The Cannon Fodder NPC Went Too Far [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 23
Chapter 23
“Shen Zheng!” At Xia Yu’s suddenly raised voice, Shen Zheng curved her lips and reached out to lift Xia Yu entirely into her arms.
Xia Yu’s round almond eyes were filled with shyness, hot and bright, like a leaping bonfire in the darkness, dazzling and beautiful. She lightly pounded Shen Zheng’s shoulder, signaling her to put her down.
Shen Zheng gently shook her head, a hint of mischief flashing across her face. She slightly lowered her arms. Xia Yu let out a small yelp, instinctively drawing her head into Shen Zheng’s embrace, her hands tightly wrapping around Shen Zheng’s neck.
A soft stream of laughter escaped Shen Zheng’s throat. She leaned down and gently kissed Xia Yu’s forehead, then carried Xia Yu steadily toward the basement step by step.
She gently placed Xia Yu on the large bed in the basement, then flicked Xia Yu’s head with her finger.
Xia Yu covered her head with both hands, pouting in grievance.
Shen Zheng sighed and lightly admonished her: “What are you thinking? Sleep.”
Apart from that one night of overly passionate behavior, their daily interactions were mostly affectionate and clingy kissing and hugging.
Shen Zheng saw that this little cub was quite clueless and wondered how she had passed high school biology.
Every time they kissed for too long, she would blush and clingily burrow into Shen Zheng’s arms. The whimpering sounds she made truly made Shen Zheng want to strip off her clothes and give her a proper biology lesson.
Of course, these were just thoughts in her head. She was so much older than her; she couldn’t actually be a beast. She was also afraid of scaring her off.
Forget it. She had time. She would guide her slowly.
“Shen Zheng, you’re so annoying <╯^â•°>” Xia Yu’s eyes were wide open. She lay on the bed, quietly waiting for Shen Zheng to lean down and kiss her. Seeing Shen Zheng sitting by the bed and remaining motionless, she mumbled and turned her head away, ignoring her.
Beneath her proud little head, Xia Yu secretly glanced at Shen Zheng several times. Seeing that Shen Zheng remained clueless, Xia Yu’s eyes darted around. She quickly scooted forward and bit Shen Zheng’s ear.
Then, she rapidly scrambled onto the bed, wiggled a few times, and wrapped herself into a thick cocoon with the quilt, turning her back to Shen Zheng.
Hmph. No more kissing for her.
Shen Zheng was left gently rubbing her completely red earlobe, her fingers suddenly clenching as she covered her mouth and gasped softly.
She knew Xia Yu didn’t mean it the way it sounded, but every one of her expressions and gestures was exceptionally provocative in her eyes, drawing her to desperately want to get closer to her—closer and closer.
Shen Zheng knelt on the bed and hugged the huge cocoon from behind. Her hot breath was sprayed onto Xia Yu’s ear, sometimes light, sometimes heavy.
A strange current of electricity rapidly spread from her earlobe, like countless tiny, dense needles, carrying a slight yet undeniable numbness, gently probing and roaming beneath the skin.
Xia Yu shivered. She felt Shen Zheng gently kissing her crimson earlobe, starting with a light touch, carrying a careful probe. She heard the little cub’s suddenly heavier breathing.
Shen Zheng curved the corner of her eye, gradually deepening the kiss. The tip of her tongue lightly brushed against the skin, causing Xia Yu’s body to tremble slightly. Her hands instinctively wanted to push Shen Zheng away, but they were trapped by the quilt.
“Shen Zheng!” Xia Yu gasped, changing to call out Shen Zheng’s full name. However, the soft, sweet voice was completely different from her usual proud, clear tone.
Shen Zheng remained silent, continuing to bite the soft flesh of her earlobe with her teeth, increasing the pressure.
It couldn’t just be her feeling uncomfortable. It was only fair that this little cub experienced it, to stop her from provoking her all day long.
Xia Yu only felt the tingling sensation winding down her neck, rapidly spreading throughout her body. Her back slightly arched. No matter how she turned her head, she couldn’t shake off that annoying thing near her ear.
The quilt had been wrapped too tightly just now, and being hugged from behind by Shen Zheng, she was completely immobilized, which truly felt like being self-imprisoned.
“Little cub, the way you feel right now is exactly how I felt a moment ago.”
Her slender fingers gently brushed away the tears spilling from Xia Yu’s eyes, then forcefully wiped Xia Yu’s slightly parted lips.
With light eyebrows and a gentle tone, she was attempting to teach the little cub not to carelessly light fires everywhere, lest she burn herself.
Xia Yu didn’t clearly hear what Shen Zheng was saying. Her breathing was as rapid as a drumbeat, erratic and urgent. Each intake of breath felt like she was desperately trying to draw in fresh oxygen from the air, yet it still couldn’t alleviate the internal heat.
Her cheeks were completely flushed, burning intensely. She frantically clawed at the quilt she had wrapped so tightly earlier. Finally breaking free from the thick layer, Xia Yu tossed the quilt to the floor with a sweep of her hand. Her watery eyes looked at Shen Zheng with a mix of shyness and anger. Her body went soft as she instinctively leaned forward, wanting to rub against Shen Zheng.
Seeing the little cub wanting to rub against her like before, whimpering softly.
This time, Shen Zheng did not indulge her as she had previously. She stretched out one finger and pressed it against Xia Yu’s head, which was trying to lean in. No matter how hard Xia Yu pushed her head forward, that finger remained unyielding, blocking the path between her and Xia Yu.
Shen Zheng watched Xia Yu’s increasingly anxious movements with interest, seeing her pout and almost start to cry.
Only then did Shen Zheng withdraw her finger. Unexpectedly, even at this moment, the little cub had a stubborn temper. Seeing no obstruction, she didn’t rush forward, but angrily bumped her head down and curled up on the bed, whimpering.
Shen Zheng shook her head helplessly, raised her eyebrows at Xia Yu, and gently asked:
“Little cub, don’t you like my abs?”
“Mmm…” What nonsense is she talking about? Xia Yu vaguely lifted her eyes, looking at the gently smiling Shen Zheng.
That smile was particularly despicable. Her miraculous sixth sense immediately alerted Xia Yu. Without thinking, Xia Yu swung a punch at her face.
Shen Zheng chuckled softly. She caught Xia Yu’s incoming wrist with one hand and pulled off the tie that was dangling precariously from her neck with the other.
As the black tie was pulled off, Shen Zheng narrowed her eyes and smoothly wrapped it around Xia Yu’s hands, tying them together.
Then, she took off her outer shirt, revealing her flat abdomen. Six packs of lean muscle were clearly visible on her abdomen. Although each muscle was not large, the structure was regular. Highlighted by sweat, the lines were deep, firm, and powerful.
Shen Zheng lay on her back on the bed. She lifted the still-dazed Xia Yu and firmly pressed her onto her uneven abdominal muscles.
Shen Zheng tensed her abdomen, subtly twisting and occasionally thrusting her waist, as if training in a gym.
“Little cub, come and count. How many abs are there?” The gentle voice, carrying a hint of teasing, slowly entered Xia Yu’s ears.
Xia Yu clenched her lips, stubbornly suppressing the whimpers in her throat. She turned her head to the side, breathing heavily, silently refusing to answer the question. But Shen Zheng wouldn’t have it her way.
The little cub was always so proud, with not an inch of surrender in her bones. Her bright eyes sparkled with fierce fire.
Did she know that the more stubborn she looked, the more Shen Zheng wanted to make her cry? She wanted her eyes to be clouded with tears, her throat to let out sobs, her straight spine to collapse, and the light in her eyes to become shaky and lost…
Shen Zheng thought this, and she acted on it. After several heavy repetitions of simulated barbell crunches, Xia Yu’s body was trembling uncontrollably.
She raised her head, exposing her delicate collarbone. Her body involuntarily tilted backward, but Shen Zheng was firmly holding her in place, one hand gripping the tie, the other seizing her waist.
With no other choice, Xia Yu had to accept Shen Zheng’s rules of the game, hoping to end everything sooner.
“Little cub, you can’t come down until you can count them.”
“Five…”
“Wrong.”
“Eight…”
“Wrong again. Little cub, count properly.”
“Ugh, I can’t count…” Xia Yu’s voice, which she tried to keep composed, had long since broken, trembling and filled with a cry.
The more urgently she tried to count, the more intense the sensations beneath her became. With flushed, hazy eyes and a chaotic, disorganized mind, how could she remember how many abdominal muscles she had passed over?
Shen Zheng gently stroked her fluffy head, still adhering to the rules of the game, refusing to let her down.
“If you can’t count, little cub, then just endure it properly.”
Every time Xia Yu tremblingly uttered a wrong answer from her throat, the hand Shen Zheng used to hold Xia Yu’s waist would tighten its grip, and her abdomen would rapidly arch and contract, serving as punishment for the mistake.
“Shen Zheng… mmm… you bastard!”
Only when Xia Yu had fallen soundly asleep did Shen Zheng finally get up to clean up the aftermath. After organizing everything, she picked up a tissue and carefully wiped the moisture from her abdominal muscles.
“Ah-ah-ah! 100 points! The system’s first 100 points ever! The system must cherish it!” The little blue ball woke up, realized the basement plot had concluded, and upon checking the score, excitedly flew up and down.
“Host is so amazing! You are the best Host I have ever guided!” The little blue ball, with starry eyes, flew in front of Little Xia Yu, praising her wildly.
Little Xia Yu proudly raised her small head, rightfully accepting this most supreme compliment from the system world.
She deserved it. The system had no idea how Shen Zheng had bullied her to get that 100 points.
“So, according to the novel, the next plot is that I escape from the basement, unfortunately run into the male lead, get my legs broken and locked up in a private hospital, and then go offline soon after,” Little Xia Yu read, her voice growing louder.
“Host, after the system’s rigorous calculation, the Host only needs to encounter the male lead and provoke him a few times to activate this plot node. As for the part about being beaten and locked up in the hospital, you can skip that. The score is sufficient.”
The little blue ball analyzed everything clearly in front of Xia Yu, completely unaware that its words were inappropriate.
That’s its Host, a living person, not really cannon fodder. If others didn’t care, it certainly did.
“Provoke the male lead while everyone else is away!” Hiss. The plot felt vaguely familiar. Little Xia Yu shook her head, recalling her pathetic state that night. She gasped, her skin instantly tightening.
If she did it again, would Shen Zheng beat her?
No way. She’s her girlfriend now. Can’t they just talk things out? Little Xia Yu wrinkled her nose, pouted, and poked the confused little blue ball with her finger.
It’s all your fault!
