a noble, graceful swan.
Fu Siyi stood at the bottom of the stairs, slowly walking up to her. Unable to contain herself, she wrapped her arms around her, eyes sparkling with pink starlight.
“Jiejie… you’re so beautiful…”
Fan Zhen’s cheeks flushed pink. In a voice only the two of them could hear, she murmured,
“Aren’t you really into Huo Shuixian? Well… now she’s yours.”
“Huo Shuixian is my idol. Fan Zhen is my wife.” Fu Siyi wrapped her arm around Fan Zhen’s waist, her smile deepening.
“I’m so lucky… My idol became my wife…”
Seeing Fu Siyi publicly displaying such shameless affection, Fan Zhen’s face turned red. She gently pushed her away.
“Let go… everyone’s watching.”
The mentioned “everyone” quickly turned their backs, saying in unison:
“We didn’t see anything.”
Fan Zhen: !!!
Seeing Fan Zhen’s embarrassment, Cen Wan approached and whispered in her ear,
“Don’t worry. All the ‘parasites’ in the family have already been cleared out by Xiao Yi. The only people left now are trustworthy. Plus…”
She deliberately dragged out the last word, her eyes glinting with mischief.
“Everyone here loves a little sugar. So, you and Xiao Yi should sprinkle more of it for them.”
“Miss Cen…” Fan Zhen was so flustered that she didn’t know where to hide, her cheeks blooming a lovely crimson.
Lowering her gaze for a moment, a sudden realization struck her.
“Miss Cen, you all knew… I’m actually Huo Shuixian?”
Cen Wan nodded with a soft smile.
“You tried really hard to act poor, but unfortunately that face of yours is just too unconvincing. Even the way you walk, sit, or pass something—it’s all so refined. No way you’re some uneducated village girl.”
Fan Zhen lowered her head in shame and stammered an apology.
“I’m sorry… Back then I lost my ID, was starving, and had nowhere to go… so I made up a lie…”
Granny Ying stepped forward, gently taking Fan Zhen’s hand, her eyes glistening with tears.
“How could we blame you? Ever since you came to the Fu household, you’ve worked hard and cared for the young miss so well. You’ve been devoted to her. We’re nothing but grateful… With you by her side, I can rest easy. Even if I died now, I’d be ready to meet the old madam…”
Fan Zhen couldn’t bear to hear such talk of life and death. Her heart ached, and her long lashes were misted with tears.
“Please, don’t say that, Granny… It makes me sad…”
Cen Wan gave Granny Ying a playful smack on the back.
“Granny, we were having such a nice chat—why are you trying to make everyone cry?”
“Exactly! Granny, you really don’t know how to talk.” Fu Siyi noticed Fan Zhen’s reddening eyes and immediately glared at Granny Ying.
“Why bring up sad things?”
Under Fu Siyi’s intense stare, Granny Ying quickly pulled out a handkerchief and gently dabbed Fan Zhen’s eyes with a smile.
“Alright, alright. I’ll live to be three hundred, like a walking spirit, okay?”
Fan Zhen couldn’t help but laugh through her tears, affectionately leaning against Granny Ying’s shoulder.
“Thank you, Granny.”
Granny Ying was momentarily stunned.
“Thank me for what?”
Fan Zhen glanced at Fu Siyi, then teasingly said in a honeyed tone,
“If you hadn’t taken me in, I might’ve ended up being sent back to the commercial district.”
Fu Siyi hadn’t expected her to bring that up. She quickly moved behind Fan Zhen like a scolded wife and shoved all the blame onto Granny Ying.
“Granny, why bring up the past?”
Granny Ying’s wide face was filled with mock hurt, as if suffering a thousand paper cuts.
With a sigh, she relented with a smile.
“Alright, alright, no more bringing it up.”
Then she dramatically added,
“Now that the young miss has her little wife, this old lady’s totally out of favor.”
Everyone around tried to stifle their laughter.
The rustling giggles reached Fan Zhen’s ears, making her feel like a blushing shrimp. She sneaked a glance at Fu Siyi, who was also blushing, looking like another cooked shrimp.
After some chatting, the others tactfully left, leaving the two shrimps staring at each other.
Fan Zhen fluttered her lashes and put on a stern big-sister tone.
“Yizai, I’m almost fully recovered and the dependency period’s ending. I think I should go back to sleeping in the guest room.”
Fu Siyi’s smile faded.
“Why?”
Fan Zhen composed herself, trying to sound serious.
“Now that everyone knows I’m the Huo family’s heiress, I should start acting like one. I can’t just sleep with you so openly—”
Before she could finish, Fu Siyi’s warm lips pressed against hers, silencing her words.
She could do anything else—but not sleep apart!
Fu Siyi’s lips trailed down along her cheek, her breath scorching and electric.
Fan Zhen tried to push her away. But Fu Siyi mischievously released a faint trace of her pheromones—so faint it was barely detectable—yet it made Fan Zhen’s whole body melt. Instinctively, she clutched at the Alpha’s chest, her resistance turning into flirtatious submission.
What a rascal!
Fu Siyi pulled her close, turned them around, and pinned her against the wall, lifting her chin for a deep kiss.
Fan Zhen’s eyes blurred from the intensity of the kiss.
The beaded strap of her gown slipped down, her seamless underwear mysteriously undone, and her exposed skin was both cool and burning hot.
That shameless Alpha! All the clothes she bought looked proper but came off with a single tug!
Clearly, she didn’t want other Alphas seeing Fan Zhen’s body—but made it very convenient for herself.
Such a wicked little beast!
Fan Zhen was stunned by Fu Siyi’s boldness. Realizing her clothes were in disarray, she hurried to fix them.
But Fu Siyi wasn’t having it. She grabbed her wrists, raised them over her head, and pinned them to the wall.
“Jiejie, you want to sleep in a separate bed?”
They were pressed tightly together.
The cake’s packaging had been torn open by the Alpha.
Cream and cherries tangled before her eyes.
Fu Siyi nibbled and sucked playfully, then lifted her head with a teasing grin.
“Jiejie, hmm?”
Fan Zhen was still in her dependency period—how could she handle this? She whimpered in surrender.
“I just meant… mmm… for appearances, I’ll sleep in the guest room, and sneak over at night… okay? That way people won’t suspect… Yizai, please let me go, mm…”
“Oh? So Jiejie likes sneaky affairs?” Fu Siyi’s peach blossom eyes curved with mischief, the corners of her long eyes lifting. Even her lips glistened beautifully in the light.
Only now did Fan Zhen realize how bright Fu Siyi’s eyes were, how her lashes were practically magical.
No! Now’s not the time to swoon! That beast is still stealing cake and licking cherries like crazy!
“I already said I’d sneak over—let me go…”
Fu Siyi let her go, then held out her palm in front of her.
Fan Zhen paused, adjusting her dress.
“What?”
Fu Siyi lowered her lashes and grinned playfully.
“You’re offering ‘in-house service’… shouldn’t you leave a business card?”
Service your big stupid head!
Fan Zhen buttoned up and gave her a strong shove before running away in embarrassment.
Behind her came the Alpha’s childish and provocative voice:
“Jiejie, if you don’t come, you’re a puppy.”
Fan Zhen’s lips curved in a charming smirk, her soft laughter drifting back:
“You’re the puppy! You pervy little mutt!”
…
Fan Zhen walked through the corridor and into the garden. From outside the iron gate came the postman’s bell. She usually raced to grab the paper, and today the chubby mailman waved at her from a distance.
“Girl, here’s today’s paper!”
“Thanks, Uncle.”
She politely thanked him and took the paper from his hand.
As she walked, she unfolded the paper and skimmed through it. Then she casually flipped it over—and froze in her tracks. Her gaze locked on the front-page headline, her pupils dilating.
“Heiress Song Lan Marries Qin Family’s Little Princess Qin Si — A Fairytale Ending for the Rich”
Fan Zhen’s eyes dropped to the half-page photo of the wedding scene.
Song Lan is married?
That meant… her engagement to Song Lan was officially off!
A firework exploded in her chest, bursting into the sky and showering her with joy.
She was so happy, she wanted to run circles around the garden screaming.
To tell the whole world—
She was free.
She could finally be with Fu Siyi.
No more guilt.
No more obstacles.
Just them.
Together.
