The Crazy Villain Wants Me to Love Her - Chapter 10
Chapter 10: I Dreamed of You
Jiang Chilou shook her head, tossing away the jumbled thoughts, and simply leaned back, closing her eyes for a short rest.
The distance between the Gu family old residence and the Jiang family home was not short. By the time they arrived at the Gu family residence, it was nearly five o’clock.
Jiang Chilou felt a sudden sense of nervous excitement, like being caught spying. Her heart raced.
She took a moment to compose herself, then turned around and quickly typed a few relaxed replies:
“No, I didn’t.”
“I just happened to see her, and curiosity made me ask you.”
“I wasn’t staring the whole time.”
Gu Wan: “Is that so?”
Jiang Chilou: “It is.”
“I just happened to see her run off, like she was scared, so I couldn’t help but ask what you talked about, you know, gossip a little.”
After sending two messages, Jiang Chilou also chose a GIF of a little duck on a swing and sent it over.

“So what exactly did you two talk about?”
Gu Wan: “Just some minor company matters.”
“I didn’t scare her.”
“Alright.” Jiang Chilou instantly lost interest upon hearing it was about company matters.
She thought that the girl probably ran off because she had finished talking with Gu Wan and wanted to leave quickly.
Thinking this, she couldn’t help but reply: “Then I misunderstood earlier, sorry.”
Jiang Chilou exited the chat after replying. Recalling her initial plan, she couldn’t help but open the camera.
She adjusted the framing angle toward herself. After successfully taking a few satisfactory photos, she stood up, moved to a different spot, and changed the angle to shoot again.
Jiang Chilou put her palm to her cheek and smiled, giving the camera a wink. Just as she was about to press the shutter button, she noticed another person’s figure suddenly appear in the frame.
She paused, recognizing the person as Gu Wan, and didn’t stop her action, continuing to press the shutter button.
After taking the picture, Jiang Chilou turned around to look at Gu Wan, puzzled as to why she had suddenly appeared here.
Confused, when Gu Wan walked into the pavilion, she couldn’t help but ask: “Why did you come over?”
Gu Wan smiled faintly: “Nothing, just came over here to sit.”
She looked at Jiang Chilou, then walked to the reclining bench and sat down, subtly glancing at her original spot.
The distance from here to the banquet hall was neither far nor close. From here, one could indeed barely see the people over there, but the area was large and had many obstructions, making it very easy to lose sight of someone if one looked away for a moment.
Although her conversation with Gu Shiyao wasn’t long, Jiang Chilou not only saw Gu Shiyao talking to her but also saw Gu Shiyao run away, which meant she had been watching that area the whole time.
Even I didn’t notice how Gu Shiyao left, yet Jiang Chilou knew Gu Shiyao ran away…
Gu Wan lowered her eyes, her gaze falling on the koi pond below the pavilion.
After a moment, she looked back at Jiang Chilou: “Want to feed the koi?”
Jiang Chilou quickly walked over and sat next to Gu Wan, asking in surprise: “Do you have fish food?”
Gu Wan raised her hand. A small bag of brown fish food rested in her fair palm: “I asked Butler Xu for some just now.”
“Wow.” Jiang Chilou exclaimed in surprise, her eyes instantly curving with a smile.
“Yes, I want to feed them.”
She smiled and reached out for the fish food, her fingertips unintentionally brushing against Gu Wan’s palm.
The tingling sensation in her palm caused Gu Wan’s fingers to unconsciously curl, but they stopped just short of touching Jiang Chilou’s hand.
Only after the fish food in her palm was completely taken away did she withdraw her hand, slowly rubbing her fingertips against her palm.
Jiang Chilou opened the bag of fish food and poured a small amount into her palm. Then, with a flip of her wrist, the fish food in her palm scattered into the koi pond. Instantly, several koi of various sizes surged forward.
She stared at the koi, momentarily speechless.
Jiang Chilou had noticed there were koi in the pond when she came over earlier, assuming there were only a few, but she hadn’t expected so many to be hiding at the bottom of the pond without showing their heads.
She looked at Gu Wan: “Have there always been this many koi here?”
Gu Wan glanced at the koi fighting for food and said lightly: “There weren’t this many originally, but they breed from time to time. After a long while, this is how many there are.”
“I see.” Jiang Chilou nodded, then offered the fish food in her hand to Gu Wan, asking: “Do you want to feed them too?”
Gu Wan shook her head: “You feed them.”
“Alright.” Jiang Chilou withdrew her hand. She lowered her head to the pond, watching the koi that had finished feeding and slowly retreated, and then scattered some more fish food.
Halfway through scattering the food, she suddenly stopped and looked at Gu Wan, her face beaming: “Gu Wan, can you take a few pictures for me?”
Gu Wan looked at her for a moment, then agreed: “I can.”
Hearing this, Jiang Chilou immediately unlocked her phone and handed it to her: “Thanks!”
“Just take a few more pictures for me, regardless of how they look. I can always edit them later.”
Gu Wan softly hummed and stood up. After Jiang Chilou posed in a feeding stance, she quickly took a photo of her.
She opened the picture, intending to show Jiang Chilou to see if it was acceptable, but her thumb slipped, and the next photo instantly appeared on the screen.
Gu Wan paused slightly.
She stared at the photo of Jiang Chilou winking with her palm touching her face, her gaze slowly settling on herself in the background behind Jiang Chilou.
She had walked into Jiang Chilou’s frame, unintentionally having a photo taken with her.
“Gu Wan, are you done taking pictures?” A sudden question pulled Gu Wan back to reality.
She lowered her eyes, silently swiped back to the previous photo, and turned the phone screen toward Jiang Chilou: “Take a look.”
Jiang Chilou took the phone. She looked at it carefully, then smiled as she looked up: “You took a really good picture.”
“I truly didn’t expect you to be so skilled.”
“Please take a few more for me, thank you.” She handed the phone back to Gu Wan.
Gu Wan quietly acknowledged her request.
A long time later, the koi in the pond were full, and Jiang Chilou had finished her photo craze.
She handed the remaining half bag of fish food back to Gu Wan, asking with a smile: “Can you help me give this remaining half bag back to Butler Xu later?”
Gu Wan took it: “Sure.”
Jiang Chilou turned. She looked at the gradually disappearing sunset, then looked at Gu Wan, and couldn’t help but say: “Shall we go home now?”
“Let’s go.”
The next morning.
Gu Wan was slowly drinking coffee after finishing her breakfast when she suddenly saw a figure appear at the entrance of the dining room.
She raised an eyebrow in surprise.
The next moment, Jiang Chilou’s figure fully appeared in the dining room.
“Good morning~ Gu Wan.”
Gu Wan returned the greeting: “Morning.”
She looked at the person sitting opposite her, then looked at the clock on the wall, where the hour hand had just pointed to seven, and couldn’t help but say: “You’re up much earlier than usual today.”
Jiang Chilou sighed, looking utterly resigned: “Can’t help it. Didn’t sleep well.”
“I was dreaming the whole time, and once I woke up, I couldn’t fall back asleep.” Every time she woke up, even if she had slept very little and was exhausted, once awake, it was difficult to fall asleep again in a short time.
So, instead of lying in bed wasting time, she might as well come down for breakfast and take a nap in the afternoon.
Gu Wan looked at her listless appearance and couldn’t help but ask: “Had a nightmare?”
Jiang Chilou thought for a moment: “Not entirely. It was half good and half bad.”
“Oh?” Gu Wan was intrigued: “How so?”
Jiang Chilou propped her face up with her hands, looking at Gu Wan: “I even dreamed of you.”
Gu Wan was surprised: “Dreamed what of me?”
Was I in the good half of the dream or the bad half?
