The Cannon Fodder NPC Went Too Far [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 28
Chapter 28
System 10086 bounced and hopped back to the Management Bureau Center, with a huge, conspicuous 90 points hovering above its head, smiling exceptionally brightly.
In the most mysterious core area of the Management Bureau, a strange light mass floated, emitting an unusual white glow.
Perhaps sensing the little blue ball’s approach, It slowly floated in front of 10086, constantly flowing and changing. Layers of ethereal, dreamlike halos flickered. The main god’s silhouette was faintly visible within the white light, vaguely resembling a human form, but its specific shape was hard to distinguish.
The little blue ball rubbed affectionately against the main god’s palm, proudly shaking its bright red 90 points, as if asking for praise:
“Lord Main God, Lord Main God, 90 points on my first mission! Isn’t that impressive, isn’t that impressive~”
The main god smiled, watching the lively little blue ball, and gently rubbed its round head.
“My little Tuan Tuan is truly amazing.”
All systems, since their birth, have their own unique forms. There are triangles, squares, and stars, and System 10086 is a circle, somewhat similar to the main god.
The little blue ball thought that perhaps for this reason, the Lord Main God paid special attention to it. It was determined not to fail the Lord Main God’s cultivation.
The main god extended a forefinger and tapped the top of its head. A pure, concentrated energy instantly drilled into the little blue ball’s body.
“This is the reward issued by the Management Bureau after completing this mission. Focus your attention.”
Under the void of chaos, light converged and interwove in a strange manner, gradually outlining a blurred silhouette.
The silhouette gradually became clearer. The first thing to appear was a pair of clear, vast blue eyes, like the shallow, boundless sea.
It opened its eyes wide, curiously examining its tender little hands.
The little girl, around three years old and delicate as sculpted jade, had two small, upward-pointing ponytails. Her long eyelashes fluttered, and a few strands of loose hair mischievously fell by her cheeks.
“Lord Main God!” The little girl lifted her face, revealing a row of pure white, soft teeth. Two dimples faintly appeared, and her brilliant smile, like the warm spring sun, instantly dispelled the surrounding gloom. She happily spun around in front of the main god to show off.
The dreamy white light blurred for a moment. He paused, then extended a finger and gently flicked 10086’s little head.
In a flash, 10086 tumbled several times in the air, then shot out with a “biu,” and plunged confusingly into a black vortex.
His light, airy voice drifted into its ears: “Little Tuan Tuan, on to the next mission.”
Countless complex data streams simultaneously swirled in the vortex, drilling into 10086’s data sea.
The roar of an engine exploded on the empty racetrack, like the howl of an awakened beast. A cool race car sped by like a flash of lightning. The car’s lines were smooth, reflecting dazzling light under the streetlamps.
Gu Ao Yu wore a black helmet. Fine, black hair peeked out from the edge of the helmet, flying wildly in the strong wind. Behind the reflective visor were a pair of languid, indifferent eyes. She coldly watched the scenery that constantly vanished behind her.
Just then, a small, snow-white cat suddenly darted out from the grass by the track. Its pink little nose trembled slightly. Its eyes were wide and round, and it froze on the spot, clearly terrified by the large metal object speeding toward it.
Gu Ao Yu coldly glanced at it, then violently turned the steering wheel. The car body screeched against the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
She had no intention of slowing down. With a beautiful arc, she swerved past the stunned kitten and crashed directly into the fence beside the track. Amidst the violent metal collision, a silver-white arc broke through the fence and flew toward the mountains outside the track.
The car body tumbled, parts flew, and a large cloud of dust was raised. In a trance, a blurred figure seemed to lovingly blow on her bloody wounds. A tender child’s voice sounded in her ear:
“Hello, dear prospective Host. I am Cannon Fodder NPC System number 10086. Your vital signs are about to cease, and you will soon enter death.”
“I’ve detected that you meet all the requirements of this system. As long as you play the role of the cannon fodder Gu Ao Yu in ‘Handsome Campus Tyrant Pampering Fiercely: Where Will the Delicate Campus Beauty Run?’ and meticulously study the novel’s character design and fulfill the novel’s plot, when the qualification degree of the role-playing reaches 50%, this system will reward you with one chance at rebirth…”
“Bind with this system?”
“Didi-didi… Didi-didi…”
A bright red countdown appeared before Gu Ao Yu. Gu Ao Yu lay in a pool of bl00d. Her bloody fingers trembled. She lifted her eyelids and glanced at it, remaining as indifferent as ever. She neither disagreed nor agreed, and simply lost consciousness.
The little system hastily floated in front of her and poked her dying spirit body with its finger. Seeing no reaction from her, the system’s eyes darted around, looking for any witnesses. Finding none, it surreptitiously and quickly grabbed her finger and slapped it onto the agreement.
“No reaction means agreement. Hello, Host. System 10086 is delighted to be of service to you. Have a pleasant dream.”
When Gu Ao Yu opened her eyes again, the scent that assaulted her was that of fresh, vibrant greenery.
Deep in the woods, light and shadow sparsely leaked through the scattered trees. Teenagers, about fifteen or sixteen, wearing white school uniforms and carrying backpacks, shoved and pushed each other as they ran into the campus.
Gu Ao Yu rarely looked stunned, staring blankly at the large mirror placed near the school gate. An oversized school uniform hung loosely on her. The collar was wide open, faintly revealing her delicate collarbone. The hem of the shirt was casually tucked into her pants, and the sleeves were rolled up high, exposing her smoothly contoured forearms.
Her long black hair fell neatly over her shoulders. Silver highlights at her temples were subtly visible. She stood there languidly, hands in her pockets, bag slung over one shoulder, gazing indifferently at herself in the mirror.
Looking at the similar silver lip ring and defiant expression of the person in the mirror, Gu Ao Yu whistled to herself. Unconcerned with the current situation, she slowly started walking toward the school building.
Just as she entered the teaching building, a hand suddenly shot out, abruptly pulling Gu Ao Yu by the shoulder into a corner.
A flicker of impatience crossed Gu Ao Yu’s eyes. She slapped away the hand on her shoulder, straightened her wrinkled uniform. Her slender eyebrows drooped. After tidying up, she coldly stared at the female student in the school uniform before her, lifting her eyelids impatiently, indicating she should state her business.
The female student seemed accustomed to her rebellious expression. She winked at Gu Ao Yu and whispered a report: “Boss, it’s done. She’s in the third-floor restroom. Just waiting for you, Boss.”
Perhaps the malice in the female student’s eyes was too blatant, or perhaps Gu Ao Yu already understood this kind of coded language.
She sneered, tilted her chin at the female student, signaling her to lead the way. As her sleeve brushed against her school pants, the rustling sound indicated she was moving much faster than her previous slow pace.
With a soft bang, the restroom door was kicked open. The smell of disinfectant mixed with a slight odor assailed their noses. The female student smiled fawningly at Gu Ao Yu, who still had her hands in her pockets, and invited her in.
Gu Ao Yu lifted her eyes and scanned the scene inside. Several female students with variously colored dyed hair sat on the porcelain-white sinks, swinging their legs idly, cigarettes dangling from their mouths.
Not far away were rows of clean stalls, closely packed. On the open floor between the two rows of stalls, a girl, completely soaked, knelt there. Her drenched school uniform clung tightly to her, outlining her slight frame. The girl hunched her shoulders, instinctively wrapping her arms around herself.
Strands of hair clung to her cheeks. Water continuously dripped from the ends of her hair. Four or five delinquent-looking girls, some squatting, some standing, encircled her, grinning maliciously at her trembling figure.
A thin layer of water covered the floor tiles. Amidst the clamorous, vulgar curses, the girl kept her head lowered, remaining silent.
Gu Ao Yu casually tossed her backpack towards the female student who had led her in. Amidst the reverent calls of the delinquents, she snatched the bucket used to hold water from one of their hands.
She turned on the faucet, filled the bucket with water, and, under the roaring laughter of the delinquents, she raised an eyebrow and splashed the entire bucket of water towards the delinquents surrounding the girl.
Amidst the shrill screams, the delinquents looked at the expressionless Gu Ao Yu in astonishment, scrambling and jumping to try to escape her ‘baptism.’
However, Gu Ao Yu had excellent aim. The bucket was directed tightly at their faces. With a full bucket of water, the delinquents were instantly drenched. Water dripped down their hair and bodies, like stray dogs, just as pathetic as the girl on the floor.
The scene instantly descended into chaos. Gu Ao Yu faced the angry glares of over a dozen people all by herself, without changing her expression. Furious stomping and a few vicious curses spilled from the delinquents’ mouths.
Gu Ao Yu’s already languid eyebrows drooped even further. She picked up the bucket and violently smashed it towards the mirror above the sink. It cut a sharp arc in the air. With a loud clang, the bucket shattered, and plastic fragments scattered like snowflakes.
Gu Ao Yu’s bare arm bulged slightly. She glanced sideways at the stunned delinquents. They shivered, apparently recalling Gu Ao Yu’s combat ability, and instantly scattered, leaving Gu Ao Yu and the girl alone.
Gu Ao Yu curled her lips in disdain, watching their retreating figures. Then, she strode over, standing in front of the girl, looking down at her.
Water droplets streamed down her uniform and hit the floor. The girl tightly bit her lip, her wet, wide eyes looking up at the still-indifferent Gu Ao Yu. Her eyes instantly reddened, and tears mixed with the water on her face continuously rolled down.
Her body trembled slightly. She looked like a frightened kitten, a sight that would evoke pity in anyone.
Gu Ao Yu sneered, turned around without hesitation, grabbed her backpack, and left, showing no interest in her whatsoever.
Tsk, truly delicate.
“Ao Yu, thank you.” The girl hastily scrambled up from the floor and grabbed Gu Ao Yu’s hand.
Gu Ao Yu frowned, coldly shook off her hand, and said flatly: “Don’t mention it.”
