The Cold Goddess Always Wants to Turn Me Gay (GL) - Chapter 53: Heart Bleeding
In her dazed state, Yu Xin Xin sensed someone entering. Assuming it was Wei Zhi, her feverish body ached with discomfort. The cool touch of a hand on her forehead brought relief, and she nuzzled against it instinctively. Yet the person seemed indifferent; despite her efforts to please, the hand withdrew. Her muddled mind swirled with confusion and hurt, eliciting a soft whimper. Then came the sound of running water from the bathroom—perhaps Wei Zhi was showering. The thought conjured an image of a flawless figure, intensifying the fire coursing through her.
Gu Mingxi emerged in a bathrobe, frowning at the sight on the bed. No wonder Wei Zhi was taken with this girl—her pitiable demeanor could stir anyone’s heart.
The drug’s effects had taken hold. The figure on the bed writhed in agony, glistening eyes lightly shut, faint pink blooming at their corners. Her usually pale skin now glowed a delicate rose under the hotel’s dim amber lighting, weaving an air of intimacy through the room.
Gu, seemingly affected by the atmosphere, felt a flicker in her cunning gaze before the intrigue in her eyes deepened. With a graceful stride, she approached.
“Water…” Yu Xin Xin murmured weakly as she sensed the presence.
Seated on the bed, Gu studied her for a moment, thoughts unreadable behind a veil of complex emotions. Eventually, she rose to fetch a glass of water.
She supported the person against her shoulder, gazing at the soft, delicate figure in her arms with a slight curve at the corners of her eyes—like a fox eyeing its prey, her pupils gleaming with a profound light.
She brought the cup to Yu Xinxin’s lips, patiently feeding her a few sips of water. But compared to the scorching heat radiating from the girl in her arms, the water seemed to have no effect at all. On the contrary, the person in her embrace grew restless, instinctively hooking her arms around Gu Mingxi’s neck and nuzzling lightly against her.
Gu Mingxi’s fingers traced Yu Xinxin’s flushed cheek, the burning heat beneath her touch making her dark eyes flicker. A smirk curled her lips as her fingers slowly trailed downward, lingering at the girl’s neck, rubbing gently. The young girl’s skin was already delicate, but under the influence of the drug, it took on an unusual pink hue. With just a little pressure, faint blushes bloomed across it. Satisfied with her handiwork, Gu Mingxi let her fingertips wander over the smooth skin, coaxing out ambiguous red marks like blossoming flowers.
Uncle Zhou acted swiftly. The hotel manager led them to the security room and politely inquired about the exact time before pulling up the surveillance footage.
Yu Xinxin appeared on the screen, her condition clearly unwell, being supported as she entered the elevator. Zhou Tong recognized the person helping her—it was the classmate who had handed Yu Xinxin the drink.
“That’s her. She’s the one who gave Xinxin the drink.”
Wei Zhi’s brows furrowed tightly, her emotions teetering on the edge of eruption. Suppressing the turmoil with great effort, she stared unblinkingly at the screen. The footage switched to the elevator, where the person pressed the floor button, seemingly nervous, accidentally pressing a few extra. After escorting Yu Xinxin to the door, the girl hesitated before finally opening the door across the hallway.
Once they confirmed Yu Xinxin’s location, Wei Zhi wasted no time. Snatching the room key, she bolted out, her heart pounding violently, palms slick with sweat. Fear gripped her. Behind her, Zhou Tong’s shouts echoed, but she paid no heed, charging into the elevator like a madwoman. Zhou Tong, a step too late, burned with anxiety—Wei Zhi’s state was off, and she feared something terrible might happen.
Gu Mingxi watched the girl in her arms with amusement. The little thing was restless, her half-undone clothes only enhancing her alluring delicacy. The pure white bathrobe had loosened from her squirming, the wide-open collar exposing generous glimpses of skin. Under the warm yellow light, the scene grew even more suggestive.
The cool touch against her chest brought Yu Xinxin some relief, and she couldn’t help pressing closer. A rich, intoxicating fragrance filled her senses, stirring a faint sense of confusion—something didn’t feel quite right. But the scorching heat in her body quickly drowned out any coherent thought. Wrapping her arms around the other’s neck, she hazily caught sight of a pair of alluring red lips. She had tasted them many times before, each encounter leaving her trembling with desire, unable to resist. Now, with her longing amplified beyond control, she had no resistance left. There was only one thought in her mind—to take those lips between her own and indulge recklessly.
“You seem impatient?” Gu Mingxi pinched Yu Xinxin’s chin, displeased by the girl’s initiative, her expression darkening slightly.
Yu Xin Xin frowned, the pain in her chin making her feel aggrieved. Wei Zhi was not gentle at all tonight. She struggled to open her eyes, wanting to see why the other person was angry.
“Make sure you know who I am before throwing yourself at me.” Gu Mingxi’s eyes narrowed slightly. Though she was smiling, her words were icy.
The cold tone brought a fleeting moment of clarity to Yu Xin Xin’s foggy mind. She saw the face of the person in front of her and instantly felt as if she had been plunged into an icy abyss.
How could it be her? Where was Wei Zhi?
She began to struggle, her body weak and limp, trapped in Gu Mingxi’s embrace. The close contact made her nauseous, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t break free. The other woman’s fingers wandered over the skin near her ear and neck, her lowered eyes gleaming with excitement. Yu Xin Xin felt a surge of despair. Her feverish body was unbearably sensitive, and though her remaining rationality fought desperately against it, her body couldn’t help but lean closer. She trembled violently in this internal battle.
Suppressing the disgust in her heart, she tried once more to push the other woman away. Even through their clothes, she couldn’t tolerate this.
“Don’t… touch me.”
“You weren’t like this earlier.” Gu Mingxi withdrew her hand and gripped Yu Xin Xin’s chin again.
A noise came from the entrance. Gu Mingxi’s eyes flickered, and she laid the woman in her arms onto the bed, pressing down on her. The door behind them was flung open forcefully. A smirk curled at Gu Mingxi’s lips as she blew a soft breath against Yu Xin Xin’s ear.
Yu Xin Xin, burning with heat, let out an involuntary, stifled moan at the sensation.
The person who had barged in froze.
Wei Zhi had naturally heard that suppressed sound. Seeing the two figures pressed tightly together on the bed, her mind shattered for a moment. Without another thought, she yanked the person off Yu Xin Xin. When she saw Yu Xin Xin’s state, her bl00d boiled. Yu Xin Xin was in terrible condition—her clothes disheveled, large patches of skin exposed, flushed an unnatural pink. The red marks on her neck stabbed into Wei Zhi’s vision like knives. She felt her heart bleeding.
Gu Mingxi was flung aside by a powerful force, crashing into the corner of a table. A sharp pain shot through her waist, but she barely seemed to notice. A smile still played on her lips as she stared fixedly at Wei Zhi’s face, as if she had just witnessed something amusing.
“You’re asking for death.” Wei Zhi took off her coat and wrapped it around Yu Xin Xin. Her voice was hoarse, strained to the breaking point.
Gu Mingxi’s expression stiffened for a second, her amusement vanishing instantly. “What? You’re not satisfied with how well I’ve been taking care of your girlfriend?” she said coldly.
“You’ll pay for this.” Wei Zhi gritted her teeth, glaring at Gu Mingxi with eyes that seemed ready to tear her apart.
She could tell that Yu Xin Xin’s condition was far from normal. Guilt and pity lacerated her heart over and over.
“Tch. Take your woman and get out,” Gu Mingxi said icily, her face hardening. “Unless you’d rather cool her down right here.”
Wei Zhi carefully lifted Yu Xin Xin into her arms. Before leaving, she cast a glance at Gu Mingxi, who stood to the side. After a few seconds, a different emotion seemed to flicker in her cold eyes.
Gu Mingxi understood Wei Zhi’s gaze—it was disappointment. For some reason, an inexplicable irritation rose in her chest. Watching the two reach the doorway, she couldn’t resist calling out bitterly, “Do you really care about this girl so much? Have you forgotten how your mother died?”
Wei Zhi’s figure stiffened as she turned to look at her. “And what about you? What right do you have to say that to me?”
