“Rose, I’m happy to hold you like this, but the Star’s Guidance is struggling, so I’ll go check on them.”

“Aaah, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…”

“No, feel free to hold on anytime.”

Rose, blushing deeply and looking down, is a bit disappointed, while Mergin goes over to the slumped Locker and Cisco.

“Locker, are you okay?”

“I’m too tired to stand.”

“You’re out of mana. After you calm down, let’s have a light meal.”

“I understand Cisco is exhausted from using magic, but why is Vanessa exhausted too, even though she wasn’t using magic?”

“Mergin, Cisco’s protection spell didn’t work well, so she had a tantrum and started shooting arrows. She was desperate to escape.”

It seems Vanessa kept hitting Cisco with rubber kunai, and an enraged Cisco shot arrows at Vanessa. On closer inspection, there are arrows scattered everywhere. It’s surprising how poorly they hit.

I hand out the grilled ones to those who reach out.

I’ve become content just making things. I guess I’ll just have the soup. It seems like we’ll probably end the training without further drills, and it looks like we’ll stop by Rikka’s diner on the way back.

As expected, after eating, everyone was tired and lost their motivation, so the training ended.

While getting ready to leave, Rose was fidgeting.

“Need the bathroom?”
