The Black Lotus Omega Always Wraps His Tail Around Me (GL, ABO) - Chapter 14
After receiving the fever-reducing injection, Fu Suihe lazily let out a yawn.
Seeing that she seemed to be recovering, Ji Yanwan finally felt a bit of the guilt in her heart lift. Just then, her phone started vibrating.
At first, she thought it might be Meng Jiayu trying to reach her, but when she saw the caller ID, her hand trembled slightly.
The screen flashed with the contact name: “Man-eating Sister.”
It was a very vivid description. Ji Yanwan took a deep breath and answered the call.
“Come home. Now.”
Ji Mingtao’s voice was cold. With just those four words, she hung up without giving Ji Yanwan a chance to reply.
Ji Yanwan was stunned, and even Fu Suihe, sitting nearby, lifted her head.
It was clear Fu Suihe had heard the voice on the other end of the call.
The atmosphere grew awkward in an instant. Ji Yanwan gave a small cough and said, “Get some rest. I’ll be heading out now.”
The woman leaning on the sofa nodded gently and asked in a soft voice, “Do you want me to see you off?”
Ji Yanwan shook her head and took the freshly dried suit that Abu handed her.
When she finished changing and stepped outside, Fu Suihe had already fallen asleep on the sofa.
Ji Yanwan waved goodbye to Abu, stepped out of the RV, and closed the door behind her.
The moment the door clicked shut, the woman who appeared to be sleeping opened her eyes.
Abu noticed this and stepped closer, reaching out to check her forehead to make sure her fever hadn’t returned.
“Suihe-jie, do you want to take a nap?” she asked.
Fu Suihe shifted her body and stood up. “No need. I’ll be going out in a bit. Just wait here in the RV.”
Abu nodded and turned to leave, but then returned with something in her hands.
“Suihe-jie, what about these clothes?”
In her hands were the loungewear Ji Yanwan had just worn, folded neatly.
Fu Suihe gave the clothes a cold glance, frowning as though they were something dirty.
“Throw them away,” she said flatly.
“Everything she just used, get rid of it.”
Abu was taken aback. Fu Suihe, who was usually gentle, now looked frighteningly cold. Her expression held nothing but visible disgust.
“And disinfect the RV,” she added.
“Her scent is absolutely revolting.”
Meng Jiayu’s car was parked on the roadside, directly facing Fu Suihe’s RV.
Sitting in the driver’s seat playing with her phone, she spotted Ji Yanwan approaching and quickly got out to open the door.
She grinned and said, “You’re finally here, Awan.”
Ji Yanwan’s face had been tense, but her expression softened slightly at the sight of her friend. She gave a small hum in response.
Meng Jiayu got in and started fastening her seatbelt. “I’m really sorry, Awan. I meant well, but it turned out badly. Please don’t be mad at me.”
Ji Yanwan sighed. “You don’t need to apologize. I’m not angry.”
But Meng Jiayu clearly didn’t believe her. Ji Yanwan’s reaction earlier had made it obvious that she was upset.
They had grown up together, and Meng Jiayu knew Ji Yanwan’s personality very well. She was someone who usually avoided trouble, but with Fu Suihe, she had clearly been affected, even when Meng Jiayu tried to dissuade her. Ji Yanwan had still gotten involved.
As Meng Jiayu leaned over to help her buckle the seatbelt, she suddenly noticed something. “What’s this?”
Ji Yanwan looked down and saw a few strands of silvery-white fur on her sleeve.
She picked them up and examined them closely. The hair was fine, long, and glossy, clearly from an animal.
Ji Yanwan frowned and tried to recall the interior of the RV.
Did Fu Suihe even have a cat?
Then why was there cat hair?
After securing the seatbelt, Meng Jiayu started the engine. “You’re still too young. You act like you’re worldly, but how did you end up falling for someone like Fu Suihe?”
Ji Yanwan quietly searched the rest of her clothes for more fur, gathered the strands in her hand, and said nothing.
With the steady movement of the car and Meng Jiayu’s chatter acting like a lullaby, Ji Yanwan leaned back against the seat and yawned.
By the time she woke up, the car had stopped in front of her apartment complex.
Ji Yanwan stretched and was about to say goodbye when she noticed the guilty look on Meng Jiayu’s face.
The next second, the car door was pulled open.
A strong force yanked her out, snapping the seatbelt loose.
Ji Yanwan was annoyed by the rough treatment and was just about to lose her temper when she was suddenly lifted off the ground.
Four bodyguards had come, and they were carrying her like some kind of animal, holding her arms and legs.
Ji Yanwan struggled and shouted, “What do you think you’re doing in broad daylight? This is a lawful society!”
Meng Jiayu lowered her head, listening to her friend’s protests, not daring to look up.
An elite alpha had lost her temper. The faint trace of pheromones in the air carried a powerful sense of pressure.
The sound of high heels on the stone pavement was sharp and commanding, like a battle signal.
Ji Mingtao stood before the person being carried, frowning in disgust. “Be quiet.”
Recognizing the voice, Ji Yanwan struggled harder. “Sister, you…”
Ji Mingtao raised her finger to her lips, then instructed the bodyguards, “Tie up the third young lady and take her home.”
The guards nodded and carried Ji Yanwan away without hesitation.
Ji Mingtao didn’t leave right away. She leaned over and looked into the car at the girl who was trembling.
“Miss Meng seems to have a lot of free time lately.”
She smiled, her bright red lips stunningly beautiful.
But Meng Jiayu shivered and couldn’t bring herself to say a single word.
“It’s alright. I’ve prepared a little gift for you too.”
Meng Jiayu’s heart skipped a beat. She stared at the beautiful woman in front of her, who was clearly smiling, yet the chill running down her spine made her scalp tingle.
Ji Mingtao said no more. She turned and walked away in her high heels, her steps sharp and deliberate.
As the sound of heels faded into the distance, Meng Jiayu finally exhaled in relief. But her phone rang at that exact moment.
The caller was the head of the Meng family, her second sister, the person she feared the most.
Meng Jiayu felt her vision blur as she collapsed into the back of her seat, completely resigned.
Meanwhile, Ji Yanwan, who had been carried home, was not faring any better.
The bodyguards dragged her into the villa and dumped her directly onto the floor.
Even though there was a carpet, the impact was hard and echoed sharply through the room.
Ji Yanwan felt like her bones had fallen apart. Her entire body curled up in pain.
Just as she started to regain some strength, a shadow loomed over her.
Still lying on the ground, she could only see a pair of black high heels—slender stiletto heels with sharply pointed toes.
Instinctively, Ji Yanwan closed her eyes, bracing for a kick. But instead of striking her, the woman wearing the shoes stepped back a few paces.
Ji Yanwan struggled to lift her head, just in time to be hit in the face with a thick stack of photographs.
They fluttered down like snow, landing all around her.
As the photo paper hit the ground, the gentle breeze it stirred up sent a chill down her spine.
Ji Mingtao looked at her lying on the floor and let out a cold snort.
“In just one day, my inbox received more than five hundred photos.”
“Ji Yanwan, have I spoiled you so much that you no longer understand human speech?”
Her voice was cold. The floor was cold. But Ji Yanwan’s heart was even colder.
The photographs scattered across the ground all featured only two people—herself and Fu Suihe.
Every picture was intimate and suggestive. The most recent one had been taken just two hours ago, right when she entered Fu Suihe’s RV.
Ji Mingtao’s eyes grew colder. “Perfect timing. The Cheng family is already in chaos over the called-off engagement. Are you trying to make things worse for them?”
Ji Yanwan opened her mouth, trying to explain, but just then a strange numbness ran up her spine.
And then, with a ding, a system notification appeared in her mind.
