The Genius and Calamity of the Villainous Noble: A Brilliant Prodigy Unaware of Their Reincarnation as the Game's Antagonist Defies the Scenario and Dominates with Talent and Hard Work - Chapter 1.14
“Hmm, what should I do now?”
After Marina darted out of the room, I followed her into the hallway, but she must have been running at an incredible speed because I quickly lost sight of her.
Marina, being one of the most capable individuals in the entire Reinhardt family, was simply out of my league when it came to speed.
I couldn’t even sense her presence anymore.
“…Oh. You’re back, I see.”
As I wandered aimlessly through the mansion, I happened to cross paths with my eldest brother, Eurus von Reinhardt.
Among my siblings, I have two older brothers—Eurus being the eldest—and three sisters: the first, second, and youngest. That makes six of us in total.
Eurus, the one most favored to succeed as the next head of the Reinhardt family, gave me a look brimming with disdain.
“It seems you’re not as exceptional as I had hoped. How disappointing. Doing something so utterly meaningless… what a waste.”
His tone was drenched in condescension, and his gaze felt like it was sizing me up just to find me lacking.
For the record, while Eurus is certainly capable, he’s not exceptionally brilliant.
“Ah, yes, yes. You’re absolutely right. Anyway, I’ll just…”
Deciding it would be far too bothersome to engage with him any further, I turned to leave.
But, of course, life couldn’t be that easy.
“My, my. Are you saying you don’t understand the revolutionary brilliance of that bank? How dreadfully ignorant of you,” chimed in another voice.
“Huh?”
The unexpected interruption came from my eldest sister, Lilisha von Reinhardt, who had somehow joined the conversation.
“Ah…”
This was quickly shaping up to be very troublesome.
