- Chapter 2 - The Bizarre Train: "Okay, Sister~"
What is this?
Fu You’s brain went into an instant state of oxygen deprivation. Do you even know what you’re saying?
The system’s voice chimed again:
[Newbie task issued. Please say the designated provocative phrase to the conductor (Target No. C-001): “Brother, your hands are so beautiful. Can I touch them?”]
[Task Time Limit: Within one minute
Task Reward: Player points +10, gain a beginner’s charm aura
Task Failure Penalty: 50% soul energy extraction
Note: Soul energy extraction may lead to permanent dementia and brain death.
Oh, my god!
Fu You felt a wave of coldness shoot from her feet to the top of her head. She felt like she was about to fall apart.
Here she was, dressed like this, with her hair in a mess, and they wanted her to flirt with this “Gloomy Conductor,” who didn’t sound like a good person at all just from his name?!
This was like they were digging her grave for her because they thought she wasn’t dying fast enough!
She snapped back to reality. The handsome young man was still smiling at her, and she could only give him a faint, forced smile back.
She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but the words “Scofflaws will be executed” flashed in her mind. Her throat felt as if something was lodged there, and she couldn’t speak for a long time.
The man was stunned. Seeing that Fu You had nothing to say, he took his hand off the luggage rack and turned to walk toward the end of the car.
At that moment, a countdown appeared before Fu You’s eyes.
She had no choice. She stood up, not saying a word, and grabbed the man’s hand.
The man turned his head sharply and looked at her, smiling as he said, “Miss, is there something I can help you with?”
Fu You swallowed as she stared at his handsome face. She looked down at the man’s hands—long, slender fingers and soft, pale skin. She smiled, touching his hands, and said in a very low voice, “Brother, your hands are so beautiful. Can I touch them?”
Ugh, what a line. Wasn’t I already touching them?!
The man took a step closer to Fu You and responded with a hint of playfulness, “You are a bit different from other prey.”
He suddenly withdrew his hand and pulled out a crimson rose from behind his back, offering it to Fu You.
Just then, three options appeared before Fu You’s eyes:
The Gloomy Conductor has initiated an interaction with you. Your choice is.
A: Accept the rose and hug him.
B: Refuse the rose and beg him to let you go.
C: Throw the rose away and slap him.
The choice window was very short. According to the system’s prompt, if she didn’t choose within thirty seconds, it would be considered a failure, and her soul would be instantly drained, or she would be turned into a salad by the Boss.
This was the first time Fu You had met him—no, to be precise, the second time.
Although she hadn’t seen him when her head was chopped off the first time, you could still say they’d met.
She knew very, very little about this Boss, so she couldn’t tell which was the right answer.
So, she could only close her eyes and take a gamble.
Anyway, it seems I can be revived if I die. It just hurts a little.
After a moment of thought, Fu You chose A without hesitation.
When Fu You reached out for the rose and stood on her tiptoes to wrap her arms around his neck, the conductor was clearly stunned.
He had never imagined a human would act this way toward him.
The conductor pushed her away. “What are you doing?”
Fu You thought her hugging posture was wrong, so she changed her approach, reaching out to wrap her arms around the conductor’s waist and pressing her face tightly against his chest.
She had to admit, dying once was almost worth it.
Unexpectedly, the conductor yanked her hands off, and she stumbled, falling back into the chair. The conductor stared at her, the curve of his lips growing wider and wider.
“No, that’s not right. This shouldn’t happen…”
Fu You, terrified, curled up in the chair. She turned her head meekly, wanting to say something to the conductor, but her neck suddenly tensed up. She instinctively looked down, and her vision began to spin.
Before she lost consciousness, Fu You saw her own body still curled up in the chair, and the conductor reached down, picked up her head, and she heard him say, “It shouldn’t be a hug~”
[The Gloomy Conductor has initiated an interaction with you. Your choice is—
A: Accept the rose and hug him.
B: Refuse the rose and beg him to let you go.
C: Throw the rose away and slap him.]
Fu You’s eyes snapped open. The first thing she saw was the crimson rose.
The options appeared again before her eyes. After a few seconds, Fu You realized that she had been revived again.
The memory of her head being cut off came rushing back, and Fu You quickly touched her head, terrified.
Thankfully, it’s still attached to my neck.
A shiver ran down her spine at the thought.
The conductor saw everything she did. He didn’t like this. He didn’t like people showing fear toward him. He didn’t like it at all.
Smack!
A sudden slap stunned the conductor.
He was filled with shock, and so was Fu You.
Fu You felt a pang of pity. She was afraid to show it, but she had just slapped a man with such a beautiful face.
“You… you slapped me?” He touched the side of his face with a look of pure astonishment.
Fu You took a step back, her hand holding the rose, covered in bl00d. She had instinctively squeezed the thorny rose too hard.
She didn’t answer the conductor. She thought she hadn’t hit him hard enough, so she turned and slapped him again.
The conductor’s face was turned to the side, and a drop of bl00d trickled down to the corner of his mouth. He reached out, wiped the bl00d away, and then brought his finger to his mouth, licking it clean.
Fu You said nothing. There was no fear in her eyes. She looked at him with the poise of a queen.
C was her final choice.
Even though this man was very handsome, she still had some backbone. She would never beg. She had to show her courage.
And this time, she had gambled correctly.
The system’s chime appeared:
[The Gloomy Conductor’s happiness value +20]
What, is this guy crazy?!
The conductor gazed at Fu You with an evil charm, terrifying her and making her plop back into her seat. The conductor leaned down, placing his hands on the armrests of the chair, and slowly buried his face next to Fu You’s ear.
“Did you hit me so hard because you like me, Sister?”
What the?!
Fu You said nothing. She could clearly hear the conductor’s breathing next to her ear. She was too scared to even take a deep breath, afraid that she might say the wrong thing and lose her life.
But for now, it seemed she was safe, since the conductor’s happiness value had just gone up by twenty.
Seeing that Fu You wasn’t responding, the conductor stood up, unbuttoning his suit cuff, and said, “I admit, you’re a pretty interesting prey, but if you don’t pay attention to me, I’ll get angry.”
Fu You quickly sat up straight, crossed her legs, and looked up at the conductor. “How do you want me to pay attention to you? Should I slap you again?”
The conductor didn’t say anything. He just squatted down, picked Fu You up by the waist, and walked toward the car behind them. Fu, You looked at the passengers in the car ahead. They seemed to be soulless people. They would turn to look at her, but that was all.
This made her think of what the system had said—that if you died, you would stay here. So these must be the players who had died.
In other words, they were the players who were here to be this Boss’s salad.
Fu You closed her eyes tightly, one hand resting on the conductor’s arm until he placed her on a soft, large bed.
The conductor even thoughtfully brought her some clothes, but he only had a shirt, so Fu You just wore his shirt like a dress.
When Fu You’s long, slender legs were exposed, the conductor couldn’t help but stare and swallow. The next second, he picked Fu You up, sat her on his lap, and looked at her with a crazed infatuation.
He had been hunting prey on this train for so long. Most of the people would kneel, kowtow, or cry and be very annoying.
A small number would resist fiercely and try to kill him.
But they all ended up as his dinner, or they were waiting on this train to be made into a salad one day.
Their deaths were significant.
It was so boring.
The conductor was tired of hearing the screams and pleas of his prey. Instead of tormenting them, he wanted to be the prey himself.
There were so many boring prey that he was a bit tired.
Until today—
“Please love me, Sister. Wei Shengjun Yu will forever submit to you. Please love me with your wildness.”
Fu You wrapped her arms around the conductor’s neck and looked down at his handsome face. She had to admit that with such a handsome face, a great body, and the allure of his muscles, she even thought that it would be worth it to go to bed with him!
But alas, the happiness value was only twenty, so she would pass on that.
Fu You gently took the conductor’s chin, tilted it up slightly, leaned down, and whispered into his ear, “I want you to call me Master~”
Although she had never been in a relationship, she had seen plenty of domineering CEO dramas and dark romance novels, so she had a firm grasp of the situation.
“Master, Wei Shengjun Yu will forever submit to you.”
[Happiness value +20]
Fu , You didn’t expect this guy’s happiness value to increase so easily. She was secretly overjoyed.
On second thought, it was probably because the difficulty of this first dungeon was low, with a difficulty level of only one star. It was most likely because she was a newbie.
But, well, if the rest of them were handsome guys like this, she thought she could handle it.
“Master, will you continue to love me wildly?”
A moment later, Wei Shengjun Yu looked at her pleadingly, like a little puppy wagging its tail, waiting for its owner to hug and care for it.
“But I’m hungry.”
Fu, you got up from his lap, threw the rose to him, and walked naturally over to wipe the bl00d off his body.
“Understood, Master. I’ll get you something to eat right away.”
“Wait,” Fu You stopped him. She looked down at her bare feet. “I need shoes, and from now on, you’ll still call me Sister.”
“Okay, Sister~”
