Shen Ji was very well-behaved. Even though she was completely drunk, she didn’t cause any trouble on the way back. She quietly curled up in a corner, occasionally mumbling a few words.

Yu Chiyin’s curiosity was piqued. She shifted closer, leaning in to listen. She only heard the little glutton say in a slurred voice,

“Should I take you to the hospital?”

Yu Chiyin felt like her own mind was covered in a thick fog. Her thoughts were sluggish, and she muttered, “Why do I feel like I’m drunk too?”

The back of the car was hit. The driver instinctively slammed on the brakes. The two groggy people in the back were thrown forward, tumbling into a heap.

Yu Chiyin covered her head. The heavy body of the little drunkard was pressing down on her. She couldn’t struggle free. The driver in the front turned his head and asked, 

“Miss Yu, are you alright?”

The bodyguard, as soon as the car came to a stop, unbuckled his seatbelt and got out to check the situation.

A silver-gray sports car had rear-ended them. It happened just as they were waiting for a red light. The collision wasn’t severe. The driver’s door of the silver-gray sports car opened, and a familiar person stepped out.

The bodyguard’s eyelid twitched. He immediately wanted to turn and walk away.

Jiang Sheng’s exaggerated voice made it sound like he had found a long-lost relative.

His voice was clearly audible even through the car door. To ensure privacy, the windows of this business car were covered with a high-privacy film, and they even had small curtains inside. Jiang Sheng jumped up and down, but he couldn’t see any movement inside.

“I’m just concerned about you, cousin. You look unwell. How about I take you to the hospital to get checked out?”

Yu Chiyin had already realized something was wrong. It seemed the wine had been tampered with. She had originally thought Shen Ji was just a lightweight to be so drunk, but the more Jiang Sheng pestered her, the more he revealed his true intentions.

“Do you want to die?” Yu Chiyin raised her phone, unlocked it in front of Jiang Sheng, and dialed a number.

“Beep—”

Before the second ring, a gentle and kind voice came from the other end. 

“My dear granddaughter, what made you suddenly call your grandmother?”

“Jiang Sheng, he drugged me, then crashed into my car, and is now pestering me, refusing to let me leave.”

On the way, both her shoes had been kicked off somewhere.

Li Ran was about to say something else when Yu Chiyin’s voice came from the master bedroom, 

“Li Song, come in.”

Li Song immediately jumped up with her medicine box.
