“I’m fine. I had a delivery for you, so I rushed to bring it.”

“A delivery for me? What did you bring?”

“Yes, here it is. I’m glad it arrived in time for tonight’s watch.”

“It was requested by Lord Mergin to be given to you.”

“What? A gift from Mergin to Rose?”

Ortenen opened the package Adele was holding before Rose could.

“Underwear…? Did that guy really send Rose underwear?”

Ortenen, misunderstanding that Mergin had sent underwear to his sister, was somewhat angry.

“It’s not underwear. It’s something to wear over the innerwear.”

“Is that fabric from yesterday?”

“Yes, the lady requested that Rose’s items be prioritized. Please put it on quickly and let us know your thoughts.”
