The Domineering CEO, but a Crybaby! - Chapter 3
Chapter 3: Freedom To Play
“Honey, that’s not how you beg.”
He Shu held her breath after speaking, tears falling silently, unable to stop.
Her body seemed to have some kind of tear incontinence.
Speaking of which, she hadn’t looked in a mirror yet, she didn’t know what she looked like now.
She hoped she didn’t look perverted too…
Through blurry tears, she saw a tiny red dot on the earlobe she had just bitten and licked. It looked like a mole, but looking closely, it seemed to have a pattern.
Before she could examine it further, an extremely hoarse voice broke the silence.
“What are you crying about?”
Upon hearing this, He Shu’s eyes widened abruptly, so surprised that her crying stopped. She couldn’t help but look up at the person who spoke.
She, how could she…
“System, come out quickly! Why isn’t she following the script? Is she trying to change the plot? Is she going to kill me right away?!”
In the original novel, at this point, the other party was clearly supposed to say, ‘Please, let me go.’
This sentence was followed by an explanation.
Cen Qianyi saying this was not genuine begging for mercy. It was her habit. When she mentally sentenced someone to death, she would decide their method of death based on their reaction to her ‘begging for mercy.’
Right, she would still die, just a quicker and easier death. This was probably a small mercy from her as the world-destroying villain.
Now she hadn’t said that! He Shu was terrified; she had been directly deprived of the chance for ‘sentence reduction’!
What, did she lick her wrong?
In the original, licking was fine, and she had already sped it up as much as possible, like a frog catching a mosquito.
Could it be that she didn’t lick enough?
“System, system, come out! What do I do now! This person isn’t following the script, what do I say?”
He Shu was so anxious she was about to cry again when the emotionless electronic voice finally sounded.
Host can improvise. Please connect to the dialogue as soon as possible.
“What? Improvise?”
She improvises, improvises what?
And this villain, why on earth did she ask why she was crying?
Why else? Because she was scared!
“How about I just tell her directly that I’m just an unlucky transmigrator, bah, a unlucky transmigrator, and now I have to go through this perverted plot. Then I’ll kneel down and beg her not to kill me, and not to destroy the world, so we can all be good.
System reminder: Spoiling the plot will restart everything.
He Shu: “Then what do I say?”
Improvise.
He Shu looked at those light purple eyes, feeling that their gaze seemed a few shades deeper than before.
He Shu usually never dropped a conversation, but now her mind was blank. After a long pause, she improvised two words.
“You guess.”
System: ” …”
Cen Qianyi’s hand, which was pinned down by He Shu, had its knuckles curled. Her fingernail scraped against her thumb, sharpening the blade disguised as a nail. She looked at the person, retracting her slight curiosity.
“What do you want to do by capturing me?”
As she spoke, Cen Qianyi glanced at the handcuffs on her wrist. She had originally thought the person was just handcuffing her because they were afraid she would run away. Her gaze then subtly shifted to the gag beside her… so that’s what was stuffed in her mouth… this person was even more suicidal than she thought.
Thinking of this, her ear twitched slightly. That sensation on her ear just now… was that her ‘play’?
“You guess.” He Shu continued to improvise.
Cen Qianyi raised an eyebrow. She had the least patience for guessing people’s thoughts. Her knuckles flexed, and her curled hand gradually tightened. The bones in her palm seemed to disappear, her entire hand curling into a tiny ball, small enough to easily slip out of the handcuffs.
He Shu didn’t see this scene. She was surprised by the panic that surged in Cen Qianyi’s eyes.
“Please, let me go.”
Upon hearing this, He Shu’s red, tear-stained eyes suddenly lit up, and the dialogue prompt reappeared in her mind.
It actually went back to the original plot!
He Shu had to press the button for the other party’s action prompt to disappear. As soon as it did, she immediately got up from the person.
With the sudden change, Cen Qianyi’s hand, which was about to break free from the handcuffs, returned to its original state in the blink of an eye. A hint of confusion quickly flashed in her eyes.
Was she discovered?
He Shu didn’t know she had escaped death again. She was distressed that the next lines were truly shameful.
“Honey, that’s not how you beg.”
He Shu sobbed, quickly leaned forward, reached out, and tugged at the already low neckline of the other party’s nightgown.
Closing her eyes, she slipped a finger in and quickly hooked it along the cleavage.
“Don’t worry, I’ll teach you.”
After saying that, He Shu abruptly pulled her hand back, looking as startled as if she had just plunged it into a fire and would be burned if she didn’t pull it back a second later.
Cen Qianyi: …
She lowered her head to look at her pulled-down neckline, then looked at the person by the bed who dared not even glance at her…
What was she doing…?
‘Thump thump thump,’ just then, the room door was suddenly knocked on.
He Shu’s mind simultaneously received an electronic notification.
Ding ding ding, Plot Two successfully completed. Rewards have been sent.
Hospital scene plot fully concluded. Rewards have been sent.
Congratulations, Host, for successfully passing the novice period. Additional rewards have been sent.
Upbeat music accompanied the emotionless electronic voice, managing to create a somewhat festive atmosphere, making He Shu unable to cry even in such a sad situation.
“What rewards?”
Another series of broadcast sounds.
Scene One reward: one muscle relaxant antidote.
Scene Two reward: one blind cane.
Hospital arc completion reward: one white lab coat.
Novice extra reward: three-day killing intent experience card.
He Shu listened to these items. A blind cane? A white lab coat? What use are these? What kind of filler rewards are these!
Only this muscle relaxant antidote might be somewhat useful if she were ever injected with a muscle relaxant.
As for the last item, she couldn’t understand it.
“Killing intent experience card? What’s it for?”
Host, don’t you want to know if the other party is going to kill you? With this, it’s like an earthquake early warning; you can sense it in advance. It’s a novice benefit~
He Shu: “Is it accurate?”
You can try it.
He Shu clicked confirm use in her mind.
The next second, He Shu saw the air condense into tiny knives, their blades uniformly turning towards her.
Oh my god, this is killing intent?
Just then, a sharp electronic sound erupted from the deafening alarm in her mind.
Run! Host, run!
He Shu glanced up. The person on the hospital bed, who should have been sleeping deeply, had opened her eyes.
In her light purple eyes, ice crystals seemed to have congealed.
Sharp and dangerous.
