“Yes, A’Fu, you promised me. There’s not much time. You have to get Fu You’s eyes for me tomorrow.”

“No, you can’t. You can’t hurt Fu You… you can’t…” He muttered softly. The next second, Fu Lu held his head with both hands. “Ah! Hiss! Ugh—I, I can’t remember! Xun Lu, I can’t remember. Who is Fu You? Who is Fu You?”

A wicked smile appeared on Xun Lu’s face. Everything was going according to plan, but why was Fu Lu, who was under an illusion, still thinking about that woman? Why was he so reluctant to kill her? It was infuriating.

Xun Lu reached for the umbrella, handed the handle to Fu Lu, and then took his arm, preparing to leave. A shout came from the bridge. She remembered that voice. It was that woman.
