The Black Lotus Omega Always Wraps His Tail Around Me (GL, ABO) - Chapter 2
Ji Yanwan looked slightly dazed. She had clearly heard the sound of a payment notification.
She bent down to feel around for her phone and, sure enough, found it under the pillow.
She opened the message bar. The transaction alert was right there at the top.
“What the hell?”
Ji Yanwan muttered in surprise, completely forgetting the situation she was in.
The reporters stood frozen. They looked at each other, unsure of what to do.
Fu Suihe glanced at the woman who had suddenly turned away to play with her phone. A trace of killing intent flickered in her eyes.
The Omega’s pheromones were still spreading through the air. Fu Suihe’s neck was fair and smooth, with a faint bite mark that wasn’t very deep.
Just one more step and the mark would have become a full bond.
Although Fu Suihe felt it was a pity, she didn’t say much. She simply waved her hand to signal the others to leave.
The reporters filed out. Fu Suihe stood and slowly began to put on her clothes.
If looks could kill, the Alpha on the bed would already have been torn to pieces.
But Ji Yanwan, who was still lost in thought, didn’t notice any of it.
She had finished counting the money and was in a great mood.
System: “Dear, you received the payment, right? So, can we move forward with the mission now?”
Ji Yanwan glanced at the amount on her phone. It felt a bit suspicious.
System: “Don’t worry. That amount is your reward. There’s no problem with it.”
Ji Yanwan: Why reward me? Just for kissing her?
She had the conversation with the system in her mind as she turned to glance back at the woman who was now getting dressed.
The woman was bending over to pick something up from the floor. From this angle, Ji Yanwan could see her slim waist beneath the loose white t-shirt.
It looked like the ridges of a snow-covered mountain, leading to a sacred peak.
System: “Of course not. Your mission is simple. You just need to follow the plot and hurt the female lead until she turns dark and strangles you. Once that happens, your mission will be complete.”
Ji Yanwan felt dizzy. Wait, this isn’t a love redemption story?
System: “Nope, sweetie.”
Ji Yanwan froze.
System: “Well, sort of. But you’re only responsible for half the mission. Technically, you’re the fire that starts the tragedy before the redemption even begins.”
Ji Yanwan frowned. No way. I can’t take this money. I want to live.
System: “It’s not like that. Once you complete your part, we’ll send you back to your original world. The rest of the story will be handled by someone else.”
Ji was starting to understand. She hadn’t become the poor Alpha who cleans up the mess. She was the one who created it.
But still, she didn’t understand. Why me?
System: “Because we looked through your browsing history and the books you like. You seem to prefer scummy Alphas, yandere characters, forced love, captivity, and emotional pain. So we thought you had great potential.”
Ji Yanwan: Seriously? Judging people based on their kinks? That’s so shallow!
Ji Yanwan: And that’s just fantasy. Who actually wants to do any of that in real life?
System: “But now you can. Since you know the rules, be ready. Once your life points hit zero, you will be strangled on the spot.”
Ji Yanwan: What?
Ji Yanwan: What if I refuse?
System: “Strangled.”
As the word fell, a jolt of tingling sensation shot up from her lower back, making her twitch involuntarily.
Ji Yanwan couldn’t hold it in and cursed aloud. “Damn it! Are you even human?”
Fu Suihe, who had just finished dressing and was pulling up her jacket zipper, paused. She yanked the zipper all the way up in one swift motion.
She put on her cap and mask, then gave Ji Yanwan a long, deep look.
They stared at each other in silence.
Ji Yanwan hadn’t expected to cry out like that and her eyes revealed a hint of guilt.
The tension in the room thickened. It was the middle of summer, but the air conditioning was turned down low. Even so, it couldn’t suppress the pheromones swirling in the air.
The hormones tainted with desire floated heavily between them.
The scent of orchid from the Omega hadn’t faded. Instead, it poured out like a flood, wrapping around Ji Yanwan, like fine silver needles piercing into her bones and stirring up desire.
Ji Yanwan frowned instinctively. Her Alpha instincts were being triggered.
The source of it all stood quietly by the bed, fully dressed.
The brim of her cap was so low it nearly touched her mask.
Only her eyes were visible.
The natural tilt at the corners of her eyes gave her a seductive look. Right now, they looked like deep, still water silently watching.
Ji Yanwan searched her mind, trying to recall a description of the woman.
But the content for this chapter seemed to be missing.
Neither of them spoke. They stared at each other, trying to read anything they could from the other’s eyes.
Fu Suihe stared closely at Ji Yanwan. Her eyes weren’t the usual black but leaned toward gray.
Her long hair draped over her shoulders. The two canines that had bitten into Fu Suihe’s neck earlier hadn’t even retracted.
With that beautiful face and those unusual eyes, she had the looks of someone truly exceptional.
But right now, her stunned expression made her look almost foolish in an oddly pure way.
Fu Suihe had no idea what Ji Yanwan was thinking.
She didn’t know whether Ji had already told her older sister. If she had, that would actually be better.
“Miss Ji,” Fu Suihe suddenly said.
Her voice was gentle, with a subtle softness at the end that gave people a strange tingling sensation.
Ji Yanwan swallowed. The orchid scent was clouding her mind.
The effects of the earlier suppressant still lingered, and a small flame had ignited in her chest.
“About tonight…” Fu Suihe began, then gave a low chuckle. “How do you plan to handle it?”
Ji Yanwan cleared her throat. Her voice was already hoarse. “Handle what, exactly?”
“Exactly. Handle what?” Fu Suihe walked slowly toward her, releasing even stronger pheromones with every step.
Ji Yanwan’s last thread of reason snapped completely.
The woman who had been lying lazily on the bed suddenly lunged forward, grabbing Fu Suihe and pressing her down.
In the struggle, Fu Suihe’s cap fell to the floor and her long black hair spilled across the bed like ink.
Ji Yanwan stared into the eyes of the woman beneath her.
Her eyes were clear yet deep, like a bottomless pool, and Ji Yanwan found herself sinking into them without even realizing it.
Fu Suihe blinked softly. Her long curled lashes fluttered like a butterfly skimming over a lake, leaving ripples behind.
The Alpha, slowly losing control, leaned down with heavy breathing brushing against her neck.
Fu Suihe’s gaze remained calm, a smile playing on her lips.
But after a moment, the expected pain never came.
When the Alpha spoke again, her voice had lost its hoarseness. Her tone was cold and emotionless.
“Miss Fu still hasn’t answered my question. What exactly needs to be resolved?”
“Is it the part where I was drugged by Miss Fu and lost my mind? Or was it being harassed by the paparazzi she brought with her?”
“Or perhaps it’s dealing with the scent glands that are constantly tempting me into heat?”
Ji Yanwan pushed herself up, a flash of cold menace in her eyes.
“Should I help you remove them?”
A cold, sharp sensation pressed against Fu Suihe’s neck.
There was a flicker of panic in her eyes as she forcefully pushed the woman off her.
The person who had been shoved didn’t resist. She simply lay back in the same posture, eyes tightly shut, lips pressed together as if she was holding something back with all her might.
Fu Suihe realized her plan had completely failed. In a rush, she picked up her fallen cap and mask.
She gave Ji Yanwan one last angry glare, then turned and left.
As the sound of the door closing echoed, Ji Yanwan let out a long breath and tossed away the blade held between her fingers.
The blunt side of the blade had already left bruises on her palm.
The unbearable heat and arousal surged in violent waves inside her, hitting her over and over.
If that Omega had released her pheromones again, Ji wasn’t sure she could have resisted.
But with the plot and characters still unclear, she had no intention of following the system’s instructions, and certainly didn’t want to form a bond with an Omega because of a trap.
Especially one so deliberately set up.
She tried to recall the character notes in her head, but found nothing useful.
It was like playing a level-based game where you only unlocked character profiles and descriptions after reaching specific plot points.
Ji Yanwan felt a surge of frustration. Other people who transmigrated usually had the full script. They just needed to stay alive, complete easy missions, win over the love interest, and live happily ever after.
But she had gotten the opposite. No script, no character info, and her task was to make the original protagonist hate her, torment herself until she hit rock bottom, and only then could she leave, letting someone else reap the reward of love.
It all felt so unfair.
The discomfort surged again, completely overwhelming her.
Before she lost consciousness, the last thing she saw was the deep and unreadable eyes of that Omega.
“Sis, I’m already here. How can she still be sleeping after causing such a huge mess?”
A woman’s unfamiliar voice rang out, followed by the sound of footsteps and curtains being pulled open. Ji Yanwan frowned but didn’t respond.
The woman continued talking. “Just wait, I’ll get her up now.”
The curtains were pulled wide open with a loud swish. Sunlight hit Ji Yanwan’s face directly, making it impossible to stay asleep.
She groaned, rolled over in frustration, and suddenly sat up, shouting, “How heartless are you? Can’t I just sleep for once?”
Before she could finish, a pillow flew straight at her.
The clack of high heels echoed nearby. Ji Yanwan squinted, barely making out the figure of the woman walking toward her.
She looked angry. Her young, elegant face paired with red lips was stunning and sharp, full of power.
Memory clicked into place in Ji Yanwan’s mind. This woman was her second sister, Ji Mingtao.
She was one of Jiangcheng’s most famous female entrepreneurs, known for her sharp tongue and ruthless efficiency. She held the second-in-command position in the Ji family.
Before Ji Yanwan could even greet her properly, a phone was thrown at her face.
“You idiot. Look at what you’ve done!” Ji Mingtao snapped.
Ji Yanwan looked at the phone screen, which was glowing with a familiar orange interface. The top headline was marked with a dark red “Trending” tag.
So, this world had Weibo too.
She glanced at the first headline.
#Rising Film Queen Fu Suihe’s Relationship Exposed#
#Fu Suihe Secretly Meets Girlfriend at Hotel#
Ji Yanwan clicked her tongue in surprise. “You all love gossip here too, huh?”
Ji Mingtao gave her a cold laugh. “You think this is funny?”
Ji Yanwan tapped on the first post. It was from a gossip account and featured two photos along with a caption.
In the picture, the so-called rising film queen Fu Suihe was pinned down on a bed. When Ji saw her face, her hand shook.
Then she saw the face of the person on top and instantly threw the phone away.
Seeing that reaction, Ji Mingtao snatched the phone back.
“You idiot. Do you even realize what you’ve done?” She crossed her arms. “Do you have any idea who she is?”
Ji Yanwan looked up nervously. “Fu… Fu Suihe?”
Ji Mingtao rolled her eyes and started scolding again. “If you knew she was Fu Suihe, why did you still get involved with someone from the Fu family? Don’t you know the Cheng family is already targeting us? You make this kind of mess and still have the nerve to sleep?”
“Wait, wait a minute.” Ji Yanwan felt completely lost. “Why would the Cheng family target us just because I was photographed with Fu Suihe?”
“Good question,” Ji Mingtao sneered. “The Cheng family probably wants to know too. Like why you ended up in bed with their second daughter’s fiancée.”
Fiancée?
Fu Suihe was engaged to someone in the Cheng family?
That one sentence completely fried Ji Yanwan’s mental circuits.
Ji Mingtao was a woman of action. Less than five minutes later, Ji Yanwan was dressed, freshened up, and sitting inside a car.
She sat quietly on the ride, not daring to speak as her sister scolded her the entire way. Still, she managed to pick up some crucial information.
Apparently, the Fu and Cheng families were in an alliance. The apology press conference they were attending was just a cover. The real purpose was to officially announce the engagement between the Fu and Cheng families.
Ji Mingtao parked the car, then turned to warn her.
“There will be a lot of people at this press conference. You better not embarrass me. Understand?”
Ji Yanwan gave a weak nod.
She looked out the window just as another car pulled into the spot next to theirs.
Someone stepped out, removing her cap and mask to reveal a stunning, familiar face.
It was Fu Suihe.
