- Chapter 9 - The Bizarre Train: Are You Looking for Me Sister
The little candy person then handed her another candy. This time, Fu You didn’t bend down to take it. Instead, the candy person sent the candy to her in a bubble.
Pop!
Fu You’s hands still felt itchy, so she popped the bubble. The candy fell into her hand.
This candy’s wrapper was different from the previous two. The wrapper was pink and had a smiling little tiger on it.
Fu You remembered that this was the tiger doll from the boy who was being dragged away.
She couldn’t help but unwrap it. The taste was even more complicated than the previous two candies. At first, it was very sweet, then a little sour, and finally, it turned bitter.
“Congratulations, it’s a healthy baby boy.”
“Look at those plump, adorable little feet, aren’t they cute?”
“Yes, my little brother is so cute.”
Fu You saw the newborn Wei Shengjun Yu in the hospital room. He was really cute. He was lying in his mother’s arms, and his sister was beside him, touching his cheek.
Later, his mother took him home and settled him and his sister on the second floor of their self-built house, telling them not to go downstairs.
Only then did Fu You realize that his mother was a widow.
And she didn’t know whose child he was.
His sister, who was about seven or eight years old, was always on the second floor taking care of her little brother.
Meanwhile, their mother was on the first floor entertaining guests and doing the quickest business for money.
Their family was poor. She had been sold to a local butcher, but who would have known that the butcher would die on his wedding night? From then on, she became the local widow. No one was willing to marry her.
It was that night that she had his sister.
But now, to make a living, even though people wouldn’t marry her, they most admired her beauty and her graceful figure. Every man wanted to have something with her.
So, she started entertaining guests.
She had to admit, this was a quick way to make money, but it was still hard to support a family of three. The men there would only give her ten or twenty dollars at a time, which wasn’t enough to send a child to school.
As time went on, his mother went from a young woman to a middle-aged one. The men gave her less and less money.
Their mother’s plan was now focused on their sister.
At that time, his sister had just become an adult. She was a beautiful young lady, very much like their mother. She was pretty and had a nice figure.
One day, their mother called their sister downstairs. It was the first time she had called her downstairs when there were guests.
His sister went downstairs, and she came back up crying.
She told her little brother that a man downstairs had touched her, but she didn’t dare to fight back because their mother said it would make them money.
Just because the man touched her br3ast, their mother called her upstairs to entertain him, and for the first time, she received two hundred dollars.
After that time, their mother would call their sister downstairs. These men became bolder and bolder, from touching her upper body to asking to touch her lower body.
Finally, they defiled his sister.
But their mother also received five hundred dollars for it.
His sister was crying in bed while putting on her clothes, telling their mother that it hurt. Their mother didn’t care at all. She was counting the money in her hand by the stairs. Then she slowly looked up, glaring at Wei Shengjun Yu, who was watching his sister cry from the stairs.
Fu You’s fists were clenched tightly. She wanted to punch that damn mother.
The scene ended with Wei Shengjun Yu’s frightened eyes.
To understand Wei Shengjun Yu more deeply, Fu You collected all the candies the little candy person gave her. When the little candy person stopped giving her candies, she even went up and asked if there were any more.
After the little candy person shook its head, she unwrapped all the candies and took a bite out of each one.
Without exception, every candy was disgusting.
Although the candies were disgusting, she could endure the bitterness. But Wei Shengjun Yu’s pain had been with him his entire life.
Fu You saw Wei Shengjun Yu as he grew up, looking neither male nor female. He didn’t know if he should be a boy or a girl. He would wear any clothes others had thrown away.
He was always at the amusement park waiting for his sister to take him home. He would stand in the same spot, waiting for her. Even on a hot summer day, when he got heatstroke and fainted, he would still wait.
When he fainted and was rescued by someone, he had long hair, and people thought he was a girl. But some people said he was a boy. A middle-aged woman asked him if he was a boy or a girl, and he answered that he was a girl.
The woman just smiled and turned to leave.
Even though he was treated like this, he would still share the food he had begged for with the stray cats and dogs in the zoo.
He would also sit beside the shelters that kind people had built for these stray animals and eat with them, smiling.
Later, he was driven out.
He had worked twenty-seven jobs but was swindled out of his newly earned salary by a limping old man who fell down. He was only able to eat scraps from a dirty bucket at a restaurant late at night. He was robbed thirty-two times and abused nineteen times.
Until he met a mysterious person who was like a magician, wearing a tall black hat, holding a cane, a black tailcoat, and pointed leather shoes.
He got a new job, and the mysterious man shaved his head, gave him new clothes, and a place to live.
Wei Shengjun Yu began his new journey.
Initially, he was just a human working as a conductor on a train that transported monsters. Later, he found that these monsters were always eyeing him.
Kilua had said that they were just excited by the smell of bl00d on him and that there was nothing to fear.
Wei Shengjun Yu nodded, confused. He knew Kilua was on the train, so he would be fine. Besides, he was a grateful person. Kilua had given him a new job and a high salary. He would work hard to repay him.
Every night, Kilua would not let him leave that room. Fu You realized it was the same room she had been staying in.
One night, Wei Shengjun Yu had a bad stomachache and wanted to go find Kilua. Finally, he discovered Kilua’s hobby—no, it was the monsters’ hobby—
Humiliation and violence. He saw them being wantonly humiliated. Some monsters were willing to be subjugated by others.
They had no gender and could do anything they wanted.
Kilua turned and saw him. He knew Kilua was considered a human. He watched as Kilua smiled at him, and he walked toward him.
At that moment, Kilua attacked him viciously.
Wei Shengjun Yu didn’t seem to be able to satisfy Kilua. When he found out that Kilua was a woman with the appearance of a man, he began to flee in a panic.
It was the first time he had seen a human like this, or rather, a monster.
Fu You ate the last candy.
She saw it. She saw all the monsters on the train become charred corpses. Every single one was smiling while sitting in their chairs in the train car. In the driver’s seat, a charred corpse was sitting there, wearing a tailcoat, a tall hat, holding a cane, and wearing pointed leather shoes.
He was smiling.
Wei Shengjun Yu stood in the center of the train, looking at the corpses and smiling wildly. He seemed unable to feel whatever was piercing him from behind. He didn’t feel any pain. Instead, he laughed loudly until the tentacles completely wrapped around his body, until he could no longer make a sound.
A few seconds before the scene ended, Fu You saw the collar around Wei Shengjun Yu’s neck before he was swallowed by the tentacles. It was a rope that looked like a collar.
Fu You’s eyes suddenly flew open. She looked up at the words “Heaven” above her. Her expression was complicated. She lowered her head and looked at the candy castle in front of her.
The castle had nothing on it before, but now it was covered in candies that formed a big smiling face.
Tears streamed down Fu You’s cheeks. She looked at the smiling face and muttered, “Your life was so bitter. Even when you were surrounded by hardship, you never gave up your kindness. But in the end, you were swallowed by the person you thought was your hope. Do you also want to know if your sister will come and get you?”
She wiped her face, touching the red thread on her wrist. “Don’t be afraid. Sister is here to get you now.”
A tear fell and landed on the red thread on her wrist. The red thread slowly came off and fell to the ground, forming a red collar.
Fu You picked up the collar and felt its texture. It was a handmade collar. It was the collar that Wei Shengjun Yu had bought for the stray dog that had been following him with his salary. He wanted to make a tag for it, so it would have an owner.
But in the end, this collar ended up on his own neck.
[Congratulations to the host for finding the special item. Now, please find the Boss and put it on him with your own hands.]
Fu You held the collar in her hand and looked around. Wei Shengjun Yu said he was going to find her something to eat, but he hadn’t come back in a long time. She didn’t know where he had gone.
“How am I supposed to know where he is?”
As soon as she spoke, Wei Shengjun Yu appeared behind Fu You. “Are you looking for me, Sister?”
Fu You turned around and saw Wei Shengjun Yu’s infatuated smile. She couldn’t help but hug him. “How could you make me wait for so long? Do you want a taste of the whip again?”
In reality, she no longer had the whip.
“Sister, follow me.”
Wei Shengjun Yu didn’t wait for Fu You to react. He pulled her to the other side of the candy house. In fact, he didn’t dare to step into the so-called “Heaven.” He didn’t dare to enter through the main door. He didn’t want to destroy the heaven he had built with his own hands.
He pulled Fu You into a dark place. When she opened her eyes, she saw the princess room she had been dreaming of. There were all kinds of dolls she liked, the cute ones.
In the center was a small round table with two chairs. The table was covered with delicious food.
He walked over and pointed to the dishes in the middle. “Sister, don’t worry. These are all vegetables. There’s no bl00d.”
Fu You walked closer. She stared at the strange dishes on the table. Each dish was shaped like a small animal. He had made her a whole animal banquet out of vegetables.
Her tears almost fell.
Wei Shengjun Yu pulled out a chair for her and helped her sit down. Then he walked to the opposite side of the table and sat down. He placed his hands flat on the table, waiting for Fu You to signal that they could start eating.
Fu You was about to pick up the knife and fork in front of her when she saw many pink heart-shaped balloons floating behind Wei Shengjun Yu. The word “Sister” was written on them.
“Would you do this for other people, too?”
She put down her knife and fork and looked at Wei Shengjun Yu. This question stunned him. She was also stunned herself. She didn’t know why she had blurted that out. The next second, she picked up her knife and fork as if she hadn’t said anything and prepared to eat.
Wei Shengjun Yu was stunned because he felt his heart suddenly beat faster. He stood up, walked to Fu You, and grabbed her hand. His eyes were filled with a wild love.
“Wei Shengjun Yu will never be good to anyone but Sister. There is only one person in Wei Shengjun Yu’s heart, his dear Sister. I hope Sister will always love me, too.”
With that, he placed one of Fu You’s hands on his chest. Fu You felt his heartbeat. This time, it was very clear.
She reached out and cupped Wei Shengjun Yu’s face. She smiled and said, “Of course.”
