The Crazy Fox Demon Devours My Heart - Chapter 28
The wooden door was kicked open with a fierce blow!
Fox Yan immediately saw the person on the bed, her clothes disheveled, and his expression froze before turning icy cold.
He strode toward her step by step, exuding a terrifying presence, his body taut to the extreme.
It was the calm before a volcanic eruption — silent yet dangerous.
Qingyu couldn’t move, a thin layer of sweat covering her body, her face unnaturally flushed.
Her dazed eyes held no light, staring straight at the ceiling.
Fox Yan’s fingertips trembled as he gently caressed her jade-like cheeks, his gaze moving downward. Her red garments were somewhat disordered, but nothing seemed amiss. The intense malice in his eyes softened slightly.
“Ah Yu.”
Fox Yan called her softly, but her dazed eyes showed no reaction.
His narrow eyes squinted slightly.
A mind-confusing spell!
His knuckled fingers lightly touched her forehead. Her previously vacant eyes instantly became misty, and she let out a soft breath.
Her hot, feverish body coiled like a water snake, small hands groping over his firm chest, desperately searching for skin beneath the clothing.
Fox Yan’s gaze darkened. He restrained her restless hands and lifted her autumn-water-like face with his broad palm.
Her watery eyes stared directly into his. Her cherry-red lips were irresistibly tempting.
Fox Yan’s throat moved; dark emotions surged in his eyes. Forcing down the fluttering in his heart, he held Qingyu close, using his demonic power to carefully examine the abnormalities in her body.
His narrow eyes snapped open, lips tightly pressed.
It was Spring Silkworm Poison!
This toxin was unique to the demon realm, extremely potent, with no antidote. It caused uncontrollable desire and extreme heat, severely damaging demonic power.
If used on a human, the body could not withstand it; desire would never be satisfied, and the person would be exhausted to death, bleeding out and dying on the spot.
The poisoner had no intention of letting her live.
Fox Yan’s fingers traced her jawline, his palm covering her eyes filled with lustful energy.
Her long, feathery lashes fluttered restlessly under his hand, teasing and intoxicating him.
He couldn’t relieve her now; first, he had to neutralize the poison.
Qingyu felt like she was inside a furnace, unbearably hot. She loosened her clothing, exposing her shoulders, her seductive posture drawing him in.
Her pale, jade-like skin glistened; her deep gaze slid over her bare shoulder. Fox Yan suddenly grabbed the back of her long neck firmly and bit down.
As his sharp teeth pierced her skin, Qingyu let out a low, soft moan.
Her lips pressed tightly to his neck as he sucked, sending tingling pain and pleasure together through her body. She clutched his smooth, cascading hair tightly.
Bright red bl00d ran down her pale skin, accompanied by the sound of swallowing. The poison was gradually drawn into Fox Yan’s body, and her foggy eyes cleared.
Once the last trace of poison was absorbed, Qingyu regained full awareness.
Feeling the unusual pressure on her neck, she shoved him away violently, clutching the wound in shock. “What are you doing?”
Wasn’t she reading by the small window? Where was this place?
Looking down at herself, her clothes loose and slipping off her shoulder, she hurriedly tightened them, both embarrassed and angry.
Fox Yan’s lips were stained with her bl00d, his golden pupils flickering, demonic aura on full display.
The poison’s potency far exceeded his expectations. Even he could not avoid its effect.
His body involuntarily moved closer to her.
Fox Yan advanced with an overwhelming presence, and Qingyu, caught in his piercing gaze, kept retreating until her back hit the wall. She had nowhere else to go.
Her usually calm voice trembled with fear. “What do you want to do?”
“Ah Yu… I’m losing control.”
Fox Yan leaned over, pinning Qingyu beneath him, eyes blazing with desire. Their black and red garments tangled like butterflies on the bed.
“I’m sorry, Ah Yu… can it be… now?”
He pleaded, his eyes filled with longing.
Fox Yan’s assault was relentless, giving her no chance to breathe.
Before suffocating, Qingyu pulled a jade hairpin from her hair and stabbed it hard into his back.
The pain allowed Fox Yan a brief moment of clarity. He released Qingyu, lowering his gaze, voice bitter.
“Ah Yu… you don’t want this?”
Qingyu held the bloodied hairpin, wide-eyed like a frightened fawn, full of vigilance.
Just when she thought he might try again, Fox Yan picked her up and carried her back to the lake courtyard, then locked himself in his room.
Ye Die’er’s pupils constricted when she saw Fox Yan bringing Qingyu back. She could hardly believe her eyes.
Why was the Young Lord spending time with her?
Seeing Qingyu’s clothes intact, Ye Die’er was puzzled. Did he not succeed?
Spring Silkworm Poison had no antidote! How could a human survive it? Even if he failed, she should have been dead.
Qingyu, still shaken, clutched her neck in silence.
Why did she have no memory of the afternoon? What did Fox Yan do to her? And why did he bite her?
When Fuyin bandaged her, she noticed two puncture wounds on her neck.
Only then did Ye Die’er realize — the Young Lord had transferred the poison from Qingyu into himself!
She stared at the locked door, eyes glinting. Now, the Young Lord…
A blessing in disguise! Although it was unfortunate he didn’t finish the woman off, fate had given her a perfect chance to approach him.
The Young Lord was the rarest of the Nine-Tailed Foxes — he would choose only one mate for life. If she became his, she would be his one and only, the future queen of the demon realm!
Cangya noticed the Young Lord shutting himself in after retrieving the princess. Something felt wrong.
He tiptoed and pressed his ear against the locked door, listening carefully.
The room was completely silent. Just as he was about to leave, the sound of furniture crashing filled the quiet room like thunder.
Worried that something might have happened, Cangya broke in to find Fox Yan on the ground, one hand bracing him, almost revealing his demonic form.
“Young Lord! What’s happening?!”
After examining him, Cangya was shocked. “Young Lord, how did you get poisoned with Spring Silkworm Poison?!”
Fox Yan explained what had happened to Qingyu. Enraged, Cangya exclaimed, “Who could be so vicious?!”
Suppressing the poison with his demonic power, Fox Yan instructed, “Don’t spread news of my poisoning for now.”
At that moment, Ye Die’er swayed her waist, pressing her full figure forward, coquettishly concerned, “Young Lord, what’s wrong? Let me help you up.”
Fox Yan’s eyes glowed red, veins bulging on his arm. With a push, he sent Ye Die’er sprawling.
“Get lost!”
Ye Die’er hit the ground, a flash of malice in her eyes, quickly replaced with a coquettish look. “Young Lord, you hurt me.”
“My hands are all red. Blow on them for me, please.” Her fingers, fresh as spring, reached toward his flawless face, but before she could touch him, she was thrown across the yard.
“Come any closer, and I’ll kill you.”
Fox Yan didn’t even glance at her, yet his words were filled with lethal intent. Ye Die’er had no choice but to believe he meant it and dared not approach again.
Ye Die’er landed heavily in the courtyard, her hair ornaments scattered, utterly disheveled. Shui He rushed forward to help her. “Ye Die’er, let me take you back and treat your injuries.”
She shook off Shui He’s hand, her eyes full of unwillingness.
Such an opportunity could not be missed!
Cangya, seeing the Young Lord’s treatment of Ye Die’er, realized that as long as only the princess could approach him…
“Young Lord, Spring Silkworm Poison requires yin and yang to neutralize. Enduring it like this won’t work.”
“Then I’ll go fetch the princess.”
