The Consequences of Provoking a Crazy Beauty (GL) - Chapter 7
Gu Siyu checked her face in her phone, feeling that the swelling hadn’t gone down. She touched it with her fingers, finding her cheek cold.
The kitchen’s soundproof door was closed, but the faint sounds of cooking could still be heard. Gu Siyu leaned back and replied to a friend’s message.
Xiaoxiao: [Siyu, come to the bar for a drink, it’s on me. I’ve got something fun to tell you about recently.]
Gu Siyu: [I’ve got something fun going on here too.]
Xiaoxiao: [Let me in on the fun! Let me in on the fun!]
Gu Siyu: [I just want to have fun by myself.]
Xiaoxiao: [Stingy! Are you coming back to live here? If not, can I crash at your place? I don’t have anywhere to stay lately.]
Gu Siyu: [Let’s meet for dinner tomorrow. I want to ask you about someone.]
Xiaoxiao: [Who?]
Gu Siyu: [I’ll tell you when we meet.]
While chatting, she received another message from Jin Yuansen.
Gu Siyu frowned at the message. Just as she was about to reply, You Wanyue’s voice again reached her ears. You Wanyue spoke in a lowered tone, seemingly avoiding Huo Junxian. She walked up to Gu Siyu, no longer feigning her previous demeanor, looking at Gu Siyu with clear hostility.
You Wanyue said, “I hope you don’t provoke Junxian.”
“What’s in it for me?” Gu Siyu glanced towards the kitchen. She intentionally hissed, “Although she hit me, just now she… well, was flirting with me.”
You Wanyue had clearly noticed; she had tried to stop it earlier but couldn’t. She picked up her bag from the table and pulled out a card. “There’s money in here, more than Jin Yuansen gave you. Leave Junxian, and all of this is yours.”
The card she produced looked very high-end, much nicer than the bank savings card Jin Yuansen gave her. It was likely a premium custom-made one.
“Don’t turn down money,” You Wanyue said.
“You really understand me,” Gu Siyu said. She reached for the card, but You Wanyue pulled back. “You leave her first.”
Both of them had dropped their pretense, tearing off their disguises. You Wanyue smiled faintly. This woman was also quite gentle, but unlike Huo Junxian, who was a cold moon, You Wanyue’s gentleness was like a poisoned scimitar.
Gu Siyu intertwined her fingers. “Huo Junxian’s house is worth three hundred million, and she also got half of Jin Yuansen’s assets. Do you think… I’m that stupid?”
You Wanyue said, “But Junxian won’t like you. If you insist on making trouble, you might not get a single cent.”
Gu Siyu still smiled. She wasn’t surprised that You Wanyue tried to dismiss her with money, because Gu Siyu simply had the face of someone who loved money.
She particularly liked it when people tried to negotiate with her using money; You Wanyue knew how to play to her preferences, which suited her perfectly.
“This money shouldn’t be for me to leave; it’s a hush-money fee, isn’t it?” Gu Siyu said. “If you try to trick me, I’ll go to your husband. To be honest, I’m quite curious about what kind of person your husband is, for him to give you so much money.”
Gu Siyu looked at You Wanyue’s wrist. “I’m a bit despicable; I’m capable of anything.”
You Wanyue’s eyelashes fluttered. The words didn’t come out, and the smile she had just shown was suppressed.
The glass door opened, and the two poodles scurried around their feet. Huo Junxian was cooking; with three people, she needed to increase the quantity, so she made five dishes.
“Don’t rush, I’ll feed you later.”
When the dishes were on the table, Huo Junxian squatted down to mix food for the two dogs. The brown and white dogs devoured their meals, looking quite adorable.
Gu Siyu held her chopsticks, looking at the food on the table. When Huo Junxian took her seat, she turned and softly spoke to Huo Junxian, as if whispering secrets: “She just told you to elope with me, and offered to sponsor our travel expenses.”
You Wanyue froze, then quickly explained, “You’re talking nonsense! I clearly said…”
Gu Siyu continued speaking to Huo Junxian, “Huo Junxian, are you coming with me or not? I even saw her card number clearly just now, the last four digits are… 3679?”
You Wanyue gritted her teeth.
In a house without surveillance, logic was self-contained. Only by seeing whose explanation made sense and whose logic was clear could Huo Junxian decide whom to believe.
Truth and lies were determined by others, not by oneself. Gu Siyu rested her chin on her hand, looking languid, and You Wanyue couldn’t do anything about her.
“Can you two stop arguing?” Huo Junxian interrupted them helplessly. “Are you eating?”
Gu Siyu spread her hands. “Not arguing. Just maintaining dignity.”
*Dirty money.*
She loved money, but not just any money.
Three women made a drama, each sharp-edged. No matter how delicious the food, they couldn’t get along harmoniously. Another car drove into the courtyard; this one was not ostentatious and parked silently outside the gate.
Both women instinctively looked towards the door. Gu Siyu withdrew her gaze, and You Wanyue also reined in the sharpness in her eyes, retracting their recent argument.
The assistant, holding documents, stared blankly at the scene inside the house. He was dumbfounded; this was completely different from what Jin Yuansen had said. These two women were clearly vying for Huo Junxian’s affection.
Huo Junxian walked out from between them. She tugged at her skirt, walked to the assistant, her hair clinging to her cheek. She brushed her hair back and asked, “Is something wrong?”
The assistant collected himself. “It’s a small company matter, regarding a position.”
Huo Junxian nodded.
“Previously, when Chairman Huo was alive, you were the CAO, but it was always a nominal position; you never went to the company. So, he said, to let you…” The assistant didn’t quite dare to say it. It was actually simple: Jin Yuansen wanted to force Huo Junxian out of the company, and he didn’t dare to come himself, so he sent the assistant to say it.
The assistant hadn’t had much contact with Huo Junxian; mostly, he’d heard Jin Yuansen say Huo Junxian had a mental illness, that she was disgusting…
He was quite scared.
Huo Junxian said, “Alright, I’ll prepare myself first. The CAO position isn’t small; suddenly withdrawing might affect the company’s stock. I’ll go over and handle the handover.”
“Ah?”
“Is that not allowed?”
“It’s allowed,” the assistant nodded. He just hadn’t expected Huo Junxian to agree so quickly.
Huo Junxian smiled faintly. “Do you want to come in for some water?”
The assistant looked into the house, at the two people in the dining room. Although they weren’t speaking, their eyes held hostility, like fuses baked by the sun, ready to cause a big explosion at any moment. He vigorously shook his head and said, “No need to trouble you, I’ll head back now.”
“Okay.”
The assistant glanced into the house once more, then got into his car and left.
As soon as the person outside left, Huo Junxian turned around. The other two women in the house also stopped arguing.
Gu Siyu didn’t cling to You Wanyue like before; she was merely a cold observer. She really wanted to see what tricks these two women would play together, risking domestic violence every day just to meet in secret.
These two were not exactly “dry wood and raging fire.” Huo Junxian tidied up the house, then carried a bag and sat on the sofa, pulling out some knitting yarn from it.
Knitting in summer, tsk…
You Wanyue sat down next to Huo Junxian. She leaned in to speak, “Junxian, don’t listen to her nonsense.”
When Huo Junxian pulled the yarn, the ball rolled directly to Gu Siyu’s feet. As Gu Siyu bent down to pick it up, the poodle ran over and pushed it with its paw towards Huo Junxian, so the ball rolled directly past Gu Siyu’s palm.
Huo Junxian praised, “Xiao Yu is so good.”
Gu Siyu stood by the side of the sofa, having picked up nothing but loneliness. She snapped her fingers and muttered, “Lackey.”
That little lackey even wiggled its backside, its small tail shaking quite enthusiastically. Gu Siyu particularly wanted to lift her leg and kick it.
After pushing the yarn ball, the little poodle circled her feet, biting her pant leg. The poodle wasn’t retaliating; it wanted Gu Siyu to play with it.
Gu Siyu wasn’t having any of it. Barefoot, she gently pushed the dog away. “Get lost, traitor.”
The little dog pounced on her feet again, back and forth several times.
“Xiao Yu, don’t scratch anyone,” Huo Junxian reminded.
“Ow.” The poodle rolled over and ran into the yard to chase the brown poodle again.
With the two dogs gone, silence descended. Gu Siyu noticed a faint scent on Huo Junxian, not milky, but a cool plum fragrance.
Just as she recognized this scent, the other woman forcefully squeezed in. She carried a rich scent of rose perfume and held a bag of yarn, asking Huo Junxian, “How do you cast on this?”
Huo Junxian showed her once. You Wanyue tried to follow, then let out a soft hiss. “I’m so clumsy. Please teach me again. I want to knit a sweater for Cotton this year.”
“Okay,” Huo Junxian taught You Wanyue again.
This went on three or four times. You Wanyue’s hands were clumsy, and she couldn’t get the hang of it even after a long time. It was a good thing Huo Junxian had a good temper and didn’t get angry with her.
Meanwhile, Huo Junxian looked up towards where Gu Siyu had been sitting. The person who had been there was gone, she didn’t know when.
“Junxian, teach me again,” You Wanyue tugged at Huo Junxian’s hem. If she wanted to, this ball of yarn could be knitted from summer to winter.
Gu Siyu went upstairs and stood on the balcony, watching the two dogs play below. She intensely disliked You Wanyue; she was a variable in her plan. Gu Siyu had thought she had Huo Junxian in her grasp, but she hadn’t expected Huo Junxian to be so love-struck. Someone threw her a bone, and she immediately forgot her pain, wagging her tail and eagerly rushing over to love them fiercely.
The two poodles were fighting over a rubber ball, biting at each other’s mouths. They had no idea that the ball was bought by Gu Siyu.
Wasn’t Huo Junxian just like that? She looked human, but in reality, she was like a dog at heart, acknowledging a master. You Wanyue abandoned her like that, yet Huo Junxian shed tears for You Wanyue for an entire afternoon. In the end, You Wanyue threw her a bone, and she ran over, wagging her tail in supplication, loving her desperately.
Gu Siyu’s sympathy was only fingernail-sized. She did feel pity for Huo Junxian and didn’t mind giving her a hand, but… if Huo Junxian was going to be this submissive, she would immediately withdraw her overflowing sympathy.
She touched her cheek with her fingers.
The swelling had gone down, but the slap was still a slap.
Gu Siyu held a grudge.
After a while, Huo Junxian emerged from the courtyard. The two dogs, carrying the ball, trotted enthusiastically towards her. Huo Junxian walked into the house, pausing momentarily. Gu Siyu propped her chin on her hand, expecting Huo Junxian to look up, but Huo Junxian didn’t.
Gu Siyu tapped her chin with her finger. She turned and entered her room, lying on the bed to play with her phone, flipping through the photos she had taken.
What was Huo Junxian’s mindset when she let these photos be taken?
So exposed, wasn’t she afraid of what she might do with them?
Looking at them made Gu Siyu thirsty, so she poured herself a glass of water.
It was summer, around four or five in the afternoon, and it wasn’t dark yet. You Wanyue wasn’t in a hurry to leave; she walked the dog by the entrance, and Xiao Yu kept following her like a shadow.
You Wanyue extended an invitation. “Junxian, how about we go back to walking our dogs and taking strolls together every day, just like before?”
The little poodle bit Huo Junxian’s pant leg, and Huo Junxian nodded, saying, “I’ll go get the leash.”
She hadn’t walked the dog for a few days, so the leash was still in her room. Huo Junxian went straight into the room to find it. The leash was tied to the headboard; it took her a while to untangle it.
Downstairs, she put the leash on the poodle.
“Gu Siyu is Jin Yuansen’s current girlfriend, right?” You Wanyue asked. “She’s the woman who ruined your family, isn’t she? I remember you said Jin Yuansen didn’t marry you because he loved you; it was all her doing, wasn’t it?”
Huo Junxian didn’t answer.
The two walked in the neighborhood. As dusk approached, the sky was dyed orange and red, with clouds clinging together, forming a fiery cloudscape.
Passing under a tree, a cool breeze blew. You Wanyue said, “Women like her are very fond of money. She’s not sincere with Jin Yuansen, and she won’t be devoted to anyone else either. If she bothers you, I can help you get rid of her.”
Her voice was soft, blending with the sound of wind rustling leaves. “I can do anything for you.”
Huo Junxian said, “Let’s walk the dogs.”
You Wanyue gripped the leash tightly, suppressing her emotions, and said okay.
The little dog was full of energy, running tirelessly around the house. Huo Junxian returned under the cover of night, and You Wanyue saw her to the door but didn’t follow her inside.
The house was quiet. Huo Junxian went in to shower. Her hair was half-dry when she hung the hairdryer on the wall.
The chandelier on the ceiling cast a dim light. There was some movement on the bed. Gu Siyu sat up from the bed, propping herself on her elbows, breathing heavily.
Huo Junxian, fresh from her shower, smelled wonderful. The milk-scented shower gel was very alluring, no wonder that female neighbor clung to her like a dog.
Huo Junxian dried her hair. She was very quiet, not speaking. She didn’t seem like the “high-mountain flower” type, who would package herself in long clothes and pants to hide every bit of allure. Huo Junxian was inherently aloof, silent and unsmiling, cold and robotic. Perhaps even that wasn’t quite accurate; she was like a machine thrown into the snow in winter, utterly unknowable, whether good or bad.
She quietly nestled in the snow, watching others as if they were dead, and she herself was dead too.
Gu Siyu hooked her finger into Huo Junxian’s pajamas, asking annoyingly, “Is it really fun to carry on like this with her, hiding every day?”
Huo Junxian raised her arm, her palm resting on her hair. She ran her fingers through the still-damp sections.
“You’d be better off with me,” Gu Siyu said. “I’ll be with you day and night.”
“I’ll eat with you, shower with you, sleep with you…”
“Of course, you don’t have to choose to carry on with me. You can continue with your little lover, but I’m going to tell your husbands. I will tell them.”
“He seems particularly displeased with your asset distribution.” Gu Siyu rested her arm on Huo Junxian’s shoulder. She held the stack of “Asset Liquidation” documents, shaking her hand.
Huo Junxian’s hair-drying motion stopped instantly. She reached out to grab it, but Gu Siyu was quicker and lifted the documents away.
“What do you want?” Huo Junxian was no longer playing mute.
From behind, Gu Siyu could see her neck: fair, with straight shoulders, the legendary beautiful swan neck.
They say that when swans mate, their necks entwine, and when they die in passion, they still lie with their necks crossed.
Gu Siyu leaned closer, sweeping the hair from Huo Junxian’s shoulder behind her ear. She was originally going to kiss Huo Junxian’s chin, but looking down, she saw her open bathrobe and the fullness of her chest.
Gu Siyu reached out and gripped her shoulders, letting out a soft “tsk.” She kneaded them twice, taking control of her. “Huo Junxian, I’m not joking with you. Everything I said just now was serious. Don’t pretend you don’t know. I’m giving you one night to think about it.”
As she spoke, Gu Siyu’s fingers subconsciously slid to the center of Huo Junxian’s chest, her palm resting over her heart.
She pressed her face against Huo Junxian’s, called her name, and then placed her hand on Huo Junxian’s chest.
“Huo Junxian.”
*Thump!*
“Huo Junxian!”
*Thump-thump!*
*Thump-thump-thump!*
Gu Siyu shamelessly harassed her. The more Huo Junxian struggled, the more she liked it, her hands constantly entwined with Huo Junxian’s body.
Huo Junxian’s shoulders shrugged, shaking off her arm, and Gu Siyu lost her grip.
Gu Siyu didn’t press forward again. She spread her arms and unhurriedly tossed a stack of photos onto the bed, which scattered like a line of playing cards. They were colorful images, making it seem as if she were scattering those small erotic cards found in hotels.
But these were photos of Huo Junxian and that little neighbor.
In the pictures, the two were grappling, Huo Junxian applying medicine to You Wanyue, their intimate moments under the tree—past and present. She had discreetly taken many photos.
Huo Junxian paused slightly, clearly not expecting Gu Siyu to have kept such a trick up her sleeve.
“Hmm…” Gu Siyu looked at Huo Junxian, unhurriedly picking up the photos. She didn’t throw them away carelessly; she stuffed them all into the asset liquidation file from earlier.
She had Huo Junxian firmly by the neck. Gu Siyu handed the items to her, smiling, “Here you go, I don’t want them.”
Huo Junxian looked up at her face. She didn’t feel that her slap this morning had been inappropriate. Of course, Gu Siyu wasn’t touched by her subsequent act of applying ice to her face; she was simply someone who couldn’t tolerate being wronged.
These two, together, were trouble.
“What do you want to do?” Huo Junxian didn’t take the documents from her hand. Who knew if Gu Siyu had backups? Her expression towards Gu Siyu was exceptionally cold.
Gu Siyu said, “Don’t look at me like that. The more stubborn you are, the more I want to force you into loving me.”
Huo Junxian, who had been struggling, stopped moving. Her lips twitched. “Forced love?”
Gu Siyu was very pleased with her reaction. “Huo Junxian, I really did pity you before, thinking you were pathetic, and I felt compassion for you. But I’ve realized you’re entirely to blame for your own troubles. Why should I pity you?”
“Gu Siyu…” Huo Junxian called her.
Gu Siyu acted as if she hadn’t heard, continuing, “After this, obey me. Do whatever I tell you to do, understood?”
Huo Junxian gripped the bedsheet tightly. She didn’t say a word. Gu Siyu pinched one of the small photo slips and said, “She’s different from you. She has a husband, doesn’t she?… I’m just showing you the photos, but maybe I’ll show them to her husband.”
“Are you scared?”
Huo Junxian nodded. She gritted her teeth and said, “Scared…”
She seemed to want to say more but held back. The lively emotions in her eyes were truly pitiable. She lowered her head, her whole shoulder trembling.
Her br3asts were large, which made her shoulders appear somewhat broad. There was no helping it; such large br3asts had to come with some cost.
Gu Siyu exhaled. Her previous nap had left her lightheaded. She still carried an air of malice and smiled grimly. Gu Siyu said, “If I want to, you’ll be my plaything.”
Huo Junxian turned to look at Gu Siyu, damp and moist. When she parted her lips, Gu Siyu’s eyebrows subtly moved. “Do you want to beg me?”
Huo Junxian met her gaze. Gu Siyu leaned closer, their eyes locked. Huo Junxian’s lips twitched. “Pfft—”
She couldn’t help but laugh.
This laugh instantly enraged Gu Siyu. She frowned at Huo Junxian.
“I’m sorry, truly, I’m sorry.” Huo Junxian suppressed her laughter, reaching out to grasp Gu Siyu’s hand, trying hard to make herself appear very submissive. “I’m not laughing at you, I’m laughing at myself.”
She looked at Gu Siyu, her eyes sincere.
After hearing all that, Gu Siyu was truly, truly adorable.
Huo Junxian’s eyes welled with water, wavering, as if about to shed tears at any moment. She pressed her red lips together, like an alluring, ripe peach about to burst. “So pitiful,” she said. “I’m sorry, can I still make it up to you? I’ll respond to you, Gu Siyu, please…”

Hehe, forced love with a lunatic, so exciting, so stimulating.
How does that saying go? A series of fierce maneuvers like a tiger, only to end up being swallowed by the tiger.
