The Consequences of Provoking a Crazy Beauty (GL) - Chapter 11
“…Wow, whoa,” He Xiao couldn’t believe Huo Junxian had agreed. She looked at Gu Siyu’s leg. “Siyu, tsk tsk.”
All three of them laughed at Gu Siyu. Gu Siyu didn’t say anything. After they finished laughing, Gu Siyu leaned back against the sofa, tilting her head and looking back at them pointedly.
He Xiao shook her head, knowing Gu Siyu was angry. She pressed a finger to her lips, then turned her head to ask Huo Junxian why she was there. Huo Junxian, of course, didn’t say she was there for Gu Siyu, claiming she was just passing by and waiting for a friend.
“Which friend?” Gu Siyu asked.
“Just… an ordinary friend,” Huo Junxian said.
“…Oh.” Gu Siyu got up from the chair. She walked outside, biting her lip. Huo Junxian watched her retreating back and followed.
He Xiao and Duan Jiayang were filled with doubts, whispering behind them, guessing if Huo Junxian’s friend was Gu Siyu.
Gu Siyu walked quickly. She was already out of the bar when Duan Jiayang caught up in a few strides. She walked behind Huo Junxian and asked, “Sister Huo, can I add your contact info?”
“Hmm?” Huo Junxian blinked, a little confused.
“Just… to get to know each other?” Duan Jiayang said.
“I didn’t bring my phone,” Huo Junxian said.
“Don’t you remember your phone number?” Duan Jiayang asked softly, looking very eager to get her contact information. Soon, her cheeks flushed red.
Huo Junxian smiled. “Okay.”
Duan Jiayang exhaled.
“I was just thinking of the number, sorry, I don’t usually remember it.”
“No worries, no worries.”
Huo Junxian recited a string of numbers. “It should be this one.”
Duan Jiayang typed it into her phone. He Xiao nudged her, saying, “You’re so bold! You just went straight up and asked for it!”
“Do you want it?” Duan Jiayang held out her phone.
He Xiao immediately fell silent, quickly pulling out her own phone. “For no other reason, mainly I like her dog. It’ll be convenient for me to be a simp later.”
Duan Jiayang also said, “I was just thinking of asking Sister Huo for help later. You know about my family issues…”
“Just pretend, I think you want to be the simp the most.”
“…”
There was a camphor tree outside the bar entrance. Gu Siyu stood there, watching the three of them interact. She was still holding her phone. After a few glances, Huo Junxian turned and walked away.
The four of them had different routes. Turning out of the alley, they walked towards their respective neighborhoods. Huo Junxian followed behind Gu Siyu.
“Are you angry?” Huo Junxian took a step forward, saying softly behind her, “Don’t be angry anymore.”
“Can anger be appeased by just words?” Gu Siyu never accepted verbal apologies. Huo Junxian should understand this principle.
She walked two more steps forward. Ahead was a small alley, with no one inside. She walked very close to Gu Siyu.
Walking into a dead end, Gu Siyu had deliberately led her here. Huo Junxian said, “Do bad girls also like fairy tales?”
Gu Siyu initially didn’t understand what she meant. Huo Junxian herself then said, “I heard you singing.”
“Is that so?” Gu Siyu asked, “Did you hear anything else?”
Their two shadows stretched long. After a moment of stalemate, Gu Siyu walked ahead.
“You sing very well.”
Huo Junxian slowly followed behind her, then stopped at the entrance of a shop. Gu Siyu turned to Huo Junxian and said, “Wait for me here. I’m buying something.”
Huo Junxian looked up. The shop was in a small alley, looking very much like an underground black market shop, but it was well-stocked. The owner was a middle-aged man, and his wife was cooking inside.
Gu Siyu went in, scanned the place, and bought two bottles of yogurt drink. The owner put them in a plain transparent plastic bag and said, “The woman who came with you left.”
Gu Siyu looked outside the door. Indeed, she didn’t see anyone. She carried her purchases out. Huo Junxian shouldn’t have gone back. Gu Siyu bit her lip, the curve of her mouth looking like a smile, yet also like anger.
*She actually ran away?*
Huo Junxian truly had a lot of guts.

The person in the car hadn’t reached home yet. The car window was half-down, and the poodle kept glaring out the window, looking down on people with its dog eyes.
The driver in front turned the steering wheel and said, “Miss, why didn’t you let me go earlier? It’s easy to deal with her.”
Huo Junxian tilted her head slightly, her fingers resting on the poodle’s chin, stroking it twice. Shadow enveloped her, and she merely smiled.
